Here’s the latest reader question, along with my reply!
Scott asks: You posted some video and referred repeatedly to AGWs. I have no clue what an “AGW” – is and looking in the various dictionaries has left me equally clueless. I really appreciate the work you do and generally agree with you philosophically. How about treating me with the respect of clarity of exposition. I can’t read minds.
My reply: It’s my own coinage and EPautos inside baseball. Armed Government Worker. It has a nice – and accurate – ring to it. Much better, in my view, than a merely derogatory term such as “pig.”
AGW conveys the bureaucratic flavor of it, too. What Hannah Arendt called the banality of evil.
AGWs are generally very mediocre if not sub-par people who live by force and impose force on others, but only by dint of numbers and the strength that gives them. Take away the badges of office and Batman gear and most of all, the government Authoritah and what you’re left with, basically, are the same pitiful specimens on display in the dock at Nuremburg.

AGW and clover ought to be defined/discussed in a FAQ or glossary etc. on the site
