Yes. I think Putin has been patient enough. But can he end this dirty business without starting WW III – and being blamed for it? He could, perhaps, occupy half of Ukraine, create a DMZ and call it peace. Leave “keeeeeeeev” without resources and thus Zelensky without political support within the rump state of Ukraine.
At the end of WWIII, blame is not going to be an issue. Besides, France seems to be on the high road to that blame. If Putin had not been so accommodating, France may not be so foolishly brazen.
