People who supported Donald Trump’s candidacy for president did so for probably five bullet point reasons and one of them was their disgust over the Biden Thing’s use of the power of the president to pardon people unjustly convicted to pardon criminals who deserved conviction, such as the Biden Thing’s loathsome son – who grifted millions by leveraging the influence he possessed due to his grifter father being the president.
And now Donald Trump has done pretty much the same.
The news broke yesterday that the new president has pardoned Trevor Milton – the EV grifter who founded Nikola, the semi-truck EV manufacturer that bilked millions from investors by tricking them into believing that Nikola was manufacturing a battery powered tractor trailer.
It turned out to be gravity powered – in that it only rolled downhill. Nevertheless, the infamous video of the device rolling – seemingly under power – served to convince the rubes and line Milton’s pockets. He was eventually convicted of fraud back in 2022 and sentenced to four years in prison – but has been free on appeal since his conviction, which makes you wonder about such “convictions.” Nikola – the company named after Tesla, the man – went bankrupt officially earlier this year.
Those are the facts.
The question is: Has justice been served by pardoning Milton? Was he unjustly persecuted? Wrongly convicted? It is hardly necessary to answer those questions. The situation is even worse than the Hunter Biden situation in that justice had run its course in Milton’s case. He’d had his day in court and the facts established his guilt. Biden pardoned his grifting son preemptively – but as guilty as he likely is, he had not been formally convicted of many of the crimes it was likely he’d have been convicted of, had he actually been tried.
But at least there is the fact that Hunter Biden is his father’s son and one can understand a father grifter pardoning his grifter son. This is not to excuse it – a different thing. But understanding it? Of course. 
It is very hard to understand why Trump would choose to pardon the Milton grifter. Did not Trump campaign, in part, on his opposition to the Green Grift? So why has he pardoned one of the worst Green Grifters? Could it have anything at all to do with the fact that his major domo – or is the other way around? – is the biggest and worst Green Grifter extant?
Has Elon’s Musk clouded the president’s judgment? This appears to be the case and it so appeared even before the news broke about the Milton pardon. Trump is all of a sudden a fan of Teslas. He publicly said he intended to buy one the other day and also referred to the device-manufacturer as a “great American car company” – never mind how much Chinesium is under the plastic, glued-on skins of these devices.
There is also the reported huge campaign contribution Milton made toward Trump’s re-election bid. But look! A Squirrel! And if you do look, its evidence of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
The Red Hats – who’ve become as deranged in their own way as the Pussy Hats – screech about TDS! As if that somehow effaced the facts. Which they’d obviously rather not discuss because they are facts. Kind of like the facts about “masks” during “COVID” – which the red hats were very much wanting to discuss back then and annoyed by the other side’s hysterical shrieking about their motives for raising questions about – and pointing out facts about – those accoutrements of mindless followership.
Well, the wheel has turned – but it seems nothing has changed.

He keeps me up to date on the transaction prices of homes on my old neighborhood, which was once a neighborhood where you could buy a single family home for $150k (I did) or a townhouse for $75k. That was in the Before Time – mid-1990s. Today those same houses approach $700k. Mind, these are nothing-special early ’70s houses built on slabs with T-111 siding. They are the “affordable” homes now in Loudoun County. This can’t be sustained.
