Here’s a video the armed government workers depicted in it surely wish had never seen the light of day. In it, several of them mob and beat a couple of teenagers a third their size. The incident was apparently triggered over a petty infraction of some kind:
The abused teens have just received a payout – but it’s taxpayers who pay out, not the armed government workers.
An easy reform – something which might actually serve to chasten these thugs-in-costumes – would be to change the law and make them personally liable for abuse. These armed government workers should be living in a van by the river for the river for the rest of their lives – and even that is too good for them.
