Or rather, an excuse to start some.
This video was taken by a man apparently sitting in his car in the parking lot of a Planet Fitness – which is a 24-hour gym. A bloated, waddling armed government workers appears and begins to pester the guy about various pedantic “violations.” The armed government worker is polite, but that’s an irrelevance when dealing with . . . an armed government worker. Threats of violence hang heavy every time one is forced to deal with one of these armed and dangerous geeks.
The hippo eventually waddles away, but you can tell he was just itching to escalate.
And that’s the primary problem with these armed and dangerous, easily-affronted thugs. They are out looking for “violations” – pretexts for using force and violence against people who’ve caused no harm to anyone.
Until we can get back to peacekeeping – as opposed to law enforcing – this will not change and will probably get worse.
