  1. You lose money fueling up by giving away your time. The more you make, the more it costs for you to wait for one of these “mulct you moving and sitting” vehicles. Nobody seems to realize they’re sitting at a “fueling station” losing money, especially if you make your money traveling from one customer to another.

    If people would simply research how fast Tesla’s go through power and steering parts. And if you need body work, it’s not just the matter of how much it costs in parts, for most of their cars the parts cannot be bought for the body. The body man often has to custom make part and installing it isn’t a matter of bolting it in, it often involves figuring out the best place to separate a panel that wasn’t made in parts but was made as one piece when the car was produced.

    But it’s not all bad, at least for Eloi, since those people dedicated to driving one will simply take a killing and practically giving away their damaged car and buying another new one. Now and then someone actually replaces a Tesla with a gas burning car.
