All –
I am still trying to figure out how to set up a live/interactive feature on EPautos. What I have in mind is a Skype-esque or similar thing where I’d be “live” – video feed – at my desk for say 30 minutes once a week, ready to take calls and try to answer questions as they come. This would enable Clover (and Ol’ Hickory Stick; he’s baaack!) and other Yins to our Yang to go toe-to-toe with me, from the safety and anonymity of their mothers’ basements.
But, I haven’t yet figured out the mechanics of it; the actual nuts and bolts (so to speak) involved w/setting it up. So I’m wondering whether any of you out there might be able to help? I’m very interested in having a WP hipster come on board. Right now, I can’t afford to pay. But if things continue to go well – and so far, so good – that is a definite possibility. Anyone who’s at all interested, please drop a line ([email protected]).
Also, it’s time for the mid-month fundraising pitch. We’re a bit slow at the moment and thought it’d be a good time to mention that. You guys have always come through – so far – and I’m confident (well, hoping) that you will again this month.
I’ve added a new feature to the site: Replaced the “Clover” videos (which didn’t seem to draw much attention) with a section devoted to audio of my latest radio appearances. I just posted the two most recent. Those of you who know me know I am not a big (or even a small) extrovert and these appearances are not easy for me. But I am working on it and hopefully, improving.
All right. That’s all for now. Thanks again to everyone out there who makes all this possible – and for the kind words so many of you have conveyed to me privately.
-Eric
