During “COVID” – the mass-hysteria event that was launched back in 2020 and continues to this day at a lower ebb – people were told they must “mask up” pretty much everywhere, even outdoors.

Even if they were immune – having already had “COVID.”

Natural immunity was dismissed even though it (unlike “mask” wearing) actually did work – because it wasn’t so much about “stopping the spread” as it was fomenting and normalizing sadism. Everyone had to be degraded for the sake of maintaining the mass hysteria – in order to demoralize them and wear them down and thereby make them amenable to being “vaccinated.” The latter was presented as the Great Salve that would – at last – allow them to “go back to normal” and (above all) be allowed to take off what were always referred to as their “masks.” As opposed to the or a “mask.”

This is psychologically-etymologically interesting, isn’t it?

The “mask” is yours – not a thing pushed on you by others. Of a piece with your taxes. In both cases the usage is intended to cause the mind of the person to associate himself with something imposed upon him as a kind of natural obligation that everyone has. This is not a small point of order. Meaning matters. Especially when words are used that alter the meaning of things.

Back to natural immunity.

If – as we were told – the “science” ought to be listened to, then people who had had “COVID” should have been exempted from all the kabuki, including “mask” wearing. Of course, everyone ought to have been exempted from kabuki because “masks” did not work, except as theatrical props in a dark carnival. But even assuming for the sake of discussion they did work to “stop the spread,” it was silly and cruel to demand that people who were immune to “COVID” had to keep wearing them anyhow. It was – it is – like demanding that kids who aren’t special ride the short bus so as to not hurt the feelings of the kids who are not special.

And it may be like that again – as the measles transitions into the new “COVID.”

If you’ve already had this common childhood sickness you are immune for life. But it’s a safe bet the same hysterics who demanded that everyone “mask up” during “COVID” – even if you’d had “COVID” and were thus immune to “COVID” – will demand everyone “mask up” again on account of the measles. Because it is not about the measles – just as it was not about “COVID.”

It was about propagating mass hysteria via spreading hypochondria – an obsessive, irrational dread of germs and sickness.

The years of “COVID” served to normalize hypochondria, even among the people who ought to have been the least likely to be vulnerable to this sickness – i.e., doctors and nurses. They of all people ought to have known better. But in a weird turn of the screw, many of them turned out to be the most hysterical hypochondriacs imaginable. Included among these sickness psychotics were dentists – who are doctors. Many of them demanded patients “mask up” to walk in the door and down the hall to the room where the “mask” had to come off for the dentist to work on the person’s teeth.

Just one of many signposts along the road to Insanity Land.

The fact that medical people pushed “masks” even harder than the teenager at the entrance to the store you wanted to enter says a lot about the state of the medical profession. And it’s not just a matter of the profession having become thoroughly in thrall to corporatism – i.e., under the control of a handful of “health” cartels that own the hospitals and clinics and insurance mafias – that has served to render doctors and nurses obedient workers who know better than to question what they’re told to pretend they believe.

Many of them seem to really believe it – as for example the furious nurse I described in my last report who went ballistic when she saw the unmasked parents of friends of mine by the ICU bedside of their sick daughter, who did not have “COVID” and neither did they. That did not matter to this nurse – who literally shrieked at them to “mask up” else she’d make them leave the room. This was only about a week ago. The “mandates” to “mask up” had been rescinded nearly two years prior. So the “mask” hysteria was not a cynical but comprehensible performance done to avoid any problems with the government. It was the emanation of real belief by a real hysteric who works in a hospital.

There are many others, within – and without.

When they are activated again, what will we do? Will we be compliant with the kabuki once again? Some of us no doubt will be. It is the easiest thing to do. Just the same as it is easier to hand over your lunch money to a bully every day than to say no – and stand your ground – even if it means a fight.

One that’s well worth having, if you’d rather not spend your life kowtowing to bullies – or  psychotics.

    Yes, and James Bullard, CEO of St. Louis Fed at the time, said the Federal Reserve created the crisis. I do not know if that is true, but what is true is long bond rates bottomed out and reversed course – bond rates have been going up since in waves.

    Now we have a new crisis. You are to believe the actor Orange Man is now Orange Tariff Bully, and is making war on everyone, especially China over tariffs. Yet when we examine the bond chart, once again we see we are at an important juncture, bond rates bottomed out over the weekend and then shot higher Monday and Tuesday in a violent event, huge basis point moves in just a day (which almost never happens in the boring bond trading).

    The Lügenpresse is always the last party to get a clue, when a fear campaign has lost its impact and ‘the authorities’ are obliged to pivot to a new dire threat.

    In a New York Slimes article about gas turbines for electric power plants, stenographer Rebecca F Elliott writes,

    Everything produces carbon dioxide when burned. It’s just chemistry. My furnace is burning propane as I type. But this reporterette apparently has made a career out of it, according to her bio:

    Arrrgghhhh … the stupid, it burns!

      Well, not to split hares, per Bugs Bunny, but one could burn sulfur or magnesium, for example, and no (additional) CO2 would be produced.

        Well, yes, but burning sulfur produces sulfur dioxide, which has its own problems, as we both know, being degreed chemists 🙂

        Personally, I’ll take CO2 over SO2 any day.
        CO2 is plant food, SO2 is an actual pollutant.
        Burning natural gas, CH4, or C3H8 produces only CO2 and H20.
        Burning fuel oil, as is common in the Eastern U.S., always produces at least *some* SO2, because fuel oil always has some sulfur content.

        Just a guess, but I will bet that at least some of the power for Ms. Elliott’s computer was generated by an oil fired power plant, which are common in the Eastern U.S. Not that she would know that, of course.

          This SHOULD be the case, given proper combustion, yes. A couple years ago, however, I bought one of those wall-mounted propane heaters from the Depot, and I think the regulator was bad, as when it got going, the normally bluish flames became orange and it was even putting out soot. You can bet there was some CO in that mix as well. Luckily the exhaust was directed outside, The damnedest thing. I, of course, returned that unit, and for now, use an outdoor mounted forced-air RV propane heater. It works exquisitely.

          • Well, Pilgrim, my chili roaster produces some nice tall orange flames, but that is by design. And my wood fired BBQ smoker generates smoke, if “properly’ adjusted, but that is also by design.

      Well, no, actually not. Assuming you buy into the “global warming caused by increased greenhouse gases” catechism, you at least need to know that water vapor has a much larger greenhouse effect than carbon dioxide. And every animal on the planet exhales H2O along with CO2.

      No doubt it won’t be long before we are all required to have a “breathing license” in order to be allowed the “privilege” of life. and of course, there will have to be classes of “breathing licenses,” just as there are classes of “driving licenses.” A “class C” breathing license will permit sedentary existence only, with no strenuous exertion allowed. Physically strenuous occupations, such as construction trades, will require a “class B” breathing license, while competitive athletes, whether amateur or professional, will require a “class A” license. License fees will be set accordingly. Enforcement? You don’t want to know.

      Oh, and your dog will need a breathing license, too.

After the hospital said the girl did NOT die OF Measles and the parents confirmed I read an article on Zerobrains yesterday that the White House and RFK are in a supposed disagreement on how RFK handled the one death and how it could have been handled better. Soon the morons occupying this insane country and government will be masking up and taking the covid kill shot only now labeled Measles.

  9. I don’t doubt that there are those who would LOVE to bring back the tyranny we were forced to endure during COVID. However, there seems to be something else we have to worry about. The same people who bought the BS COVID narratives likely also bought the climate change narratives hook, line, and sinker, and likely also think humans have a duty to DIE to in order to “Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave the planet from cliiiiiiiiiiiimate change”. As if the American medical system wasn’t already corrupt, now there are doctors getting paid to kill their patients to “Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave the planet”……

  10. Only in the past 5 years have I truly realized that humankind is in an information war with psyops from every angle.

    All sane humans have to realize that this war will continue for life and all of us must engage in battle every single day. Never let up. Never give up. Always stand your ground. Always call out the bullshit.

  12. Some of the worst offenders were those that had previously claimed to be for God-given Rights that then turned on those that tried to expose the fraud that was the whole experiment. Arnold “Screw Your Freedoms” Schwarzenegger comes to mind. Another is a lesser known talk-show host that fashioned himself as a rebel, akin to R.P. McMurphy, Cool Hand Luke and Then Came Bronson turned out to be a statist simp.

    Will people remember? I doubt it. People around the world have been subjected to the Prussian model of schooling that was based on creating a compliant, obedient citizenry. As such only those that were derided within that system will object. In other words, the “Cool Kids” who know how to play the system to their advantage and have become “leaders” in this system will eagerly become the authoritarians that they’ve always been. Those that weren’t accepted in The System will be the ones in rebellion. Since so many were conditioned to want to become part of this System they will willingly comply and go along with the Cool Kids, once again.

  13. One of the biggest mask absurdities was the restaurants that made people wear a mask until they got to their table, then “permitted” them to take the mask off to eat and drink.

    Another anti-scientific absurdity was the exemption for toddlers and infants. The only scenario in which a mask might be effective is when an individual uncontrollably coughs or sneezes infected, aerosolized sputum into the air. Adults generally do not do this, but infants and toddlers who have not learned to stifle themselves do it all the time. Naturally, of course, they were not going to wear masks in any event, but the “rationale” for the masks was completely undermined.

    • Those who patronized restaurants and participated in that abject degradation should be ashamed of themselves for life.

      For those who don’t know how to properly respond to such an absurd “ask” (oh how I detest the substitution of “request” for the noun-converted verb of “ask”), it goes like this:

      “Ahh, NO. If that’s a condition of spending money in your restaurant, FUCK OFF. I won’t ever patronize your restaurant again.” This is why I learned to, and still do, cut my own hair nearly five years later.

      • Amen, Mr. Liberty. I steadfastly avoided eating at restaurants during 2020-21 and for that reason established a habit that I still practice of never frequenting sit-down restaurants. Besides, the shutdowns pretty much put all the worthwhile middle class-type eateries out of business in my area. All that remain now are either the garbage McDonald’s type joints or the high-end places that cater to the well-to-do. (Proving that “Covid” was a war against the middle class more than anything else.)

          There’s no such thing as a healthy restaurant in the US. It’s all seed oil garbage.

          • I’ve noticed the food quality in most restaurants has declined significantly since covid, as the prices have doubled or tripled. We just stopped going.

      • I ate out and made them sit me down without a mask. But I will never return to Outback steakhouse since they made me wait 1.5hrs for my food.

      • I used to cut my own hair (well, more properly run a clippers to make it uniform). But for the past few years I’ve been paying my barber to basically do the same because he was one of the few who bucked the public health board and stayed open. When they threatened him he quietly let it be known to use the rear door and when that open secret got noticed he just had us text ahead. His shop was literally a COVID speak easy.
