Here’s the latest reader question, along with my reply!
Butch asks: On the Bill Meyer show, I was late Monday and just caught the tail end of your interview, but I did hear we need to stock up on parts. I did order drive belts for my HEMI Magnum and my Dodge diesels. What else would you suggest? Thank you! I enjoy your shows!
My reply: I’ve stocked up on oil/filters (including fuel and air) for my vehicles, as well as coolant and grease and brake pads/fluid. I also think it’s not a bad idea to buy a set of tires, even if you don’t need them right now. They’re not going to go bad if you keep them stored in a dry/dark place and a year from now you might be very glad to have them.
Basically, get ready. Or rather, make sure your vehicles are ready. Perform any necessary maintenance now – and have on hand what you’ll need to maintain them for the near (and perhaps) long term, given what’s coming our way soon.
