Devin asks: I have donated to the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) even though I am a NH man. You might request a similar action of your readers.
My reply: Yes, well-said. The VCDL – unlike the NRA – is not in the business of making money. It is in the business of fighting to protect the right of the people to keep and bear arms, without permission or qualification. VCDL doesn’t compromise – as the NRA has, repeatedly. It does not believe in “reasonable gun control.” It supports dealing firmly with criminals who use firearms to commit crimes of violence. It does not – per the Coonman – accept the idea that it is criminal to own firearms.
I strongly encourage everyone reading this – whether you live in Virginia or not – to visit the VCDL home page and consider supporting VCDL.

eric, here is an article in LRC today. It seems highly possible there will be civil war all over the US.
