Instead of “Plenty” . . .

Communism has always failed – in terms of delivering the general abundance it once promised. The “proletariat” was told that in a communist society, everyone would have plenty rather than a few having everything.

And look where we’re headed.

The new variant of communism no longer promises general abundance. It promises general scarcity. You will own nothing – and be happy!

They literally say this.

The saying is much more honest than the bogus promises of the Five Year Plans that communists used to tell the masses would result in more rather than less. Orwell mocked this business in 1984, the story’s characters pretending to be excited about an increase in their ration of Victory Chocolate (and so on) that was always a reduction in actuality. One of the reasons for the fall of communism in the old Soviet Union was the obvious disparity between life in the Soviet Union and life outside the Soviet Union. It was acutely obvious in what was once East Berlin vs. West Berlin – which was literally next-door. East Berliners could see for themselves what communism didn’t deliver.

And they could see – in the West – an alternative to communism.

This was a big problem for communists. Not just because it gave the lie to the promises of communism, leading to sullen cynicism within communist countries, where the “proletariat” – meaning, everyone except those who ran the communist state – knew they were living a benighted existence and others weren’t, which told them that a benighted existence wasn’t the only kind of existence possible. It also presented a possibility – of escape from communism to a not-benighted place, such as what was once America.

In America, the average person could (and did) achieve a level  of material prosperity comparable to that enjoyed by the handful of people who controlled the apparatus of government in the communist states that people fled from. A house rather than an apartment – the latter often shared with others, including the one bathroom down the hall. A privately owned car; even two or three of them. An almost inconceivable abundance of food that almost anyone could afford to buy. Even the “poor” in what was America were in many ways rich, in comparison with their analogs in communist countries – where everyone was poor.

Except, of course, those who controlled the apparatus of the government.

It is why the governments of these original gangster (just the right term) communist regimes literally walled off their borders and did everything they could to prevent the “proletariat” not only from seeing what was going on in non-communist countries but also did everything they could to prevent people from leaving the “workers’ paradise” for greener pastures.

Communism did not collapse when the original gangster regimes collapsed. Communists went back to the drawing board.

In order to understand communism one must first understand that communists are interested in power; everything else is a means toward that end. The last leader of the old Soviet Union – Mikhail Gorbachev – saw the way forward, which was in fact green rather than red. Communism would no longer be marketed as the way to plenty for everybody, which everybody could see was exactly what communism didn’t lead to.

Instead, communists would openly advocate for general impoverishment, everywhere. They would – they do – tell the proletariat that material abundance and physical comfort are causing an environmental catastrophe. That the “climate” is “changing”  . . . on account of average people driving privately owned cars, heating their homes – and eating too much, especially meat. They are shamed for not living a benighted life, which is presented as the ideal kind of life.

No cost is too high for you to bear.

Not them, of course.

It is never them.

Just as Mikhail Gorbachev never shivered in the cold in a communal apartment, eating cold borscht and drinking lukewarm Victory Coffee made of chicory and sawdust. Just as the Dodderer-in-Chief (another interesting parallel, now vs. then; some will recall the senescent gerontocracy that ran the old Soviet Union) does not have to wear three threadbare sweaters in the White House, where it is always warm. Does not have to worry about fuel being available – or affordable. He has.

The idea is that we won’t.

And we are supposed to be happy about it. Glad to have done our part to prevent the “climate” from “changing” – even if  it requires us to eat “sky prawns” rather than hamburger – and live a benighted kind of life in small apartments crowded with others.

Even if it requires our deaths from starvation and cold.

This latter is no joke because it is already happening. In Europe, where the green-red sickness is greatest. And it is beginning to happen here. The people – many of them – seem to welcome it, too – having been conditioned by green-red guilt-tripping to regard freezing to death or starving to death as noble deaths, if it will “save the planet.” If it will prevent the “climate” from “changing.”

The new gangsters are much more successful than their predecessors in marketing general impoverishment – the inevitable result of communism, wherever this malignant doctrine is imposed – as a virtue. In shaming general abundance as something sinful and dangerous that must be eliminated. Which is something communism is very good at doing.

Ergo, the problem of not being able to deliver on promises of more-for-all becomes a non-problem by making less-for-all (except, of course – as always – those who control the apparatus of government) desirable.

It is brilliant. Evil is often just that.

These evil people must, of course, do one more thing in order to be secure in their success. They must not make the mistake of allowing alternatives to communism to exist. This is why America and the West, generally, are being pushed into nonexistence. Not physically. That isn’t necessary. What is essential – for communism to become general – is exactly that. There must be no place left where people aren’t living a benighted kind of life. In order to make it look like the only kind of life.

The proletariat will be conditioned not only to accept this but to welcome it – as many of them already have.

They see no incongruity in the shaming injunctions of the Doddder-in-Chief – the latter-days Brezhnev of what was formerly America – and the life of abundance and comfort he leads.

An irony of history repeating itself is that the alternative to all of this may prove to be the East. In Russia. The people there have had a 70-year-taste of what it is like to own nothing and be  very unhappy about it. And the Russians appear to be recovering their moral senses just as Americans are losing theirs.

Russia could be the new America – which was never a place as much as an idea.

One that is apparently no longer generally admired in what was once America.

  1. A Smoldering Fuse

Thirty-seven billion more dollars for Ukraine? (That’s thirty-seven thousand millions of dollars, by the way.) Bringing the total this year to a click-or-two over ninety billion (ninety-thousand millions), on top of whatever Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX company funneled through that sad-sack international money laundromat — soon to be the darkest backwater of a European failed state since Field Marshal Melchior von Hatzfeldt of Westphalia left Bohemia a corpse-strewn wasteland after the Battle of Jankau (1645).

It really doesn’t matter how much more money we pound down that rat-hole, you understand, because by the time various parties — the weapons-makers, Volodymyr Zelensky, sundry members of the US House of Representatives, the Biden family, the World Economic Forum — are finished creaming off their fair shares, poor Ukraine won’t have enough cash-on-hand to replace six fuse-boxes in Zaporizhzhia.

Against this backdrop, the USA enters a holiday season near-death spiral as unspooling scandals battle a collapsing economy for supremacy of the alt news sites. Case-in-point: the aforementioned FTX monkey business, a metastasizing tumor of the body politic.

This complex fraud will smolder for a few weeks before it explodes into an extinction-grade event for the Democratic Party. The usual suspects among the mainstream media are trying strenuously to ignore it, but the shreds of this exploding money-borg are already sticking to guilty parties far and wide across the political landscape like so much rotting flesh.

    • The first article, The Keystone of Corruption: Ukraine and the FTX Scandal, lists what it considers to be key facts about the corrupt activities of FTX:

      1. Tens of billions of U.S. dollars have been funneled to Ukraine
      2. The money was laundered through FTX
      3. The laundered money now in the form of FTX cryptocurrency was funneled back to Democrats and the Bidens

      4. All of that money is now gone and FTX is bankrupt
      5. FTX gave at least $40 million to Democrats in advance of the 2022 midterms
      6. FTX funded congressional campaigns for members overseeing the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), [oversees regulation of the cryptocurrency industry]
      7. FTX’s ex-CEO Sam Bankman-Fried aggressively lobbied the CFTC
      8. FTX is currently under investigation by the CFTC and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

      9. The investigation was opened after Bankman-Fried allegedly moved $10 billion in client assets at FTX to his trading firm Alameda Research
      10. A liquidity crisis at FTX caused the company to file for bankruptcy
      11. FTX is directly involved with and related to Ukraine
      12. In March, the Washington Post reported that Ukraine was dealing in cryptocurrency
      13. The Ukrainian government gathered more than $42 million in cryptocurrency donations
      14. Approximately a week after Ukraine gathered the cryptocurrency donations, FTX engaged with Ukraine

      15. Respective to the Russian invasion of Ukraine FTX/Sam Bankman-Fried formulated a cryptocurrency donation project in Ukraine
      16. Bankman-Fried announced that FTX would support the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and other communities in collecting cryptocurrency donations for the nation

      17. The Ukrainian government has received over $60 million in cryptocurrency donations globally
      18. Bankman-Fried cited humanitarian aid and access to global financial infrastructure as causes
      19. Bankman-Fried indicated that cryptocurrency exchanges should enforce sanctions announced by the government
      20. Bankman-Fried was the #2 donor to the Democratic party; George Soros was #1

      21. The money laundering circle was: Democrats vote to send funds to Ukraine, Ukraine invests in FTX, FTX cryptocurrency was funneled back to the same Democrats

  2. Plenty of war going on, so there’s that.

Go over to YT and listen to Colonel Douglas Macgregor’s analysis of the war in Ukraine, The calm before the storm in Ukraine. Some sobering words, you’ll listen to all 48 minutes. He states that the Ukrainian forces are getting slaughtered.

The Russians have amassed 700,000 troops, army and air forces, backed up by 300,000 combat forces, they will wait for orders.

Once they move in to Ukraine, the end of peace negotiation, Russia will continue the operation to its satisfaction.

Better to have peace than a wrecked country.

  3. Years ago, there was a Russian man that walked into the grocery store, and when he saw the abundance in the produce section (the first thing you see when walking in), he literally had to sit down in a chair by the deli (to the right of the produce section) and cry. Grown man, mind you. All-the-while, repeatedly exclaiming in disbelief, “they lied to me”. Sadly, one day, the fools (especially the younger generation) in the U.S. are going to have to learn the hard way as well, that their leaders are lying to them where Communism is concerned. Except that many (unlike this man) may not make it out alive.

  4. The hebrew wants you dead, its in their good book. Cattle deserve nothing but abuse, injections, rape and murder. When a people dont stand up and protect their own children being injected with poison….they don’t deserve to live. Wake up Whitey, you’re going to understand, real soon what the Russians and Germans went thru dealing with the synagog of satan.

  5. OT, but have y’all come into contact with any 2022 quarters? I have one that, on the back, honors one “Wilma Mankiller”, supposedly a Cherokee tribal leader from the 80s/99s. Wow. WTF? Oh, and my daughter, who is up on such things, told me “these new quarters are lighter than the old ones, with a different clink sound and metallic hue.” And it’s true. Did some interwebz research and, lo and behold, Congress authorized a change to cheaper alloys in the coins in…. 2019. So all those signs you saw during the scamdemic about a “coin shortage”, yeah, it was the absolutely about “their” planned further debasement. I tried to find links about this and found a bunch about “their” plans post 2019, as well as the technical triumphs of “syun-tists” who cheapened the metals but retained the to the eye look but none about the actual current alloys vs. the old. Not even on venerable sites like coinflation.com.

    • Before long, I expect ‘Murkin “coins” to be “minted” from metallic coated polycarbonate, or some such. Likely, you will be able the throw them in the air, in even a moderate breeze, and watch as they are blown away.

“Whatever happened to our real money?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind.”

      – with apology to Pete Seeger

      Exarcize for the student:
Complete the above lyric to reflect current reality.

      For extra credit:
Cite one example of a civilization which debased its money but did not collapse.

      Wilkommen nach Weimar.
      Translation: We are all f*ed.

      • Agreed on further debasement. They know. They planned. They took the piss with their renamed cold/flu scam (and now with their back of coin designs, btw there is another I have with a foreign language “mujer”, etc.) Bastards.

    • I noticed they changed George Washington first, then noticed they seemed a little light. I had been meaning to weigh a new one vs. an old one, to double check that.

    • > Congress authorized a change to cheaper alloys in the coins in…. 2019.

There’s not much they (or should that be (((they)))?) can do to cheapen the coins further, given that they yanked the silver out of dimes, quarters, and larger coins starting in 1965. Even the penny’s switch in 1982 from copper to copper-clad zinc is catching up with it, with the newer clad pennies having a melt value of 0.78¢ each (vs. 2.42¢ each for the older copper coins). What’s next? Steel coins, as I’ve seen from some countries? Aluminum, as East Germany used for some of its coins?

  6. I never understood the selling point of “from each his ability, to each his need.” That’s the same involuntary bargain that African slaves were given.

These fuckers literally want us to be slaves.

    • I always wondered in reference to that phrase, what if you have no ability and your needs are endless? Sounds like the perfect prescription for all the lazy bums to get welfare.

  7. “Russia could be the new America.” I’ve also been tempted to reach this conclusion, but one thing keeps me from it: Lenin’s tomb. The fact that Russias continue to venerate Lenin by keeping his corpse “alive” in that mausoleum suggests they can’t quite let go of their communist past. With the embers of communism apparently still glowing in Russia’s collective mind, what’s to keep it from flaring up again in a general conflagration?

    • RE: “what’s to keep it from flaring up again in a general conflagration?”

Isn’t that likely true about everywhere to some degree or kind?

We got the re-make of the Salem Witch Trials here.

Chile was looking kind of good a decade ago, a person could at least own guns and it seemed like it was headed in a good direction,… then it took a u-turn.

I imagine, the glowing embers you write of is hand in hand with the good & evil in every individual.

… My break is over. Something to think on.

      • 20 years ago, or less, New Zealand was a libertarian Mecca. Now not so much. One cannot depend on the latest iteration of any government. They are all for sale. Also known as whores. And the latest and greatest Johns aren’t so hot either.

      • I think you nailed it, helot, when you mentioned the “good & evil in every individual.” Human nature being what it is (mostly evil), there is no safe haven in this world from tyranny.

        • Jim,
I’m not as sure that human’s are mostly evil. Just those that assume the authority to kill you if you disobey, which all happen to be socio/psychopaths.
There is a psychopath within each of us. A partial definition of sanity is the ability to suppress that psychopath within. Those “in charge” let it run free. Not sane.
But you’re right, there is no place you can go, that has a government, that is not wide open to tyrants. Since all are founded upon assumption of authority to kill you if you disobey. Which does not attract the sane, but does attract the socio/psychopath. It’s their heart’s desire.

          • Hi John,

I’m no Jordan Peterson, but I’ll attempt some psychoanalysis, regardless:

Children are innately selfish, which manifests as entitlement. This, if not tempered by empathy – a permutation of maturity – can lead to a narcissistic, then sociopathic mentality. The book, Lord of the Flies captured this well, I think.

Children need the guidance of benevolent adults to develop empathy, which leads to a moral sensibility. I submit our current predicament is largely the result of poor parenting, resulting in emotionally-intellectually stunted young adults (and middle-aged ones, too) who have the mentality (and morality) of children. Gimme! Now! And if not given, cue the tantrum. In adults, this manifests as scheming and using people to get what is wanted – with violence ensuing if it is not given.

            • You’re right John. My wife and I were just talking about how good our kids and their peer groups turned out (young adults) so far, and how it happened. By good, I mean just very well rounded, not the ‘best’ at any one thing, but really good at life, and also helping others see through the BS. Hard to do. By chance, one of the peer groups Mom’s came up to us at the restaurant and she said the same thing, ‘these 10 +/- kids stand out big time and are on their way’. We toasted each other, ‘it had to be us?’. We mentioned ‘letting them fail, and deal with the consequences on their own’ was probably a biggie?
I know for sure that I bucked the ‘woke-lite’ system big time, and other parents fed off of it. The kids fed off of it too. It is so fun and rewarding to watch now.
We then said, ‘are there like-minded parents at the middle and high school level now? We don’t know. Are we obligated to make sure of it? I think so, but how to do it is the question. I’m thinking about it.
Of course your words and insights are amazing and true. Thank you.

            • Hello, Eric. In a note of irony, I just bought, and finished reading “Lord of the Flies”. I swore I read it many years ago, but forgot the middle parts of the novel. How ironic, in that we are repeating what has been written as “fiction”, and albeit, in the guise of school boys stranded on an island. It makes one wonder what makes humans any different than wild animals? I also watched the movie “1984”, and between the two, it makes me wish I was ninety years old…with one foot in the grave, and the other on a banana peel. As it stands, I still have a few years left in me, and whether I like it or not, may live to see how this all ends. It is like being strapped to a burning vehicle, running out-of-control at a hundred miles an hour, heading straight into a brick wall. You can see what is coming, have your seat belts on, are trying to warn everyone, but everyone else has their seatbelts unfastened, and are telling you YOU are the crazy one.

          • Your comment reminds me of the SHTF anthology novels (from the organic prepper website, via Daisy Luther). Another writer, Selco Begovich, wrote about his time surviving the Balkan civil war. His novels are good reads. He described how people-when the rule of law and order broke down-would succumb to their inner desires to be a psychopath, and do whatever they wanted. Whether that be to rob, rape, murder, etc. He said it was surprising (and sometimes not) who would do what, and who would still try to “be nice”. Once SHTF, the thin veneer that held civilization together quickly fell apart. Selco also dispelled of the “romance” that Americans often have (mind set speaking) with such a scenario, and he gives eye opening, personal experience of what can REALLY happen. Yes, you are right…and I surmise that when SHTF, it will be interesting to see who will keep their “inner psycho” in check, and who (or who will not care to) will not.

      • >Chile was looking kind of good a decade ago,

At least, the Chilean Army is looking spiff:
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adzg_iMg9Sc

BTW, the Chilean flag seems to me to resemble the Texas flag (red white & blue, with one star).

Hey, as long as the terbidium (I mean, “copper”) flows, who cares about the government?
Besides, they have really bitchen remote, high altitude locations for telescopes.
        Who could ask for more?

    • ‘The fact that Russians continue to venerate Lenin by keeping his corpse “alive” in that mausoleum suggests they can’t quite let go of their communist past.’ — Jim

Feel the same way about that ghastly marble monument to Lincoln in DeeCeeee.

A government that glorifies a president who oversaw the slaughter of half a million Americans to stop some from leaving, is telling us that it would do it again.

Zeus on his throne, modeled on the Parthenon in Athens.
Check out the fasces on the arms of the throne.

    • A valid concern for me, too.
I watch some ” life in Russia” type videos from time to time and in one video they visit a flea market and there is Lenin stuff for sale there.
      https://youtu.be/RsMmhH-5uVA
( I’m pretty sure that’s the one, I didn’t rewatch the whole thing)
Also when watching these videos one can almost immediately see the stark contrast between the cities of Russia and the US.
The Russian cities and public transport systems are clean. It’s rare to see piles of garbage or graffiti. The buildings look clean and the people are trim and well dressed. No hordes of homeless camping on the sidewalks and pooping and peeing everywhere. Who knows, maybe they are just better at hiding it?
Then compare that to the filth of the average American city.
Nick Johnson has a good channel for videos on that- it’s shocking and rather depressing.
(Not trying to promote anyone’s channel, just giving examples)

      • I’ve seen some of those Russian videos you mention. You’re correct on all counts, imho.

Soon (?) another contrast will be simply to heat a home in Winter. ?

Was watching Patara, she mentioned someone she knows in Ohio who has had their heating fuel oil go up in price, triple.

        Triple!

As she says, ~”Who can afford that?”

Here’s the video where she talks about that:

      • Hi Neena.

Russia has been rebuilding itself for the past 30-plus years. America has been deconstructing itself for the past 50. This country is now entering its terminal stage. National authority will either collapse or grow fierce beyond imagining. Were I 25 again, Russia would be on my list of places to escape to. But I’m in that weird spot of being too old to start over but young enough that I need to keep doing what I’m doing.

  8. You know what else seems like dressed-up communism? As you probably know Elon Musk took a poll on whether or not to reinstate Trump’s account stating:

    “Vox Populi, Vox Dei”

Voice of the people (is the) voice of God.

I think that is likely used to justify democracy. But here’s the thing. If you don’t believe in God, then no collection of the people (or anything is) becomes God’s voice.

If you do believe in God (as I do but not in the way most people do), that claim is somewhere in between preposterous, arrogant and/or blasphemous (depending on your brand of belief). I don’t think “blasphemous” because I don’t believe in “blasphemy”.

But it is preposterous and arrogant. Is the sum of any children’s voice the equivalent of their parents? Or… if the voice of the people is equivalent to God’s voice then that would reduce God to the average intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, etc, etc. It would also mean that God’s own voice disagrees with itself to varying degrees.

I can’t piece together “Vox Populi, Vox Dei”, no matter how I look at it. And more than anything it seems to mean that mob rule is somehow the voice of God.

Sounds like what a communist would say right before telling you what the state defines as “the voice of the people”, i..e., you all get to starve to “save” the planet. We took a vote, God says so.

    • Via Wiki:

“An early reference to the expression […]

And those people should not be listened to who keep saying the voice of the people is the voice of God, since the riotousness of the crowd is always very close to madness.”

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vox_populi

And, wow. Already there’s a citation in the Wiki bit about the Twitter stuff. That was fast.

Also of note from that Wiki bit:

“Vox Populi is referenced in the film V for Vendetta when V performs his alliterative speech for Evey.”

I attempted to do a quick search on the term, ‘Vox Dei’ by itself. I thought perhaps the ‘Dei’ part might be more precisely translated as, ‘the creator’ in which case, Musk’s line makes more sense, ‘the voice of the people, is the will of the creator …of the new Twitter’ or some such, how-freaking-evah; almost ALL the search results were links about this recent Twitter flutter, and ALL the links were about the whole phrase, “Vox Populi, Vox Dei” strung together.

The search motor I used wouldn’t let me look for what I wanted, only presented what it wanted… or seven pages limited to something like that.

Once again I’m reminded of a bit I saw online not too long ago about search engines, “What happened to the rest of the Internet?”

Sometimes, the Internet is sooo disappointing compared to what it coulda/shoulda been.

      • what they are saying is you must only listen/obey/believe what the control group at the top says….their agenda and narrative…..anything else is false/evil/misinformation/unscientific/racist/

note…the control group at the top are satanists….

        wiki is censored wef bs…

      • helot,
“And those people should not be listened to who keep saying the voice of the people is the voice of God, since the riotousness of the crowd is always very close to madness.”
For one thing, the “voice of the people” is NOT the “voice of God”. The 51% holding a gun to the heads or the 49% is hardly God like.
For another, a person can be reasonable and thoughtful. A crowd is the same as a mob, and prone to the very same insane idiotic actions. Half of them are below median intelligence.
Unless you have a benign monarch, which of course is temporary, you do not have “good government”.

      • I have to wonder if Musk was familiar with the related quote attributed to Charlemange (that you pointed out). He might be. He seems very snarky.

    • somebody said people are a communication of god….but….which god…..the elite group at the top…the control group…… are practicing satanists…

out of twenty million voters… odds are that …. less then 50% are evil/satanists or practicing hard core satanists…..

the elite group says musk is a deviant, not following their agenda….that makes him opposed to evil….

      • Does it?

I, for one, do not trust him. I will not follow him. I don’t support him. I will, however, enjoy my popcorn as he does his thing.

        • it looks like Musk is good a far higher percentage of the time then the control group and helpers…..king charles the 3rd, schwab, gates, fauci, pope, rothschild,

      • somebody said people are a communication of god….under 5 years old it is more obvious

….as people get older and get more twisted and screwed up they become their own self made man/woman, a complete twisted/bent, lying, deviant, abortion, the marxists think it is wonderful, a self made man….if you really work at it and are a practising satanist you can end up like schwab, gates, fauci,

  9. If we all have everything we need, our souls satisfied, then what use would the parasites grandios scheme be worth to us?

Nothing, it would a threat to our prosperity.

Thus the parasite MUST create artificial scarcity in order for the parasite to even get our attention. With scarcity, the free and prosperous, now have to beg to get a crumb. So the first thing the parasite can do to get control of us is to sabotage the food supply. Holodomor – ‘to kill by starvation’.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor

And it is happening again in the USA:
    https://wakethefuckupplease.com/breaking-news/food-supply-sabotage-or-shortage/

With inflation the free now have to speculate to survive, and one thing people do is lie to get on the gravy train. If you are willing to lie for the parasite, they will reward you with a fatty paycheck that allows you to be free of the welfare caste system.

By lying you get the best home, the best trophy wives, the best luxury cars, etc. And when you quit with the lie and decide to tell the truth, all of your wealth is yanked away as Kanye just learned. (Some are saying he was suicided also.)

If your corporation goes along with the lie, it gets the defense contracts. If not Donald Rumsfeld would starve your corporation for a hostile takeover. Well, how are you going to make payments on your mansion if you buck the Pentagon, it’s false flags, and it’s wars?

How do moral people buck the beast system? Buy used cars, cut your own firewood, tote your own water. Raise chickens and goats and live off the grid.

On the other hand, the survival strategy is to whoreship the beast. Pastor John Hagee says you must love Israel to get into heaven, or you can give Satanyahu 29 standing ovations like our Congress did:

    https://www.salon.com/2011/05/24/netanyahu_standing_ovations/

  10. If they, whoever they are, would just be honest, they could probably get where their going much easier and much faster. For example instead of nice sounding platitudes and euphemisms about the world being overcrowded, and the planet dying, just come right out and be honest. Say something along the lines of ‘We need true heroes, willing to play a part in saving mankind and the planet.’

They, again, whoever they are, could offer up a financial incentive for anyone willing to sacrifice themselves for the ‘Glorious Sustainable Future.’ Use all the tools at their disposal, narrative engineering, propaganda, non stop virtue signaling on social media, movies, music. I suspect many useless eaters would step up, doing their part for such a glorious green future.

Give em a shit shot where they expire in ninety days time, tell em their bodies will be recycled into food for their cats, then give them 50k to spend anyway they want, inflation adjusted you might need to up the reward to 100k. This would solve many problems, And it might alleviate some of the enmity between the filthy lucre class and those of us who want to remain free range.

PS Eric, ‘sky prawns’ along with lizards are my chickens favorite delicacy. At no time during the year do they produce as many eggs, of the highest quality than when they wander around the grounds feasting on sky prawns.

    • When I saw the phrase, ‘sky prawns’ I was like, “WTF is that?”

At first, I thought maybe it had something to do with Geoengineering.

‘Farming Sky Prawns in New Zealand’

… ““If we’d cooked 500 more, they would have eaten them,” says Rebecca De Prospo, one of the co-founders of Anteater, the company responsible for serving up the feast. “The first one is undoubtedly the hardest one, but once they tried it… well, some people ate 15 or 20.””…

      https://stories.ehf.org/farming-sky-prawns-in-new-zealand-639ad6826746

At one time, I actually thought perhaps it’s not such a bad idea. Then, I learned about chitin.

A person has to use the phrase, ‘the dangers of chitin’ to find out about it. Otherwise, if ya just type in ‘chitin’ all you get is a bunch of links about how great our overlords & their minions think it is.

      …Funny, that.

      • The sky prawns around here really do get as big as prawns, around late September/ early October they get enormous.

I thought I knew what your ‘dangers of chitin’ was, had to check to be sure.

I had my fill of chit 35 years ago in Korea and Japan. I’m still here, still kicking. Going forward, none for me thanks. But as Carlin said, ‘Murikins would eat a raccoons asshole as long as it was deep fried.’

Fried or dipped in chocolate is how they will convince most Murikins to eat chit and die

When the overlords decide its time for everyone to eat chit, I’m gonna pull a Joe from Idiocracy on them. “I already ate chit, could you just check those fills back there”

      • The insects they want us to eat have parasites, the problem is to kill the parasite you have to overheat the insects while cooking this destroys the protein in the insect being cooked, so it is not worth eating, you are better off starving….

Insects Contain A Structural Component In Their Exoskeletons Called Chitin Which is Toxic To Humans……more depopulation?

        https://www.truth11.com/untitled-467/

Tim Hortons part of RBI intl. restaurant group had a problem….the soup mix they were using had insects in it….

  11. I’m sure you guys must have heard that 6.5′ (FEET!) of snow was dumped on Buffalo, NY recently. I know that the climate change grifters blame that on “emissions” and cow farts.

If the mythical “greenhouse gasses” caused a greenhouse effect, wouldn’t that have been a bit preferable to 6.5′ of snow? When’s the last time you saw it snow inside an actual “greenhouse”? Isn’t a “greenhouse” where people create a more *suitable* and consistent environment for growing plants and food?

I don’t believe that humans can create a greenhouse effect and on purpose outside of an actual self-contained greenhouse. But, it actually might be more likely that we’re gonna have to figure that out.

        • wrong link, the temperature of a planet atmosphere is related to the density of the gases, not the composition of gases:

          https://hockeyschtick.blogspot.com/2014/05/maxwell-established-that-gravity.html

          see charts on that link

          ——————-

The Zeller-Nikolov climate finding uses official NASA data to quantify the average temperatures of the hard-surfaced satellite bodies orbiting our Sun. The formula is not applicable to the gas planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Zeller and Nikolov claim to be able to determine the long-term average temperature of Venus, Earth, Mars, Titan (a moon of Saturn), and Triton (a moon of Neptune) by using just two informational values: their distance from the Sun and their atmospheric pressure.

Zeller and Nikolov have found that the gaseous composition of atmospheres is immaterial to determining long-term average temperatures. For example, the atmosphere of Venus is composed of 96.5% carbon dioxide, while Earth’s atmosphere contains only .04% carbon dioxide, yet those vast differences are irrelevant to the mathematical calculations required to determine average temperatures. This mathematical proof tells us that even though Venus has 2,412 times more carbon dioxide than Earth measured as a percentage of its atmosphere, that CO2 has no measurable effects on its average long-term temperature. Zeller and Nikolov claim that carbon dioxide and all the other atmospheric gases only contribute to temperature by their physical mass and resultant atmospheric pressure. They point out that their predictions for planets and moons are accurate to within one degree Celsius, a confidence-inspiring finding so precise that coincidence can reasonably be ruled out.

  12. “Russia could be the new America – which was never a place as much as an idea”

Many if not most of the Communists left or were forced to leave Russia starting in the 1940’s. They mostly settled in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles. They think Communism failed in Russia because Russia is a poor country but Communism will succeed here because America is a rich country.

    • THIS, would not surprise me one bit:

“They think Communism failed in Russia because Russia is a poor country but Communism will succeed here because America is a rich country.”

  13. An elderly Russian woman ended up in my hometown, don’t know how. When she visited a grocery store for the first time, she saw how much was available, she turned around and walked out.

The wild-eyed communists, Bolshevists, tried to farm, until the equipment broke down, then it sat in the field to not move again.

Part of what I read in the Gulag Archipelago by Alex Solzhenitsyn.

When you kill all of the farmers, you end up with abundant scarcity, a dearth, not much at all. Farmers were at fault for having too much, grew too much stuff, they had to go.

Of course, you rape the farmer’s wife in front of him before he takes a bullet to the head. Then you rob and burn the farm. SOP for Bolshevists. Then all of a sudden, they ain’t got nothing and have to beg to get something.

Armand Hammer to the rescue to negotiate a wheat deal with the stupid Soviets.

Joe Biden is celebrating his 80th birthday today, November 20, wish him well.

To see Fauci or Nancy or Walensky or Biden or Bourla dangling from lamp posts would be too traumatic. Children would be horrified.

Besides, a decent hanging by the neck ’til dead is not a harsh enough penalty for those swamp creatures.

  14. ‘The new gangsters are much more successful than their predecessors in marketing general impoverishment.’ — eric

Impoverishment already is underway, as vehicle models that one might prefer are discontinued — ‘because CAFE’ — and replaced with bizarre chimeras like 4-cylinder giant trucks. Building a new EeeVeeee electric grid, with factory-sized nodes at every charging station, means crippling debt for utilities and the US fedgov — all of which WE are on the hook for.

In the 2020s, the US still exploits its global reserve currency to punish its enemies (e.g. Russia) with sanctions. The G20’s Financial Action Task Force (FATF) could be used to goad developing regions such as LatAm into climate compliance.

But Eurasia (ex Europe) — China, India, Iran, Russia and points between — is forming its own trade bloc on Mackinder’s World Island, beyond the reach of US sanctions. This will be a multi-generational project, struggling with its own internal divisions on cultural, ethnic, and religious lines. But the basic resources exist.

Meanwhile Europe, which has regarded itself as the fount of advanced civilization since the Renaissance, is withering as it cuts its energy ties with Russia. That’s the equivalent of slitting its wrists in the bathtub.

Distressed euro-peons might flee to America, except — oops! — US immigration policy overwhelming favors unskilled Third Worlders. Welcoming a European brain drain would be beneficial, but they’re just too … too … [whisper it] white, you know.

Which illustrates why America’s barking-mad Woke dictatorship probably faces the same bleak long-term future as Europe, unless the non-insane half of America can secede and prosper.

I’ve been trying to read Putin’s recent speeches, and when the Ukraine war started and I heard all the worlds govs blasting him I knew something was up. So I read his words. One speech in particular reminded me of words/thoughts of what our founding fathers would have said. I don’t remember which one, but they all are worth reading, and there are a lot more than below.

  16. The late Rush Limbaugh used to say that die hard communists disguised themselves as “environmentalists” after the fall of the Soviet Union. How right he was given what many “environmentalists” preach today but don’t actually PRACTICE themselves.

Many people who advocate communism also bleat that “It was never done right” or “The right people weren’t in charge” despite it being a FAILURE every time it was tried, and the MILLIONS of people who died under such a system just in the 20th Century. Well now, we have Klaus Schwab, who seems hell bent on instituting communism WORLDWIDE, perhaps under some belief that communism failed because it was “Never tried worldwide”.

    • If environmentalism restricted itself to truly caring for our natural resources, I would have no problem with it. However, with the secret science and questionable funding that these environmental groups possess taints the whole barrel. It turns out that many claims that environmentalists make have no basis in fact and are not based on good, honest, scientific investigation. This is why environmental scientists have to hide their data, as it does not fit their agenda. A good example of this is the so-called global warming crap, now renamed climate change. For one, the climate is always changing. The East Anglia emails in which data was purposely falsified by climate scientists comes to mind. Not only that, the climate scientists purposely installed temperature monitoring sensors in cities, contrary to manufacturers recommendations and good scientific practices, in asphalt-covered parking lots, and other heat sink areas in order to prove their (faulty) hypothesis. This is scientific dishonesty at its worst.
It turns out that the solar system is in a cooling cycle due to decreased solar activity. There are two long-term solar cycles that reinforce themselves when in phase and cancel themselves out when out-of-phase. Look up the Maunder minimum. There are no SUVs on Mars or other planets, yet they are also experiencing the same solar variability.
Environmentalism has been the method used to impose communist principles on western society, especially in the USA.
Environmentalists are not content with promoting clean water, air and land, but are hell-bent on controlling human behavior, and yes, promoting extermination plans for much of humanity as these anointed types consider mankind to be a pestilence (except for themselves) to be reduced in population by any means necessary.
Environmentalists HATE the God-given concept of private property and have imposed government-backed and enforced land use controls on private property owners without compensation, clearly an unconstitutional taking of private property. If environmentalists want to control land use, let them purchase it themselves, not by government force. Today the only method of negating government-imposed land use restrictions is shoot, shovel, and shut up.
If environmentalists had their way, the earth’s human population would be reduced by approximately 90%, with the remainder to (be forced) to live in cities, in soviet-style high rise apartments, utilizing bicycles, buses and trains for transportation. The use of automobiles and access to pristine wilderness (rural) areas would be off-limits to us mere mortals, and would only be available for these anointed environmentalists.
The endangered species act is another abuse of environmentalism. Species are always changing, to adapt to their environments-survival if the fittest. In fact, the hoopla over the spotted owl (that placed much northwest timber land off-limits to logging) turned out to be nothing but scientific misconduct and arrogance. There are virtually identical species in other parts of the northwest.
More scientific malpractice occurred when government biologists attempted to plant lynx fur in certain areas to provide an excuse for making those areas off-limits for logging or development. Fortunately, these scientists were caught, however, no punishment was imposed.
In order to promote the false religion of “global warming” aka “climate change”, NASA “scientists” purposely installed temperature sensors in city parking lots and roads contrary to good scientific principles and practices in order to “skew” the “global warming” results.
In a nutshell, today’s environmentalism IS communism like watermelon-green on the outside and red (communist) on the inside.
It is interesting to note that communist and third-world countries have the WORST environmental conditions on the planet. Instead of the USA and other developed countries spending billions to get rid of that last half-percent of pollution, it would behoove the communist countries to improve their conditions first. Here is a question for you environmentalists: Why is there a push for restrictive environmental regulations, but only on the developed first-world countries, and not the gross polluters such as India and China?

  17. Funny, there are lots of REAL environmental problems. Habitat loss, megafauna extinction, plastics, microplastics, endrocrine disruptors everywhere. The global communists care shit about that of course and focus on microscopic increases of a beneficial gas. Really is clown world / end times. Wouldn’t be so tragic if there weren’t thousands of nuclear weapons laying around that should have all been destroyed decades ago. At the root of all this is the special people and their highly paid sycophants.

    • Mark,

One problem that NOBODY, not even “environmentalists”, talked about in 2020 was the MASSIVE number of face diapers that ended up in oceans and harmed countless numbers of sea creatures. Instead, the masses were told that if they didn’t wear face diapers (that proved to not only be useless but harmful), they were being SELFISH or KILLING GRANDMA.

And now, these same people are preaching “Environmentally friendly” electric vehicles, which is about as true as “Safe and Effective COVID jabs”.

      • Yes JB, all the diapers and wortless other stuff will be choking our oceans and killing creatures for decades to come. It’s unforgivable.

      • John B,
I’ve long suspected that the entire “climate change” hoax was perpetrated to distract the Greens from the real poisoning of the planet. I wonder how much DuPont, Bayer, Monsanto, etc. contribute to the hoax?

        • John K,

That’s an interesting question. I don’t have an answer for that, but it is astounding how the federal government allows Monsanto, Bayer, Pfizer, the telecommunications industry, etc., to use products that CAN and probably DO affect human health and/ or the environment, but they wish to BAN meat eating, affordable energy, driving cars, etc., among the masses. It’s almost as if these large corporations have taken over the government agencies that purportedly regulate such industries as food, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, etc.

          • The Supra national corporations do own the Governments of the world, So they can and do whatever they want. It is a well documented phenomenon. And Johns suspicions are well founded. All the environmental NGOs hectoring us about ‘saving da earth’ would probably go tits up without the funding provided by Supra Nationals. Tax deductible to them, of course

            • John K,

The FDA and CDC have already proven to be captive agencies of the industries they purportedly regulate just with the COVID insanity. And I even read recently that the FDA approved lab grown meat from some food corporation for human consumption, undoubtedly claiming that lab grown meat is “Saaaaaaaaaaaaaafe” for human consumption.

    • Actually species are always changing, dying off and being replaced by similar species. A good example is that of the so-called “spotted owl” which successfully but fraudulently placed land “off-limits” to harvesting. It turns out that there is a virtually identical species just a few miles away. The physical appearance is slightly different but the DNA is identical.
Species are always changing–there is no stasis in any of the world ecosystems.

      • anarchyst,
Every thing on the planet is always changing, including the climate. And it will continue to do so, regardless the insanity of the Psychopaths In Charge. They wish to be Gods. They aren’t.

    • The enviroment under communism is a perfect example of the tragedy of the commons. When no one owns the land, clean land is no more valuable than polluted land. The value is completely arbitrary. Because the atmosphere isn’t owned (and possibly is unable to be owned) it also has arbitrary value. Right now the atmosphere is valued highly, at least in the developed west, but in the second world the value is whatever the state’s whim says it is. Recall Beijing shutting down internal combustion and factories during the Olympic Games, but ignoring the various carbon dioxide treaties they’ve signed. Of course the third world has no interest in clean air if it means continued poverty.

As for the nukes, they’re the only reason we haven’t had WW3 yet. If war is contained it will continue.

  18. Communism always has been a means to control the masses, sold as an equality project.

Usually enacted by force, force is required to keep it, because it goes against human nature.

Educated people should identify it immediately for the deadly project it is and send the proponents to incarceration for crimes against humanity.

    • “Communism always has been a means to control the masses, sold as an equality project.”

Yes this right there but instead the oppresors aren’t the capitalists any more although there is some of that, it’s white men and Christianity.

    • The problem is that “educated people” gravitate towards communism like a moth to a flame. These “educated people” embrace communism, making excuses for it as they declare that “communism was never properly implemented”.
“Educated people” are some of the dumbest on the planet.

    • Well, no. The Communist (and soon, the Green Movements, likewise?) have also been very successful at taking away any sense of abundance and prosperity for the average person under their predatory wings.

In the unitedstate, they’ve also been very successful at convincing the average person that the phrase Laissez-Faire is a very bad thing.

“[Laissez-Faire] was first uttered … by a French entrepreneur to the famous French finance minister and mercantilist the “Great Colbert” in response to a question of what the state can do to help the economy. (France ignored the advice, and a century later, French society was torn asunder by government intervention and hyperinflation.)

The phrase means “leave it to us” or more bluntly, “leave us alone.”…”

      https://mises.org/wire/real-solution-coming-economic-crisis

      • Always cracks me up how the corporations all sing the praises of Laissez-Faire until they get in a jam, then go crying to govco for a bailout.

  19. It boggles the mind that anthropical “climate change” is a foregone conclusion, without any specific evidence it even exists. Of course climate change does, because climate is forever changing. It was before there were people, much less being “caused” by people. Else much of the world would be covered in ice. So exactly what caused the end of the ice age? It certainly wasn’t people.
Water melons, green on the outside, red in the middle.
The masters of these morons could not care less if the climate changes. They won’t suffer from it. Not a single government official of any nation will have to do without, or even with less.

      • So why do you think these same Loony Leftist push for ” ‘common sense’ gun control ?” It’s because they want to be able to level that gun barrel at YOU or I, w/o concern that we might SHOOT BACK.

        • Doug,
Tyrants figured this out long ago. It’s much easier to load people on the train to the camp if they aren’t shooting at you.

        • “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” Chairman Mao.

He was not wrong. As long as US citizens hold on dearly to the Right to own and use guns then we will always have the ability to say “No.” At least to some measure.

          • Manse,
Even if you are unable to say “NO”, if you are armed, you can make the proposition a discouragingly expensive one. I line with Solzhenitsyn’s “what if”.

    • The energies involved in routine weather events dwarf to utter insignificance anything that man has ever created…even the highest yield thermonuclear weapons. That’s why any noticeable effects require not only certain unique circumstances, such as the frequent smog in Los Angeles, but once man quits doing whatever it was to affect even that, the “Oith” (the late Mel Blanc voicing Bugs Bunny…) gets rid of it, rather quickly. Mankind simply lacks the means to do any permanent damage to the Earth. The REVERSE is not the case, and there’s damned little we can do about it.

      • Doug,
But didn’t you know? They’re Gods, so they CAN do something about it. Just ask them.
The Sun is the most dynamic and powerful engine in the Solar system, more powerful than the rest of the system combined, and astronomically, we are parked right close to it. Who would ever think it had an effect on our climate, just because those planets parked closer are boiled dry, and those further away are frozen near solid? Besides those with a functioning brain that is.
