I take them to be offended that you are telling them they are too slow.
Well, they are, which is why they get passed.
Some version of my opinion is always right and if you don’t agree then you are an immoral satan worshiper.
WA state checking in. Yes, the speed up when you go to pass very common.
Two others – a two lane road, slowpoke doing 42 in a 50. Road opens up to four lanes, they then decide to speed up to 55 plus in said 50 zone as you try to pass them, you’re forced to do this pass on the right lane as the moron won’t move over.
Next is the left laner doing a reasonable clip then when approaching a semi that’s in the right lane, slows down to match the semi truck speed and this is not unusual here.
Today I had to do another pass via the center turn lane as Captain Obtuse was doing 28 in the 35. I’ll probably get a reckless driving ticket one of these days.
Almost can’t pull out of my driveway without my Tourettes kicking in.
It is ridiculous how careless, selfish and rude so many drivers are today!
If I have learned anything in this life it is this..
Where there are people.. there are problems.
Just last sunday I move out to the left lane on an interstate to pass a middle lane squatter. The squatter slowly matched my speed. I want get out of the left lane. So I punch it and the squatter punches it. I decide I don’t want to risk jail time just to pass this fool due to the speed it’s going to require so I throttle lift. I fall in behind the squatter who then of course slows down.
People are getting worse and worse and worse. I don’t even go out now sometimes just because I don’t want to deal with the people on the roads.
