On-Air Today (Tuesday) Plus…

I’ll be a guest on Bryan Hyde’s show again at 3 east coast time Tuesday afternoon. Please tune in, if you can – and if not, I’ll have the audio available here within a day or so.

I’d also like to publicly thank PM from ND and a couple others – SafeRide and Mr. Lib – for their recent and very generous donations. But I’d also like to thank everyone who sent in something – anything. EPautos survives on volume. Potentially, it’s a beautiful thing. I can operate this little refuge from Cloverism on a relative shoestring – something that would not have been possible in the pre-Internet era. I know – I was there. You either worked for a MSM publication or you didn’t work. Well, you could work – write columns, do journalism. But good luck getting any of it in front of readers.

The Internet has put someone like me on equal footing with The New York Times. Potentially, millions of people can read EPautos every day.

That’s the upside.

The downside, of course, is that The New York Times has deep pockets and big money support. EPautos has empty pockets – and depends on your support.

It does not require much support to make this a going thing. But it does require enough to meet expenses (not huge, but a couple hundred bucks each month for the heavy-duty server we’ve got, which – you may have noticed – never crashes and that’s why I pay a couple hundred bucks a month for it) plus some shekels for your humble servant (that’s me). It’d be wonderful if the site developed to the point that I could afford to hire help – especially technically help (and a copy editor would be a godsend) but for now, the prime directive is keeping my head above the water.
