Here’s the audio of my chat earlier today with Brian Hyde, who hosts the Loving Liberty show in Oregon!
I was on iHeart radio last night with David Gornoski and Ernest Hancock in AZ this morning; hope to have the audio clips of both of those available here shortly.

Shame about Nissan.
I have a 2012 Maxima. I love this car. It’s really one of the more pleasant driving cars I’ve owned. It’s a (#Q$%R rocket.
Regarding your EV talk – My 2003, 200K mile 4Runner was totaled by hail, and I bought a used Versa with 25K on the clock, still under warranty, for the settlement. 1.8l ((the “big” motor). It was a nice little car. Reminded me of my old ’78 civic, only with better appointments, like ac and nav system. I spent 10K on the thing from a used car dealer buddy. You can pick cars like this up for nothing, which makes the EV even less worth the cost.
Long story short, the wife hated the thing. Traded it on a CR-V, which I hated. My car is now a sequoia. Puts a smile on my face as I stomp on the gas, making that V8 hurt the planet.
