AGW Murders Man For Walking Away – Then Walks Away

There are countless disturbing-to-watch videos of armed government workers brutally attacking people over essentially nothing more than having affronted the very tender feelings of an armed government worker.

Here is the most obscene one I’ve seen in some time:

A man is walking on the shoulder of the highway, apparently after having been dropped off there. He has not committed any crime. There is no reason to suspect he may have committed a crime. An armed government worker – Thomas Ellis – was apparently sicced on him because “someone called.” But it is not a crime to walk on the shoulder of a highway. Maybe the man needed a ride; maybe he needed help.

But that is not what he got.

What he got was multiple tasering, a beating – and death.

And the West Virginia armed government worker who murdered him got away with it.

The man who was killed turned out to be 45-year-old Edmond Xline,who had schizophrenia – also not a crime. He was clearly startled and baffled by the out-of-nowhere order-barking belligerence of the AGW, who began his IDF-style Dominance Kabuki almost as soon as he got out of his state-provided vehicle with his gun drawn.

“Get in front of my car and put your hands on your head! Get your hands out of your pocket! Do it Now!” – Ellis screamed at Xline, who (as the body cam video shows) is understandably confused and probably wondering why he’s being screamed at by an AGW for no legitimate reason whatsoever.

“I didn’t do anything,” he says to the armed  psychopath screaming at him as he begins to probably look for his ID on his pockets and the gym bag he’s carrying.

This only escalates the screaming and threats emanating from the apparently psychotic AGW.

“I just got dropped off,” Xline tries to explain. Which was true. And even if not, what had he done – in terms of criminality – that warranted the treatment he received before any facts had been ascertained? All the man did was balk at being treated as if he had committed a crime of some kind. What Xline failed to grasp is that hurting the feelings of an armed government worker by affronting the authority of the armed government worker can be a capital offense in what used to be America.

So when Xline tries to walk away in disgust, he had unwittingly signed his own death warrant.

The AGW attacks him like a two-legged German Shepherd, with Taser and fists. In short order, Xline is dead by the side of the road. “He’s gone,” says one of the other AGWs who arrives on scene. And then consoles rather than arrests the AGW.

“It’s all right. It’s not your fault.”

One wonders how consoling this AGW would have been had it been his father or brother or son lying dead in the road after being beaten – AGWs style this “compliance strikes” – and Tasered repeatedly for no legitimate reason whatsoever.

West Virginia’s governor – Jim Justice – publicly expressed “concern” over what the video-recording of Xline’s execution showed. A lawsuit was subsequently filed on behalf of Xline – which was eventually settled and paid for by the taxpayers of West Virginia who had nothing to do with Xline’s murder. There was an “investigation” – by the AGWs of themselves – who of course determined no crime had been committed.

They were “cleared of all criminal and administrative wrongdoing.” Ellis didn’t even get a traffic ticket. And it’s not the first time Ellis has demonstrated he ought to be in a facility rather than loose on the street with a gun and a badge:

“Exline’s death was not the first incident where Ellis pulled his gun out unnecessarily, further escalating a situation,” according to a local Fox news affiliate that covered the story. An aftermath investigation “detail(ed) three instances before Exline, including a traffic stop and two domestic disturbance calls where (Ellis) drew his weapon without any perceived threat.” 

Yet Ellis was still on the street. Armed and very dangerous.

And so Xline – who had committed no crime, a fact agreed upon by everyone involved – is dead. He would not be if he had not been treated criminally. By a criminal. But not an ordinary criminal. A criminal employed by the state, which is itself a criminal enterprise no different, fundamentally, than a gang that says “this is our turf” and “hand over your money.” That thsi criminal enterprise is called the state – or government – hardly changes the nature of the thing.

It is not difficult to appreciate the nature of the crime perpetrated by the armed government worker if one imagines anyone else having done what this AGW did.

Imagine pulling your car to a stop by the side of the road and accosting a man who is just walking along the road. Because “you got a call.” Imagine screaming orders at him and then – when he tries to walk away – you assault him physically with your fists and a deadly weapon (Tasers can and do kill). The man dies – as Xline did – from “multiple blunt force trauma,” as Xline did. The man did not approach you or threaten you in any way whatsoever; he merely tried to walk away and ward off the blows when they began to rain down.

Is there the least doubt that you would be regarded as a violent psychopath who had just committed murder – and charged with exactly that? Is there any doubt you’d have had guns drawn on you, manacles placed on you – and in due course, be sentenced to a long term in prison?

But an AGW is not you – or me. They have a license to kill, literally. No one else can legally draw a Taser – much less a gun – on a person who is just trying to get away from them. And when the AGW uses the Taser or the gun, he is held to a far moire lenient standard in that he is almost never immediately ordered to “Put your hands on your head! Do it now!” – or arrested, even in the most egregious circumstances, as in this case.

Almost always, the AGW is consoled and maybe later, after an “investigation,” he is “let go.”

Exactly.

He is allowed to go free. Maybe he has to find a new job, somewhere else. But he does not go to prison – and he does not pay in any other meaningful way for what he did to innocent people, such as Edmond Xline.

Some AGWs are baffled as to why the rest of us dislike and fear them. Maybe they ought to watch this video and let understanding dawn.

But don’t worry, there will be more BOOKS written about this (and all the other crimes going on every day), and the CONFERENCE people will keep TOURING across America to TALK about the problems. So it’ll only take another 10,000 years or so before any solutions are figured out and anything is actually DONE about all of this. We have Orange Man on record saying “take the guns, due process later”, and Harris wanting to ban “assault weapons”, and her also stating that officials have every right to enter your home and “inspect” your guns-and why not take them too, while they are at it? She wants to do that, as well. And now, we have a police force that is all-too willing to do the bidding of such “leaders”. “May you live in interesting times” takes on a whole new meaning anymore…

          Putting “two-and-two together”, there were many reasons for jews to want to eliminate JFK.         Trump said many times he would “lock her up” but when he became president, he did not, and this issue was brought up on his first day in office, and Trump said Hillary was a good public servant.

        Then we have the issue of releasing the JFK files, which Trump promised to do, but refused.

        So those are two good examples how Trump says one thing, makes campaign promises, then denies saying it or refuses actually doing what he promised to do.

        So what are we to think? Trump is playing a double game, he is clever enough to say what we want his to say but his loyalties lie elsewhere. But we always have hope, hope is the cope dope while we tread water in hell.

        Trump promises to deport all of Biden’s illegals, numbering in the tens of millions. If Trump actually rounds up 10% or even 1% of them, sends them home, I will be greatly delighted and very surprised.

        What Amerika needs is a reincarnated Hitler or Franco who talks the talk and walks the walk, and makes nationalism his priority. But Trump, the Orange buffoon Jewish put up job, IMO is not that man.

        But there is always hope which can be the greatest of self deceptions while the world crashes and burns. Trump is the earthly version of Jesus coming back to save the day. Of course, Jesus never comes back, but hope of the savior runs eternal in the abused humans on earth.

        I am just so tired of being lied at by the Deep State. America is looked upon as a beacon of light and freedom, but in reality it is just another deceptive ruse.

        Nothing has changed. Nothing will change. Our government needs their citizens ignorant and stupid. We keep lauding that we were once free. Were we? Or did our government just hide the falsehoods better? The citizens of this country (as with any country) have been presented with so much disinformation, misinformation, and noninformation can we accept anything as truth from TPTB?

        I am irritated by the continuation of blatant deceit…the lies during World War II, 9/11, the JFK files, the Plandemic, the assassination attempts, the surveillance of the American public, the Manchurian candidates, how our vote is supposed to mean something, the indoctrination, etc.

        Their contempt for the American public is so transparent and yet they don’t fear us. Why? Because they know we will do nothing. Even when the lies are called out they shrug their shoulders and laugh at us. The citizenry has dealt with this for close to a hundred years…maybe longer, and yet we are so foolish that we believe the next election is going to be the “change” to save the country. It never is, but it sure doesn’t stop the public from believing that “this time is different”. Now, I ask who is the biggest fool of them all?     Here at the house, I have a couple of decades plus of military experience. I have tools to dig in or out of natural disasters. I have extinguishers and hoses. I have a field trauma kit and bandages. I have weapons both melee and firearm. I know how to use them. I know how to trench, support and revet. I understand the fire triangle and appropriate approaches. I understand breathing, bleeding and shock. I know how to detain, restrain and control. I have done all of these at least occasionally, professionally. I’ve stood on top of a collapsing levee in a flood. I’ve fought a structure fire from inside so we could get everyone out before the fire department showed up, which only took two minutes, but people can die that fast. I’ve had structures collapse while I was working on them. I’ve been in an aircraft that had a “mechanical” on approach and had to be repaired in-flight before landing. I’ve helped control a brush fire. I’ve hauled disabled vehicles out of ditches in sub-zero weather.

    My ex wife has over a decade of service and some of the same training.

    We have trained our young adult children.

    My wife is a rancher who knows her way around a shotgun, livestock, sutures and tools, hurricanes and floods, and works in investigations professionally.

    Our current house guest is another veteran.

    This means if anything happens at the house, and last year we had a lightning strike, a tornado and a flood within 10 days’ we’re pretty well prepared.

    Now, we’re probably better off than 95% of the households out there. The level of disaster that necessitates backup varies.

    If we find it necessary to call 911, it means the party is in progress and it’s bad.

    You will probably not be going home safe at the end of your shift.

    And you know what? If it gets to that point, I really don’t give a shit. I don’t give a shit if you get smoked. I don’t give a shit if you fall under a tree. I don’t give a shit if you get shot at.

    Because at that point, I’ve done everything I can with that same circumstance, and run out of resources.

    If my concern was “you going home safe,” then I’d just fucking hunker down and die. Because I wouldn’t want that poor responder to endanger himself.

    Except, that’s what I pay taxes for, and that’s what you signed up for. Just like I signed up to walk into a potential nuke war in Germany and hold off the Soviets, and did walk into the Middle East and prepare to take fire while keeping expensive equipment functioning so our shooters could keep shooting.

    There’s not a single set of orders I got that said my primary job was to “Come home safe.” They said it was to “support the mission” or “complete the objective.” Coming home safe was the ideal outcome, but entirely secondary to “supporting” or “completing.” Nor, once that started, did I get a choice to quit. Once in, all in.

    When that 80 year old lady smells smoke or hears a noise outside her first floor bedroom in the ghetto, she doesn’t care if you go home safe, either. She’s afraid she or the kids next door won’t wake up in the morning.

    If I call, I expect your ass to show up, sober, trained, professional. I expect you to wade in with me or in place of me, and drag a child out of a hole, or out from a burning room, or actually stand up and block bullets from hitting said child, because by the time you get there, I’ll have already done all that. And there will be field dressings, chainsawed trees, buckets and empty brass scattered about.

    I don’t want to hear some drunk and confused guy squirming on the ground playing “Simon Says” terrified you so much you had to blow him away. I don’t want to hear that some random guy 35 yards away who you had no actual information on , may have reached toward his waist band. Or that “the tree might fall any moment” or that “the smoke makes it hard to see.”

    Near as I can tell, I don’t hear the smokejumpers, or the firefighters, or the disaster rescue people say such things.

    But it’s all I ever hear from the cops. If you and your five girlfriends in body armor, with rifles, are that terrified of actually risking your life for the theoretically dangerous job you volunteered for and can quit any time, then please do quit.

    You can get a job doing pest control and go home safe every night.

    Until a bunch of fucking pussies with big tattoos, small dicks, body armor and guns blow you away for minding your own business.

    Because what you’re telling me with that statement is, your only concern is cashing a check. That’s fine. But if that’s your concern, don’t pretend you’re serving the public. If you wanted to help people at risk of life, you would be a firefighter, running into buildings, dragging people out, getting scorched regularly.

    If you’re cool with writing tickets, then there’s jobs where you can do just that.

    If you want to tangle with bad guys and blow them away, fair enough. But understand: That means they get to shoot first to prove their intent, just as happens with the military these days. Our ROE these days are usually “only if fired upon and no civilians are at risk.”

    If your plan is “shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more, then if anyone is still alive try to ask questions,” and bleat, “But I was afeard fer mah lahf!” you’re absolutely no better than the thugs you claim to oppose. All you are is another combatant in a turf war I don’t care about.

    Since I know your primary concern is “being safe,” then I’ll do you the favor of not calling. Cash your welfare check, and try not to shoot me at a “courtesy” sobriety checkpoint for “twitching my eye “in a way that suggested range estimation.

    If you’re one of the vanishingly few cops who isn’t like that, then what the hell are you doing about it? If there’s going to be a lawsuit costing the city millions, isn’t it better that it be a labor suit from the union over the clown you fired, than a wrongful death suit over the poor bastard the clown shot? Both are expensive, but one has a dead victim you enabled. So how much do you actually care about that life?

    How is the training so bad that it’s not clear who is the scene commander who gives the orders?

    How is it that trigger happy bozos who, out of costume, look no different from the gangbangers you claim to oppose, get sent up front to fulfill their wish of hosing someone down because “I was afraid for my life!”?

    Why does the rot exist in your department?

    If you can’t do anything about it, why are you still in that department?

    At some point, collective guilt is a thing.

    You’ve probably not been a good cop for a long time.

    And I still don’t care if you go home safe. I care that everyone you purport to “serve and protect” goes home safe.

        Brailsford wanted to kill someone, probably to “see what it’s like”.

          I can tell you of personal experience that post traumatic stress really sucks. It is something you do not want to experience.

          • But I didn’t get a “disability pension.” I had no choice but to suck it up and play. In my case, an AGW crossed the center line and hit me head on. He died, I survived. GF at the time, who had two helicopters shot out from under her in Vietnam, told me, “You are one of us, now.” I had no idea what she was talking about, but I found out. I hope you never do.

      There are many jobs which are more dangerous than being a cop, are less glamorous, and pay much less. Trash truck drivers, for example. Highway maintenance workers, for another.

      Ever worked in traffic? I have. It is scary as hell, because motorists simply do not care if you live or if you die. If you have ever changed a tire by the side of the road, you know the feeling. So do police, who have pulled over motorists for traffic violations. In all these cases, certain death is only a few feet away.

      I once attended traffic school, which was conducted by a retired CHP officer. It was basically a four hour advanced safety training course, which I found to be extremely useful. Believe it, these guys are *extremely* safety conscious, because their lives depend upon it.

  11. Truly horrifying video, I have watched many and it turns my stomach the institutionalized evil of our society. This shouting orders at others must be examined – where in the hell did some cop get the right to yell orders at you?

    No one has any authority over anyone else, never did, never will. Government is an armed gang authoritarian cult – both churches and government schools indoctrinate the slaves to be obedient. Church and State work together to instill this brainwashing into the populace, so that they can be managed like cattle, asset stripped by taxes and inflation.

    Voting itself is the greatest evil, explained by Larken Rose, since you have no power over others under natural law, you can not give your power to a third party to lord over others. The whole idea of an election is to win so that you can force others to do your will – like force you to buy EVs because of what you believe.

    So Eric, if you vote for Trump your are taking part in this fraud called government. The correct moral position to take, IMHO, is never vote, never participate in government criminality, by never approving of it in any way. Voting is your psychic approval of the system – a huge self deception – approving of the slave system which you obviously oppose.

    The bottom line is that a society built on force is doomed, the free market is circumvented, monies are stolen to be used on war or EV subsidies, until malinvestment and war topples the system. Amerika is doomed because Jews run it and Jews have a philosophy of using force in relationships – and those ideas are found in the Holy Bible, in passage after passage “god” tells the Israelites to go smash and obliterate other tribes. By teaching war as obedience to Almighty God, those that believe go to war and kill without guilty conscience, thus giving the owners of our slave plantation great power to lord over others – which is why church is so important to state.

    It is no secret that today’s American police officers are trained in israeli “command and control” tactics, more akin to jewish genocidal operations than civilian “escalation of force” policing.

    There are ways to sever the pig’s spinal column at a particular vertebrae, making him into a paraplegic or quadriplegic.
    I will not get into methods for doing so, but such methods are easily accomplished.
    When the sorry son-of-a-bitch has to live the rest of his life from a wheelchair or hospital bed, he will be unable to commit further acts of aggression against anyone.

The waters around Haiti would be heavily patrolled to keep the jews from leaving. “Shoot on sight” orders would be the norm.
        Just think of the opportunities that jews will have. They could easily procure their slaves without issues.

      • Let’s not forget Daniel Shaver, who was shot by Mesa Arizona cop Philip Brailsford. Shaver was ordered to crawl on his stomach with his hands behind his back, impossible for any human being to do.
        Brailsford had intent, having the dust cover on his AR-15 engraved with the phrase “you’re f#cked”.
        He was acquitted by a “jury of his peers” (most likely intimidated by “the thin blue line”) and was subsequently rehired for one day so he could apply for and receive a disability pension.
        The other three cops standing around who witnessed Shaver’s murder were not charged with any crime.
        The “thin blue line” takes care of its own.

    But like idiots, this plays right into the Marxist handbook to re-make America. If these AGW’s want respect…earn it. It’s really simple, adherence to the constitution and for Christ’s sake know the bill of rights, and stop being the tax collectors for the failed city/states. Being a cop is tough job and may require some patience and knowing many people have some mental disorders and don’t handle confrontation well. So, de-escalate.

    I know there are probably 1MM police interactions in this country every week. The ones that make Youtube are the minority of these interactions. However, there are far too many that result in abuse. Every week there is another one ranging from rude, snarky AGW to full hands on, weapons drawn swatting of the American people. And it is non-discrimination abuse. Lots of white people at the business end of white cop tasers. (Although you can see some obvious discrimination against some African Americans by idiot white cops thinking being black is being armed and dangerous, therefore officer safety justifies what comes next.)

    This is a topic the uni-party and nobody wants to talk about. The Orangeman might gain more mileage with African Americans if he at least acknowledges this is going on. He should know because the Orangeman is being abused by out-of-control DA’s, judges, special prosecutors, DOJ orchestrated by the current regime. His own SS security may be working against the Orangeman to get hm assassinated.

    The average citizen needs to ready themselves for an interaction with an AGW. Get a dash cam to *prove* your innocence so AGW can’t lie about your infraction. Film it on your phone. Be polite but don’t answer their questions engineered to illicit an admission of guilt. If they order you out of your car, unfortunately Philidelphia Vs Mimms Supreme Court says you have to comply but don’t talk and don’t take their sobriety field test. Unfortunately, doing all this is no guarantee you won’t be abused and arrested. However, you’ll have a case to present.

      I’d only add that a very large percentage of those “police interactions” you mention are inherently abusive. People forced by implicit threats of murderous violence to “pull over” by an armed government worker for no legitimate reason whatsoever. The majority of traffic “offenses” are exactly that. You did something the government says is not allowed – or else. It has nothing to do with any damage done or harm caused. Just that you “offended” a statute, such as the one that says you must “buckle up” for “safety.”

      If police interactions were confined to interactions with criminals, 97 percent of us (something like that) would never have to interact with police – because we’re not criminals.

I did it for a year in a small town, there was only about 5 instances of tracking criminals like thieves and vandals, one shots fired case (dude actually shot his own finger off in his apartment cleaning his gun) plus another 7 dead person reports. The rest was all minor stuff where no one was harmed or talking down the neighborhood Karen’s stupid complaint that’s not a crime.

        • Municipal police departments are a relatively new phenomenon in the grand scheme of human civilization. This concept of law enforcement is beholden to the power structure and not to the citizenry.
          In the good old days, the sheriff was the chief law enforcement individual in the county and had broad reign in his respective jurisdiction. When the need arose, ordinary citizens were deputized and were given limited police authority at the discretion of the sheriff. This was used during emergencies when there was a need for manpower.
          Today, this has morphed into the need for permanently appointed sheriff’s deputies.
          In order for a sheriff to be elected (and re-elected) he has to have a good reputation among the citizenry. Accountability to the citizenry is a major part of the equation.
          Fast forward to today, where the chief of police in major urban areas is quite often a political hack whose allegiance is to the mayor and power structure, not the citizenry.
          This is a large part of the problem as it fosters an us vs. them attitude, where the citizenry (us) is considered to be the enemy. It gets worse, as city officials pull back their police when they should be doing just the opposite.
          The concept of qualified immunity for public officials has been expanded to the point that police departments operate with impunity and have no problem abusing their power as the prosecutors, courts, and in general the system is heavily stacked against the victim of police abuses. It is almost impossible to sue police departments for abuses committed by their personnel.
          Individual police officers cannot be sued as they are protected from lawsuits by their official immunity.
          Even with incontrovertible video and audio evidence, police are rarely convicted of crimes. Juror intimidation is a large factor in the inability to reign in the bad apples. Police unions play a large part in whitewashing criminal behavior by police.
          Immunity negates responsibility and must be abolished across the board.
          Let’s not forget the israelization of today’s police departments where escalation of force has been replaced with israeli-style command and control tactics in which immediate compliance with police commands is demanded.
          American police departments routinely send their personnel to israel for (free) training in how to handle Palestinians (oops, I mean American citizens) to see how it’s done. We are all Palestinians, now…
          Problems arise when multiple police officers bark out conflicting commands as in the case of Daniel Shaver being murdered by Mesa Arizona police officer Philip Brailsford for being unable to crawl on his stomach with his hands behind his back–impossible for any human being to do. Google it… In fact, Brailsford was rehired by his police department so that he could apply for and receive an pension. The thin blue line definitely protects it’s bad apples.
          It is long overdue to abolish municipal police departments and go back to the sheriff model of law enforcement nationwide.
          Add to that, qualified immunity must be abolished and replaced with a bond system. The basic cost of the bond would be paid by the municipality. Any surcharges would be paid by the individual police officer. Inability to procure a bond due to misconduct would result in the police officer losing his job. No bond=no job.

Cant have you walking on the side of a dark highway at night, its dangerous. The only conditions for a police car ride are being identified and being checked for weapons (unless you’re a child or very elderly)

    On a local road, I’ve had a call on a sketchy looking dude walking on the roadway. I got near him, saw he was walking on the road, approached NICELY and requested he walk on the sidewalk due to the call and gave a short NPC cop safety shpiel since he was somewhat impeding traffic that had to slow or go around him. He did so, and that was the end, he kept walking…and got 3 more calls in other towns for being a sketchy guy walking, but he wasn’t on the road after that and wasn’t stopped anymore. No ID check, paperwork, or anything. Thats how it should be. Could he be a wanted man? Sure, but people have a right not to be bothered that is more important than the one crazy you may catch.

    That said, a hand in pockets is really sketchy along with how he was fiddling with things. Acting like that puts police on edge you have a weapon. Being night on a highway the danger is that much higher. I’m sure that was the department’s main defense for the actions.

      • If it’s an interstate at least by me (doesn’t apply in all states) 625 ILCS 5/11-1007 – Illinois General Assembly, it’s a crime. As far as I’m concerned for this crime, it doesnt need to go beyond a lift offer and a verbal warning, but if the reaction is fuck off, the police here are legally justified in removing you and writing a citation, and the removing gets into that downward spiral where someone could get hurt. Should it be a crime? No, its your choice, same with seatbelts and a bunch of other stuff that shouldn’t be a crime. I think in Colorado it is not at all, so no stop would be made. Its a problem with the system and local laws. Since it is a violation here and officers wear bodycams, if it’s not done and the guy gets hit and killed later, the officer is personally liable for his death after the interaction, and could lose his job. Maybe compounded by the car that hit him crashing and killing someone else too. Regardless, it should never get to the level in the video based on the initial actions.

          • At least that’s what I was told in the academy and in training you can be held liable for some later events as a result of action you failed to take. Of course it would have to be right after your interaction but I don’t know where you are, I can only speak for Illinois. Remember its a civil matter, not a criminal one, anyone can sue anyone.

              Assuming he did have some liability as you describe, couldn’t the cop simply request that he stop and accept a ride in the back of the car off the highway? If the pedestrian refuses and gets killed later, isn’t that enough to eliminate the cops liability? After all, there’d be body cam footage of the pedestrian’s angry refusal.

  24. As a young man I tried for the Arizona Highway Patrol. Turned down because I wasn’t psychology right for them. Thank you God. They we’re right. I couldn’t have done the shit they do.

    Recently there was a big push to defund cops. Failed because crime supposedly went up and now corpgov has hired the thugs back plus thousands more. Free Florida’s Desantis hired as many of the let go cops he could.

    A tyrannical insane government has to have tyrannical insane police and military to stay in business.

    • Same here. I was only bested in the civil service exam score by those who had (bonus) veterans points.
      They used the psychologist as the “hatchet man” to eliminate those that were actually sane and had critical thinking skills.
      I was naïve to have thought they wanted decent human beings with no record, when it turns out they only sought order taking psychopaths, or those with the ability to look the other way.

      Oh well, I could have been rich and nearly retired by now, but instead I have my dignity.

  27. It’s funny. Most people would watch that video and agree that police have a problem. What to do about it is where the powers in charge see opportunity to divide and conquer. The Defund The Police™ movement was all about replacing these guys with so-called councilors for non-violent interactions like this. Take the beat cop out of it and replace him with a properly credentialed (because they’d need a degree in psychology at least and probably a masters… ah heck, just make ’em all be doctors) “Intervention Specialist” who would sit down with the guy, buy him a hot coca… yes, with marshmallows… and get him to a government sanctioned care facility for the night.

    Sure that’s all fine. Increased specialization is the hallmark of modern society. But there’s pensions to be paid out, big salaries at the top, and of course sky-high insurance premiums thanks to big payouts for the actions of the loose cannons. So who’s going to pay for all these new psychologists? Where are they going to come from, given the fact that the leftist news says there’s a serious lack of mental health providers in the country?

  28. Locally in Decatur, Alabama an AGW murdered a man whose truck was being repossessed at 2 or 3 am. The owner, Stephen Perkins, came out with a gun –who wouldn’t if you heard such sounds at 2 or 3 am– and the tow truck driver called his police buddy. And in the ensuing keystone cops chaos, Mr. Perkins was dead.

    Since Perkins was black, the whole thing turned into a bullshit racial thing. I don’t think it’d have made a difference what his skin color was.

    Last I heard was criminal charges were against the AGW were dropped but Perkins’ family was allowed to continue with a civil case. Which means, like the West Virginia incident Eric described, that Alabama taxpayers will foot the bill.
