They are back – if my area’s any indication of a national trend.

I went to Wal Mart the other day to get some cat litter and – for the first time in two years – encountered someone wearing a “mask” at every turn. At least a half dozen of them from the time I entered the store, made my way to the pet aisle to get the bag of cat litter and made my way to the checkout line. There was even a “masked” Wal Mart person near the exit – one of those people Wal Mart employs to treat every customer like a criminal by demanding to see the receipt for the items just purchased. It is my practice to look them in the eye and walk right by with my property, which is no longer the property of Wal Mart since I paid for it. I refuse to go along with this dirty business of agreeing to assume the role of presumed shoplifter until I prove I am not. Fish heads!

If they say anything, I say: If you think I stole something, call the cops. If you put your hands on me, I will defend myself. This is rarely necessary. As with the “mask” enforcers, just ignoring them is almost effective – and perfectly safe.

Anyhow, I was startled – but not really surprised – to see so many people wearing the Cloth of Idiocy given just how obviously idiotic it is. Given how much time has passed. You’d think that by now it would have finally percolated upward into the conscious awareness of everyone not actually a literal moron – i.e., someone with an IQ of 70 or less – that wearing a “mask” to ward off colds is as silly as a grown adult wearing a Spiderman costume and actually believing he is Spiderman. Most children who wear Spiderman costumes on Halloween know they are not actually Spiderman and that they are just having fun pretending they are.

The people I saw in Wal Mart weren’t pretending. Their belief is as real as the belief held by the Heaven’s Gate cultists – remember them? – that by donning special sneakers and eating some pudding laced with narcotics sufficient to put their “containers” to sleep forever, their spirit selves would ascend into the heavens to board the spaceship traveling in the wake of the Hale Bopp comet. If you could have spoken with one of these people, you would have believed how truly and seriously they believed. Nothing you could have said to them would have persuaded them that they were in a cult led by an insane freak who was leading them to their deaths.

It is very much the same with the people you see wearing “masks.” Think how immune to facts – to what’s right in front of their lying eyes – a person who wears a “mask” has to be. They can see pretty much everyone else walking around without one and not collapsing from contagion. The bodies are not stacking up now – just as they weren’t five years ago, either.

You’d think by now they’d see that.

But that’s exactly the problem. These people you see wearing “masks” aren’t thinking. They may not be capable of it. At the very least, there has to be something wrong with their thinking. Else they would not still be wearing “masks.”

But they do wear them. And it appears that more of them are doing so all of a sudden. In my area, at least.

For the past two years, I’d see a “masker” – usually no more than one or two – pretty much every time I went into the supermarket (Kroger) and even at my gym, which is especially astounding (it is like encountering vegetarians at the butcher shop). But only just one or maybe two and almost always they were very old and sad looking. Members of the generation that still watch the “news” as purveyed by CBS, NBC and CNN.

But now I’m seeing more “maskers” – and more variety of “maskers.” They are no longer just the occasional sad-looking old person. I see middle aged and even young people wearing “masks” again. The girl at the checkout kiosk looked to be college-aged. And maybe that’s why she was “masked up” – having been to college, where such idiocies are taught nowadays.

What I am seeing is both depressing as a sign of the times and discouraging as a sign of what may be coming.

It is evident, based on what I am seeing, that a lot of people are still believers. How many are still followers?

We may soon see.

    Hey, Donald, GFY.

I bought a sundial so I know what time it is, useless to use a clock in today’s world.

Just kidding, I do have a Fresnel lens, they’re cool. A tree is a sundial.

    • Hi Expat,

When I was younger, I would have considered expat’ing. But now I’ll just stand my ground and await what happens. Foolish? Perhaps. But it irritates me to be pushed out of my country – to give it all away – to avoid giving them everything. Let them come take it. It won’t be free.

  4. “one of those people Wal Mart employs to treat every customer like a criminal by demanding to see the receipt for the items just purchased”

This is why I refuse to fly. I do not give up my rights against search and seizure just because I bought a airline ticket. F the TSA.

Once I was working overnight shift on Thanksgiving and went to WalMart in the morning for black friday sales. Bought one item – a DVD player.

Guy at the end of the checkout line I was in wanted to see my receipt. I told him that he just watched me purchase it and walked to the door.

He started yelling to an assistant manager that I refused to show him my receipt, who then asked me to see it and got in my way.

I told him the guy yelling watched me buy it and asked if he was accusing me of shoplifting.

He got on the radio to tattle on me and was told to let me go. Good for him because I was prepared to push him out to the parking lot if he wasn’t going to move, then have him arrested for attempted kidnapping if he called the cops.

  5. I see masked individuals here-and-there in these parts. What really cracks me up is when I see the lone driver with his/her mask on….with no one else in the vehicle with him! However, with Mt. Spur possibly getting ready to erupt, that may be the one time a mask would prove useful.

  6. Yet, like those who fucked kids on Epstein Island, the midget quack who stood at the helm of diaper requirements walks freely among us.

  7. Eric,

One possible reason you’re seeing more people “masking up” is the blatant fear mongering campaign that corporate media is already trying to run over MEASLES. They try to make people think that 2 children in Texas “died from measles” BECAUSE they were “unvaccinated”, but if one looks more closely at what actually happened, those children died NOT from measles, but from improper treatments at a particular hospital. Does that rhyme with something sane adults have been forced to endure just a few years ago?

    • Hi John,
Seems like the MSM attempts to equate measles with Ebola is falling short. The hysteria over a few dozen “cases” here and there just isn’t getting any traction; maybe enough people realize that out of 300 million people that number amounts to diddly-squat, same as the percentage of the dreaded CO2. Most people of my age had measles, mumps, chickenpox as kids and somehow survived, probably much to the disappointment of Pfizer, et al.

      • Hi Mike,

Here’s something else. I don’t know if you already heard, but there was a study recently involving flu shots, and it indicated that people who took a flu vaccine were 27% MORE likely to get the flu. Someone theorized that Big Pharma may take that as an excuse to make mRNA flu vaccines. The local “health department” where I live is running PSAs recommending that adults & children be “Up-to-date on vaccinations”, INCLUDING flu & COVID, which to me makes their PSAs sound like they were “Sponsored by Pfizer”.

  8. The difference between the mask tards and the Heaven’s Gate cult is that one is definitely made up of crazy people and the other had a virtually infinitesimal chance of ascending to that comet. I doubt it worked out like they planned but that’s just me.

Perhaps we should encourage those mask tards to join the Heaven’s Gate cult. If they fell for one cult they might fall for another thereby solving all our problems.

Until then cough loudly in their presence and keep a small mister handy to wet your forehead whilst asking them if a 107 degree fever is a bad thing.

    • Hi Landru,

It seems to me that most if not all people who still wear face diapers everywhere are the same people who belieeeeeeeeeeeeve the BS narratives involving climate change and probably think that by wearing face diapers they’re “Stopping the spread of CO2”.

    • Landru, that’s exactly what they ARE doing, conditioning the herd for a great culling, where the feeble minded will self destruct. I turned anti vax in the early 80s as a young adult, even before the internet it had become obvious they were pushing solutions for which there was no problem, and that the solution was worse than the alleged problem.

These people believe themselves gods, and believe fervently in their right and responsibility to rule and manage the lowly. Nothing new in 4000 years.

  9. Symbols of party allegiance.

If you want to have some fun, try wearing one on your arm for a while and walking into the same places.

We saw masks everywhere in Commiefornia last week, mostly Palm Spring.

This included the Palm Springs Tramway which takes riders up to 8500 ft. I was strugging to catch my breath at first *without* a mask.

    • If I understand what you’re saying Roscoe is that if the face diaper could keep you safe from the plaque it might prevent tennis elbow if you keep it on your arm. Kinda like faith healing but without the televangelist.

    • Great idea Roscoe. Wearing one as an armband could be fun at the store. Anytime you see someone improperly displaying the vestment, for example, looped over their ear, or on their chin, you walk up and in perfect Thomas Dolby voice shout $CIENCE in their face.

As an enforcer of course we would not wear them on our faces, only insure the plebes wore theirs. For fun I might just get one with a Zionist flag on it. The whole armband thing might cause some sploody heads.

      • It could be fun to put a swastika on one, but you’ll likely be attacked by a crowd of the “good” people. It might be sneakier to pur SS runes on it, and if accosted by rabid kooks to weasel out that you’re just a Chevy fan…

  10. No one will ever convince me that Trump’s initiation of the trade war against China in 2018 wasn’t the immediate cause of the Covid war. You cannot beat China at their own game; they have the wisdom and experience of millennia–more particularly the diabolical wisdom that accompanies communism–and that orange buffoon will utterly fail in his latest attempt at provoking them.

China’s response to the last round of tariffs was to launch the phony Covid panic, which began when they sent videos of Chinese people purportedly dropping dead in the streets of China, presumably from Covid. The U.S. media duly showered America with these images, with the predictable result of stoking an orgy of fear. (Trump himself later admitted that these fake videos influenced his decision to declare a national emergency over Covid in 2020.)

Fast forward to 2025 and the Orange Fail is at it once again, declaring a national emergency over a non-problem, collapsing the financial markets and raising the ire of China. One can’t help wondering if the CCP’s response will be to launch another scamdemic…and maybe that’s why people are starting to mask up again. It’s as if they’re instinctively recognizing the rinse-and-repeat pattern from the last time the same series of events took place.

    • Respectfully, Jason, I disagree.

The COVID panic was created by China, but it wasn’t because of Trump’s tariffs. It was because of the September 2019 crash of the Repo Market. China is facing the same demons that Japan did…too much build up in too short of a time. They invested too quickly, grew too fast, and they have now been sitting in a recession for the last 5 years. Their real estate market is in a depression. China won’t cave, but they will starve and then they will hide the bodies like nothing ever happened. Mao killed 50 million of his own people. Only a fool would think that Xi would not do the same to save face. His legacy requires it.

      • With regard to COVID, we should also look at Tony Fauci, Eco Health Alliance, and EHA’s now fmr President, Peter Daszak, and any funding they gave to that lab in China. By the way, just days before Trump’s first term as President began, Fauci said that (paraphrasing) “The incoming administration will undoubtedly see a pandemic in the next few years”. Looking back at the past several years and things the U.S. government has been doing since the start of the 21st century, I can’t help but think that the whole COVID thing was planned well in advance to get people clamoring for something along the lines of a medical surveillance state if they were promised it would keep them “Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafe”.

        • Hi John,

I think Event 201 was the dead giveaway.

Be on the lookout for any new upcoming event schedules to provide a clue on what they are “planning” for next.

          • Hi RG,

I don’t know if you remember vaccine shill Peter Hotez all but promising in an interview with corporate media that there would be all sorts of outbreaks right after Trump got back into the White House, even going so far as to blame it on Anti-vaxxers.

            • Hi John,

I do, but I just don’t believe him.

It goes back to the adage: Never play the same game twice. People catch on and the experience is nowhere near as memorable.

That is why the Avian Flu and the Measles “epidemic” isn’t producing the desired results except the constant anger of overpriced eggs.

              • Corporate media has also been trying to frighten people over bird flu. Under the Biden regime, if even ONE chicken on a farm “tested positive for bird flu”, ALL the other chickens were to be slaughtered, which should have p!$$Ed off self-proclaimed animal rights activists, but I haven’t seen them raise a peep. Not sure if that kind of demented mentality is still going on under the Trump 2.0 administration, but could you imagine what the response would have been if, during COVID hysteria, government decreed that ALL humans who were around people who “tested positive for COVID” were to be slaughtered?

            • Hi Expat,

Some will, but I hope that a few are a bit wiser.

How are things in the Dominican Republic? Still surviving on guava fruit and sunshine? 😁

    • Arguably, the images from Italy of the weird oxygen … “hoods” … and other bizarre, substandard respiratory therapy gear worn by some EU patients in the early days of the panic did a lot more to stoke fear in the US than pictures of dead Chinese people.

Italy and the EU are supposed to be the “first world”.
