This article is about a picture that tells us a story. The story accompanying the picture is headlined, “Trump maneuvers to outflank California over ban on gasoline cars.” But the story’s not about that. It is about what the picture wants you to think about the story.
Before you read it.
Take a look at the picture accompanying this article about the story published by Automotive News – which was once an industry trade journal that has transitioned into something else. What do you see? More finely, what do the editors at Automotive News want you to see?
Look at what appears to be coming out of the tailpipes of the idling cars depicted in the picture. Clouds of gasses! Produced by the burning of gas.
The unsaid implication couldn’t be clearer.
Trump ins “maneuvering” – implying something shady – to “outflank” the politicians and bureaucrats in California who’ve decreed that no new gas-burning cars will be legal to sell in that state come 2035. This is styled “going zero” – as in zero emissions (at the tailpipe) of the dread gas carbon dioxide that is to pollution what wearing a surgical mask is to “stopping the spread.”
Do you see?
It is bad that Trump is “maneuvering” to “outflank” this “going zero” business – and all you have to do is look at that picture to understand why. 
Of course, many people who look at that picture do not understand that what they are seeing is not clouds of pollution emanating from the tailpipes of those cars – though that is exactly what the editors at Automotive News want you to see. In order that you think what they hope you will.
That being – essentially – Orange Man Bad.
Trump is for pollution! He does not care about the “environment”!
But, wait. What you’re seeing in that picture is condensation. That is to say, water vapor being “emitted” by those cars on a cold day. The editors of Automotive News want you to see pollution. The stuff that has been almost completely eliminated from the exhaust stream of vehicles made since the late 1990s, which is 30-plus years in the rearview now.
Water vapor – and carbon dioxide – constitute the bulk of what is “emitted” by vehicles made since then and neither have anything to do with pollution, though the editors do not explain this to readers. Which is a story in itself. How is it that editors at Automotive News – a publication devoted to news about things automotive – do not know that water vapor is not a pollutant and that carbon dioxide isn’t, either? Is it that they are ignorant of these facts?
Or is it that they are lying about them?
The picture tells that story.
“The Trump administration is delivering an initial strike against California car pollution regulations compelling zero-emission vehicle sales,” the story says. An “initial strike” – implying aggression rather than corrective action. And then that bit about “car pollution regulations” to convey the impression that Trump is wanting to allow the sale of “polluting” vehicles.
As it turns out, the Automotive News story isn’t even their story. It is a reprint of a Bloomberg News story. But it’s the same story, regardless.
As it was nearly 100 years ago, in another country – when the people tired of what they called (with righteous disdain) the Lugenpresse. The lying press.

Since very few people read history, especially the REAL history of this Country, very few people are aware that there never has been a “free press” in this Country. Yes, the Constitution guarantees freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and, freedom of the press. However the real world applications of those “freedoms” isn’t always what they seem.

Early news publications, in this Country, that exposed what the “powers that be” didn’t want exposed got burned down. Think about the capital investment of running a “newspaper”: a building to work out of (a physical address), a printing press, gallons of ink, reams of (expensive) paper, lead type, and labor. That involves a LOT of capital in the form of acceptable currency or medium of exchange. In most cases that means LOANS at INTEREST from BANKS. Print something the BANK or BANKERS don’t like, and your loan either gets called in or, it isn’t extended. This “situation” of controlling the “free” press started during the time of the Civil War, also known in certain locales as The Wah of Nawthun Aggression. The greatest enemies of a free press were the Morgan and Rockefeller banks in NYC that ALSO totally manipulated the price of gold and silver to the detriment of the citizenry. Around the year 1900+/- the scumbags in charge realized that if they could get control of the 20 to 25 largest newspapers in the Country, they could effectively control the narrative. With the billions of dollars these “people” had acquired via vulture “capitalism”, they DID buy up the 25 most influential newspapers in the Country, along with the radio stations, and later the television networks.
Like the picture at the top of this article, MOST of the pictures the eekko-wakkos published showing hugely polluting “smokestacks” were total FAKES. The pictures were “doctored” to make STEAM appear to be foul toxic smoke blotting out the sun. Unfortunately, like a lot of the bullshit dumped on us, it took years to track down the sources and expose their lies.
I’m sure that the majority of the people that read this website are finally beginning to figure this out. With the exception of the “alt” news sites, what is often referred to as the Lamestream media, is for all intents an purposes the lugenpresse, or the lugenjudenpresse that does nothing more than push a “official narrative” and propaganda, and everybody has seen this right in their faces for the past 6 years. Some are still deluded unfortunately.

It turns out that many claims that environmentalists make have no basis in fact and are not based on good, honest, scientific investigation. This is why environmental scientists have to hide their data, as it does not fit their agenda.
A good example of this is the so-called global warming crap, now renamed climate change. For one, the climate is always changing. The East Anglia emails in which data was purposely falsified by climate scientists comes to mind. Not only that, the climate scientists purposely installed temperature monitoring sensors in cities, contrary to manufacturers recommendations and good scientific practices, in asphalt-covered parking lots, and other heat sink areas in order to prove their (faulty) hypothesis. This is scientific dishonesty at its worst.
It turns out that the solar system is in a cooling cycle due to decreased solar activity. There are two long-term solar cycles that reinforce themselves when in phase and cancel themselves out when out-of-phase. Look up the Maunder minimum. There are no SUVs on Mars or other planets, yet they are also experiencing the same solar variability.
Environmentalism has been the method used to impose communist principles on western society, especially in the USA.
Environmentalists are not content with promoting clean water, air and land, but are hell-bent on controlling human behavior, and yes, promoting extermination plans for much of humanity as these anointed types consider mankind to be a pestilence (except for themselves) to be reduced in population by any means necessary.
Environmentalists HATE the God-given concept of private property and have imposed government-backed and enforced land use controls on private property owners without compensation, clearly an unconstitutional taking of private property. If environmentalists want to control land use, let them purchase it themselves, not by government force. Today the only method of negating government-imposed land use restrictions is shoot, shovel, and shut up.
If environmentalists have their way, the earth’s human population will be reduced by approximately 90%, with the remainder to (be forced) to live in cities, in soviet-style high rise apartments, utilizing bicycles, buses and trains for transportation. The use of automobiles and access to pristine wilderness (rural) areas will be off-limits to us mere mortals, and would only be available for these anointed environmentalists.
The endangered species act is another abuse of environmentalism. Species are always changing, to adapt to their environments-survival if the fittest. In fact, the hoopla over the spotted owl (that placed much northwest timber land off-limits to logging) turned out to be nothing but scientific misconduct and arrogance. There are virtually identical species in other parts of the northwest.
More scientific malpractice occurred when government biologists attempted to plant lynx fur in certain areas to provide an excuse for making those areas off-limits for logging or development. Fortunately, these scientists were caught, however, no punishment was imposed.
In order to promote the false religion of “global warming” aka “climate change”, NASA “scientists” purposely installed temperature sensors in city parking lots and roads contrary to good scientific principles and practices in order to “skew” the “global warming” results.
In a nutshell, today’s environmentalism IS communism like watermelon-green on the outside and red (communist) on the inside.
It is interesting to note that communist and third-world countries have the WORST environmental conditions on the planet. Instead of the USA and other developed countries spending billions to get rid of that last half-percent of pollution, it would behoove the third-world countries to improve their conditions first. Here is a question for you environmentalists: Why is there a push for restrictive environmental regulations, but only on the developed first-world countries, and not the gross polluters such as India and China?

8. The claim that “gassed bodies” were handled immediately upon death without decontamination procedures being followed is false. It takes hours to decontaminate “gassed” victims.
9. The claim that “6 million” were exterminated is false. ICRC figures (finally released in the 1980s) show approximately 271,00 deaths from all perils in the camps is the actual population figure. In fact, more Roman Catholics perished in the camps than jews.
10. The claim that Germany used scarce resources to transport people it intended to exterminate is false. Germany was energy-poor and didn’t have the resources to move people on a mass scale just to kill them.
11. Let’s not forget “soap” and “lampshades” made from jews.
12. Electric floors and masturbation machines are but more absurdities claimed by holocaust™ promoters.

I am pro DOGE. The federal government departments should continuously be audited by a third party to determine that they are practicing due diligence in regards to taxpayer funds.
The immediate resignation of Ms. King should cast doubt that she was a good fiduciary. Gut tells me that the heads of these agencies have probably been bought off for years to keep quiet and play the game. Both political parties are guilty. I have noticed the only two people that see to be gung ho on this are Mike Lee and Rand Paul. That should tell us everything we need to know.

I think you are probably right – although my hope is that people were shell-shocked last time and needed time to really understand and come to terms with just how bad it has become. I realize I’m an optimist.
We are in the midst of a Great Awakening. In 2020, people were gullible and naïve. They didn’t know what was happening. Did some of us? Yes, about 20%. Now, rose colored glasses isn’t going to be able to hide that one’s government is stealing everything you own.
Eye opening is how governments crumble. When one realizes they have been lied to, stolen from, and cornered they have a tendency to stop contributing to the system. We are almost there.

The other thing is that spreadsheet doesn’t actually state if those demographics are actually receiving a check and if so for how much.
It just correlates the age with whether or not the database says that person is alive.

The real question of which ones get paid remains unanswered (as far as I can tell from that link and other similar blurbs I’ve read elsewhere).
In point of fact, this problem has been known for amost a decade according to the report from an audit by the Social Security Administration Office of the Inspector General (SSA OIG). In the 2023 report, from which Musk and the DOGE gleaned their information, fixing the problem was just considered too difficult. One may easily infer from this approach that the people who go to work in government jobs remain willfully incompetent. At least when I worked in the “real world”, such a response would result in unemployment.
Back in the olden times the Reader’s Digest had the “That’s Outrageous!” column. It was mostly about porkbarrel projects and bridges to nowhere. It might get a rise out of some, but that was all we ever heard of it. And inevitably the funding was attached to some bill that was required spending, or something the public wanted, so it didn’t matter.
What DOGE is finding is that most of funding requests aren’t filled out completely. Missing even the simplest description of what the funds are used for, or some of the GAAP requirements like a spending code. If any business tried to do this sort of thing the IRS would shut them down in a heartbeat. But when Uncle Sam does it, it’s just the way it’s done.
And probably every single one of those 2O million votes Donk, every single time. Thats a lot of fake ballots. Maybe why many places cant finish the count before thanksgiving.

After 20, 30, 50 years of working we apply to collect what has been stolen from us and government shrugs their shoulders and says, “none for you.” Then they have the audacity to post that the SS and MC is being bled dry and they have to cut back OUR benefits and increase OUR taxes. If I had the money that’s been stolen from me over the past 30-plus years just from SS, it would be manageable. But that money was stolen from me – and so it is not. I engaged in conversation with a woman in her 60s this weekend at a coffee shop. I learned from her that up until recently she was employed by an “aid” organization that “marketed” to young Central American females (mainly Guatemalan) to wait until they were older to have babies (i.e. have less of them) and also to provide them with “access to reproductive health care” (i.e. to kill the babies). She explained it was a difficult job because of their traditional (i.e. non-feminist) values and she had to resort to employing celebrity influencers to get them to even listen. Feigning warm interest, I asked how she got into this line of “work.” She proudly said she worked her way up to a senior marketing position with Planned Parenthood. By her physical appearance coupled with what she told me it became clear that she’s an unmarried, childless, leftist, Marxist “progressive.” Upon realizing this I could almost feel a wave of evil darkness rush past me. She then lamented that she’ll likely not be able to carry on her important work because it relies on funding from USAID. Her lamentation brought a smile as I regained hope.
