Here’s the latest reader question, along with my reply!
Michael asks: You have been kind to answer my questions on two vehicles in the past (VW Phaeton and Lexus LS460). I want to send a donation. Do I make it to you or EP Autos? I tried to use PayPal, and they wouldn’t let me donate as a guest. I’ve also read that they’ve been banning freethinkers from using there service. I’ve heard other services like Patreon are good. Maybe a cryptocurrency payment as well. One article suggestion. I love the comment section and the discussions on older vehicles. Maybe a go to list of vehicles that would be good to own, that don’t have all the Clover items. Just a thought.
My reply: I go both ways – so to speak! You can send in a donation via PayPal (the address is [email protected]; just click on this button) or, if you prefer, send via the mail in c/o EPautos, 721 Hummingbird Lane SE, Copper Hill, VA 24079.
I need to check into Patreon; when I have some free time I will!
On your article suggestion: This topic comes up periodically and my general answer is you are safe with anything built before the early ’90s and (for the most part) most cars made up through the early-mid 2000s. Anything after circa 2005 or so is afflicted and you’ll probably want to steer clear.
Thanks again for the kind words!
