A Picture’s Worth 1,000 Words

The other day, the Thing that’s trying to push us out of cars Tweeted (loathsome term suggestive of a giggling and none-too-bright 12-year-old girl) a photo of himself in his classic Corvette with the caption: Get in, folks. We’re building a better America.

Of a piece with the Thing’s insistence, a year ago, that those who took the drugs he pushes “aren’t going to get” COVID “if you have these vaccinations.” And that they are “95 percent effective.”

A much better America existed in 1967, the year Chevrolet built Biden’s Corvette. That year, Chevy built cars to meet the demands of the market, the people who put up their own money to buy what was built – and were free not to. As opposed to this year – when the entire car industry has been Sovietized and builds what government apparatchiks tell them to. And people are cattled-prodded into buying them – and made to subsidize them, even if they don’t buy them.

In ’67, Chevy was free to put styling – and it was some styling – ahead of “safety,” that cultish fixation on zero risk at whatever cost. In fact, it is just the excuse – as the “pandemic” was merely the excuse used to further objectives that had nothing to do with “health.”

It was possible, in that better time, to fit delicate but beatiful bumperettes to the Corvette. To put form ahead of function. Because it looked good – and that was all that mattered. If you didn’t like it, you were free to not buy it. To buy a “safer” – uglier – car, such as a Volvo, for instance.

A few years alter, the government would “mandate” that every new car be fitted with battering ram bumpers that Ugly Betty’d all of them.

These “5 MPH” bumpers were also heavy, adding several hundred pounds of deadweight to the car. That cost you every time you drove the car, which now used more gas – as well as more brakes (and tires) due to the increased kinetic energy and friction attending slowing it all down. Acceleration also suffered, as heavier cars are slower cars unless power is added to offset the weight – which results in more gas being burned, etc.

Oceans of fuel have been actually wasted over the decades; brake pads and tires, too.  As opposed to the hyopthetical “safety” advantage of having several hundred pounds of deadweight hanging off the front and rear ends of all new cars, most of which were never in a major wreck where the ugly (and heavy) battering rams would maybe have made a difference.

Biden got to choose – a choice he and his insist we not be permitted to make for ourselves.

It’s what Things do.

Chevy was able to design Biden’s Corvette with a carburetor – a simple fuel-mixing device that relied on no electronics to control it and which anyone with a screwdriver and basic tool set could tune and adjust himself. It had no catalytic converters or air bags – two of many reasons why this car and others like it were desirable then and very collectible now.

Joe clearly loves driving around in his carbureted, V8-powered, emissions-uncontrolled car, irrespective of its “carbon footprint.” He just doesn’t want you to do that. It is an elaboration of Leona Helmsley’s dictum that “only the little people” pay taxes.

Biden’s Corvette has low-back bucket seats without visibility-obscuring headrests, also mandated for “safety.” Joe can also rest his withered arm on the top of the door, because – in that better America – Chevy was not obliged to build up a structural steel bathtub around the occupants, as car-makers are these days.

Biden’s Corvette has wing-vent windows, which keep the car cool without need of AC. Or the cost of AC. This was  common – in the better America that Biden has helped to un-build – because in those days it wasn’t cost-prohibitive for the the car companies to build cars a la carte. You picked from a menu of options – as opposed to a few “bundles” of “packages,” most of them just electronic gewgwas.

Cars were not one-size-fits-all nack in ’67, as they mostly are today. Because it was not necessary, in those days, to build each car exactly alike insofar as how it tested on government  . . . tests. Adding (or deleting) AC adds (or subtracts) load and that can affect mileage and emissions, two things that weren’t issues in 1967.

That is one reason why all new vehicles have AC – and do not have wing-vent windows.

It is because of people like Biden that cars such as Biden’s are no longer available. Haven’t been available – for decades. 1973 was the last year one could buy a new car without apparatchik-mandated “5 MPH” bumpers. It wasn’t too much loger before the same apparatchiks mandated that all new cars be fitted with “passive” safety systems which at first meant those hateful automatic seat belts that wrapped around you as soon as you sat down and shortly thereafter meant air bags in every new car. It is because of air bags that new cars no longer offer the intricate/distinctive steering wheel designs that were – once – the centerpiece of cars such as Biden’s Corvette.

The Joker-leering Thing behind the wheel is unconcerned, for he has his and that is all that matters to Things such as this.

EeeeeeeVeeeeees for us. All the same, per the Things. Who drive what we’re told we mustn’t and soon won’t be allowed to.

  1. Electric vehicles in their present state are “not ready for prime time” and are being “pushed” on an unsuspecting, largely unknowledgeable, gullible public by insane government edict.

From a scientific and technical standpoint, today’s electric vehicles are “playthings for the rich”.

From a political standpoint, the elites HATE the masses as the “elites” HATE the fact that today’s ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles allow the masses (us) to go where they (we) want, when they (we) want at any time with few, if little restrictions. Unrestricted mobility for the masses is something that the elites HATE. It’s about CONTROL. It’s ALWAYS about CONTROL.

Let’s look at the technical side of electric vehicles vs. ICE vehicles. Range is a large factor in the desirability of ICE vehicles vs. today’s electric vehicles. One can fuel up an ICE vehicle from nearly empty in approximately five minutes and be on his way.

Not so for electric vehicles. Quite often electric vehicle charging stations are few and far between, which contributes to “range anxiety”. The situation will improve as time goes on, but in today’s world, electric vehicles are impractical. For short hops and city driving, electric vehicles can be an ideal solution, but for extended “road trips” forget it. In fact, a recent coast-to-coast “road trip” by a journalist team touting the “efficiency” of electric vehicles took multiple days and 22 stops just for charging.

Electric vehicle batteries lose power even when the vehicle is not in use. Add to that, cold weather and the use of accessories (air conditioning, lights, etc) will reduce range considerably. Electric vehicles may be somewhat suitable for a California climate, but will fail in sub-zero Michigan winter snow and ice.

Batteries can be charged only to 80% of full capacity as overcharging will reduce battery life considerably. “Fast charging” is also detrimental to battery life. It’s all about time and convenience vs. battery life.

Gasoline and diesel fuel has an large energy content (high energy density) in a small package, something that, in their present stages of development, electrical vehicles cannot achieve.

Let’s make a comparison…gasoline contains approximately 33.7 kwh per gallon. A gallon of gasoline weighs approximately 6.1 lbs. The typical ICE vehicle can hold about 15 gallons of gasoline with a weight of approximately 90 lbs. total, with a total energy content of approximately 500 kwh.

High-end electric vehicles have an energy capacity of approximately 120 kwh. This is equal to less than 4 gallons of gasoline. The typical electric vehicle has a 75 kwh battery pack, equivalent to approximately 2 ½ gallons of gasoline.

Keep in mind that in many electric vehicles, the battery pack weight is well over 2000 lbs (1 ton) and still has a limited energy capacity compared to gasoline. The typical electric vehicles weighs approximately 2 ½ tons (5000 lbs.), having to haul around a heavy battery pack. This also contributes to “wear and tear” on other automotive systems such as brakes and tires. (Yes, I am aware that regenerative braking exists and is a part of electric vehicle technology).

From an environmental standpoint, lithium is nasty stuff, reacts with water violently and is much more volatile than gasoline. Electric vehicle accidents are much more hazardous than those of ICE vehicles. Water cannot be used to put out a lithium battery pack fire.

Yes, gasoline is dangerous, but we have learned to control it and live with it for over 100 years successfully.

Oil, being “abiotic”, and NOT a “fossil fuel” is a renewable resource, constantly being created by yet-unknown process within the earth. The term “fossil fuel” was coined as not much was known about the processes by which oil is produced. Russian oil interests have been drilling for oil at extreme depths well below the “layers” where “fossils” were known to exist and coming up with oil deposits. In fact, deep oil well drilling was a Russian “state secret” for a long time. Abiotic oil blows the lid off the “peak oil” and environmentalists claims that oil is a finite resource. Follow the money…

There may come a time with battery technology “breakthroughs” but just not now.

Governments should never “push” unproven technologies.

  2. building back better…snearing at you from his ice sports car…………..

in brandon’s world there is no freedom of speech……..

brandon and the glabalist/communist/leftists are working with paypal, if he thinks you are spreading misinformation, you are fined $2500 or paypal is freezing the account, holding your money in balance indefinitely

Shares in PayPal are off more than 6% (or around $5BN in market cap) in early Monday trading after a massive internet campaign to cancel accounts went viral in response to the company’s policy that would fine users $2,500 or holding their money in balance indefinitely, if they were to allegedly promote “misinformation” or “hate.”

close your account before brandon steals all your money….lol….he freezes bank accounts too, soon……..get your money out of those accounts also….

Klaus schwab recently said in no uncertain terms that CEO’s and Boards of major companies will do WEF bidding or be replaced.

  3. ‘the Thing that’s trying to push us out of cars’ — eric

Among many such Things trying to push us out of our cars is rich toff Jennifer Grancio (ex BlackRock), whose dissident group won three seats on the ExxonMobil board. Their poisonous ESG objective is shut down all further investment in ‘fossil’ fuels.

    Here’s plutocratic Jennifer on EeeVees:

‘I’m looking forward to reading that battery electric vehicles have taken over internal combustion engines and, more to the point, I think in five years when we look at the best, hottest, most fun cars of the year, they’re going to be battery electric. We will be on the other side of this transition.’

    https://archive.ph/YqvS6#selection-2713.1-2713.302

    What’s this ‘we’ shit, Jenny?

Fact is, I projectile vomit in your general direction.

Now get on your hands and knees and clean it up, bitch.

    • Klaus schwab recently said in no uncertain terms that CEO’s and Boards of major companies will do WEF bidding or be replaced.

    • The FED is run by the banksters. The banksters also operate BlackRock and other deep state investment ETF’s. They use these ETF’s to take over majority stock positions in key companies and then install BOD members that follow their instructions. That’s how you see companies all of a sudden adopting “woke” agendas and giving money to the likes of BLM, etc. It’s a top down strategy by the Deep state and has been going on for decades.

  4. Decrepit Joe shouldn’t be anywhere near a corvette. He was driving one back in the day when courting his second wife. The problem was the corvette belonged to his second wife’s husband while Joe was still married to his first wife and got caught because he was involved in a minor wreck with it while driving it. Now that he is driving the nation into a massive head on collision with his courtesan by his side. She spoon feeds him and changes his depends in exchange for title of First “ Lady”.

  5. The thing looks like they photoshopped from his Jay Leno episode, why not take an image of him from the EV(s) he has sat in. I think this is his inept hipster messaging team trying to project how ironicly cool the desiccated kiddie sniffer is.

  6. Sleepy Joe, I find some things wrong with that statement, “We’re building a better America.”

First, it seems we can’t even maintain the America we have. Just this past winter, not far from me in Pittsburgh, a bridge just collapsed out of nowhere. (Well, not really. A major support beam was completely rusted through and a “band aid” fix was made instead of replacing the beam.) Before that, a sinkhole opened right in the middle of a downtown street. Over in Commiefornia, 100-year-old electrical wires start a forest fire, and the streets of LA and San Francisco are knee deep in human waste and garbage.

Next, what exactly do you mean by “better?” Specifically, better in what way? I’ve thought about this for a long time, and your idea of “better” and mine really differ. Your idea of “better” means curtailing, not expanding, freedoms; decreasing, not increasing, our standard of living and quality of life; and shunning, not embracing, technology. Your idea of “better” means higher taxes, more burdensome regulation, more intrusive and expansive government, more unproductive litigation and other obstructionism and NIMBY-ism, and focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion at the expense of merit.

Finally, who is it “better” for? I’m sure it will be better for your cronies and favored special interest groups. I’m sure it will be better for China. I’m sure it will be better for the professional grievance industry. I’m sure it will be better for the PC Posse. But the rest of us? Not really.

    Just something to think about.

    • it has beenreported years ago that general revenues were being used to help pay government pensions (municipal, provincial etc…)………Politicians give/promise government workers’ (and themselves), huge, gold plated, defined benefit, pensions, (this insures loyalty to their mandate/narrative), they are unfunded, …so money goes to their pensions and bike lanes, no money to fix the roads or housing for the homeless…nice people….lol

(this insures loyalty to their mandate/narrative), this is why it is hard to make changes, it is hard to get rid of a politician that has power with a central bank that can print money.

government pension plans get the first lien on any tax revenues. Pensions get paid 100% before a single dollar goes to schools, police or any other gov service.

this sounds like the old soviet system…..
there is two classes of citizens, the non government retired people that receive on average about $30,000 per year? or less, from their government pension, which barely covers rent and food, …….. retired government workers get $60,000 to $400,000 per year or more with their definded benefit pension.
In Norway when you turn 60 everyone gets $60,000 U.S. ($82,800 can.) pension,

How Public Pensions Turn Cities Into Unlivable Hellholes

public pension funds are grossly underfunded. Consequently, more and more pension funds are borrowing money to play the markets. The goal is to boost returns to cover their massive funding gaps.

With the markets crashing now, Sept. 2022, this is a huge problem, that is getting way worse now, no politician will talk about, or has an answer for it.

pension funds can attempt to fill their funding gaps by requesting increases in yearly contributions from governments and workers. But the public-employee unions go full ape when such measures are proposed. So the remaining option is to take on greater risk. What could go wrong?

According to a Municipal Market Analytics analysis of Bloomberg data, more than 100 city, county, state, and other governments borrowed for their pension funds last year. This is twice the highest number that did so in any prior year.

Standing behind these pension funds are state (provincial, federal) and local taxpayers – that’s you, acting as the ATM. Moreover, when the investment returns of public pension funds fall short, governments are primarily responsible for filling the void. This means cutting other spending and services or increasing taxes.

Covering pension fund obligations is a massive drag on state (provincial) and local government finances. The fact is, there’s a legion of public workers out there who’ve been promised a retirement that’s no longer affordable.

These grand promises must be broken.

You can witness the effects when traversing through just about every city in America (or canada) that has been in existence for more than 60 years. By repeatedly reallocating spending from much needed services, the present and future conditions of cities and municipalities are being transformed to unlivable hellholes.

Your neighbor, who retired from the city over 25 years ago, may frequently lament the shoddy conditions of the streets and sidewalks. He may bemoan the lack of resources to address burgeoning homeless encampments and the mobs of mentally ill zombies flailing about on the tired asphalt. All the taxes went to pay his pension…lol..

An audit showing where all the taxpayer’s money went would be nice….lol

in 1998 they knew the math didn’t work to fund pension plans, wouldn’t be able to pay the pensions.

  7. ‘The Joker-leering Thing behind the wheel is unconcerned, for he has his’ — eric

Yes, our elitist rulers are doing rather well, thank you. Today, the cherry on the sundae comes with news that ex-Fed chair Ben Bernanke has won the Nobel prize in economics.

Dollar Ben, you’ll recall, is the apparatchik who invented Quantitative Easing (QE) — that is, deliberately monetizing Treasury and mortgage bonds to the tune of trillions, Zimbabwe-style.

Now that QE has come a cropper with runaway inflation — prompting its total repudiation and reversal under QT (Quantitative Tightening) — the eclownomists who award the prize are all misty-eyed for the good old days under gentle Ben and his ‘Fed put’ perpetually propping the market.

Man … I need a freakin’ gig where I can wreck the world, then get called to Stockholm to get a medal pinned on my chest … then chug champagne, grapple with the groupies, and trash my hotel room like a rock star.

    I know, it’s only rock ‘n roll
    But I like it

  8. They went after Trump for the mean tweets. This seems just as mean as anything Trump ever sent out. The difference is Trump always punched up, never down, while the O’Biden adminstration made punching down into policy.

    • Trump was a blowhard a-hole who was/is not fit for any public office.

Biden is the same, just better at pretending otherwise. This Corvette picture really says it all. The man, Thing, is a traitor to his oath of office, and has declared war on me. Just like the Dumptster Trumpster did.

Best defense is to just ignore them.

      • Now how did trump declare “war” on you???
Did trump “sicc” the FBI on pro-lifers or parents who spoke out at school board meetings.
Did trump “sicc” the ATF on firearms purchasers who purchased more than one gun or the “wrong type” of pistol brace or trigger assembly???
Did trump weaponize the doj and the fbi??? In fact, the fbi was used against trump.
merrick garland (nee garfinkle) has weaponized all federal government agencies against US.
YOU, my friend are in serious need of mental help for your “trump derangement syndrome”.
I urge you to seek treatment.
Was trump “perfect”??? Not by a long shot, but he was certainly better than our present diaper-wearing, drooling and slobbering confused occupant in the white house.

  9. I’m getting a 1014 error when I use the last link.

Using an iPad Air 4th Gen.

    Any solutions out there?

And thank you soooo much for this post!! I grew up in the 50s and 60s and know just what you mean. Although I’m a Ford gearhead I do so appreciate your post.

  10. brandon……A globalist/satanist laughing in your face….

The globalist/satanist leaders like gates will drive his 959 Porsche, you will walk and eat bugs if you survive the cull…..lol

the double-speak involved is intensely characteristic of the reversal of reality practiced by satanists…..black is white….. up is down….bad is good….

do as we say not as we do……inversion typical of leftists…the rules don’t apply to them….
leftists lie 24/7…..ice cars are bad….but they can still drive them…… but you can’t

Demons invert/reverse all that they touch. The psychopath uses the same trick.

    leftist/communists = satanist.

    • brandon…a ccp controlled twit, pushing EV’s that benefit china only….

Your government is pushing EV’s? Why?

China has infiltrated all levels of governments, taken control, (check out the leftist/communist takeover), your politicians bought off, paid to push the EV agenda. ESG money (from taxpayers) is used to push EV’s.

Anybody pushing EV’s is a paid ccp shill.

Who benefits the most from the EV vehicle conversion? china does.

All the most important components in the new EV’s are all made in china. Then you are dependent on china for replacement parts, etc., in effect they take over the whole vehicle supply chain. Vehicle production then centralized in China.

the chinese are taking over the electric car market, they are starting to export their EV’s worldwide, their EV’s are supposed to be cheap, they will kill off the other manufacturers……

      EV’s catching fire……

This year, Chinese conglomerate BYD announced that it had overtaken Tesla as the world’s No. 1 producer of electric vehicles. BYD EVs are sporty and economical, and the windshield wiper fluid is the tears of Uyghur children forced to watch the execution of their parents.

There’s only one problem with BYD’s electric vehicles: They keep charbroiling Chins. Seven EVs a day catch fire in China, 680 in the first quarter of 2022 alone.

the chinese make most of the chips, maybe the shortage was to help their EV launch….lots of their cars coming here soon

at this rate everyone will be driving a chinese car soon, a lot of electronics in your car made there already…….

no wonder tesla moved a lot of production to china…

china…..it is where most rare earths are processed; and most of the mineral supply-chains for electric vehicles lead there, with existing supply sewn up.

      • brandon and blackface support ccp slave labour…

75% of Lithium batteries made in China come from Uyghur Muslim concentration camps. Slave labor for Green Energy….Uyghur slaves are also producing solar panels……………..

500 tonnes of Earth are needed to be unearthed and mined for every tonne of Lithium. more destruction of the Earth for EV fallacy
That’s a lot of work for those 6 year old cobalt hand miners in Congo .
NOTE: mining lithium is racist so EV’s are racist….so EV pushers are racist…..
Who knew the greenies would be the biggest promoters of strip mining in the world

Some leftist government responses to the Uyghurs issue……..

brandon, blackface and the democrats/liberals think this is fine, not a problem. they refused to vote in support of the uyghurs. genocide of uyghurs doesn’t matter.

they refused to vote in support probably because of this. (they probably agree with blackface senior but won’t say it publicly)

A survivor of China’s re-education camps in Xinjiang recently revealed what happens there. Gulbahar Haitiwaji had lived in France for ten years. Her husband and daughters had political refugee status, but Gulbahar preferred to keep her Chinese passport to visit her elderly mother.

In November 2016, she bought a ticket to China, where she was swiftly deported to a re-education camp for her people, the Uyghurs. She was detained for two years before being released under pressure from France. Early this year, Gulbahar Haitiwaji published a chilling account, “Rescapée du goulag chinois”. [“Survivor of a Chinese Gulag”]

Gulbahar Haitiwaji was moved from one detention center to another. First the pre-trial detention center, with the rules hanging on the wall: “It is forbidden to speak Uyghur; it is forbidden to pray; it is forbidden to go on a hunger strike…” She had to defecate into a plastic bucket in front of the others.

She was chained to her bed for 20 days in 2017. She was taken to one of those new “vocational training centers”, the name given by the regime to its gulags. The Baijintan Camp — three buildings “as big as small airports” on the edge of the desert — is surrounded by fences topped with razor wire. Prisoners no longer see daylight, only neon. Cameras follow the detainees’ every movement.

“Thanks to our great country. Thanks to our dear President Xi Jinping”, the detainees must repeat from dawn to dusk.

After taking on new names (Gulbahar became “Number 9”), their clothes and hair are removed. Chinese re-education then begins to take hold of their mind. A camp guard shows the group of inmates a wall: “What color is it?”, he asks. “White”, they reply. “No, it is black. It is I who decide what color it is”.

Then come strange “injections” forced injections. “Women no longer menstruated. Once I returned to France, I really felt the existence of sterilization…”

up to two million Uyghurs are estimated to be locked up in “re-education camps

the lying ccp calls them “vocational education centers”, the name given by Beijing to its re-education camps. “These people are not in prison,” “but sent to compulsory training”.

an impressive investigation by the French weekly Le Point on how China has bought the favor of many Western academics. “It is worthy of Aragon’s travels to the Soviet Union or the collaborators in Nazi Germany”, said Marie Bizais-Lillig, a colleague of Mestre. The reference is to Louis Aragon, the French writer who visited Soviet Union under Stalin and came back convinced of the genuineness of the communist system, and then dedicated himself to its defense.

That may be why the proposed new head of the CIA, William J. Burns, said that if it were up to him, he would close Confucius Institutes in Western universities. In Britain, they are also apparently worried — justifiably, it seems. According to the Daily Mail, hundreds of independent schools that were left in serious financial difficulty by the Wuhan Virus pandemic have since been targeted by Chinese investors.

China is evidently seeking to expand its influence in the British education system, as they are in the United States. Seventeen schools in the UK are already owned by Chinese companies, and that number is destined to rise. In addition, The Times revealed that the University of Cambridge received a “generous gift” from Tencent Holdings, one of the largest technology companies in China involved in state censorship.

We also know about the number of people locked up in the laogai, the Chinese “administrative prisons” (estimated at 50 million). We know about the number of Chinese girls that the regime prevented from being born when the “one child policy” was in effect (estimated at 30 million).

We know about the number of people killed at Tiananmen Square, the last time the regime was openly challenged by its citizens (estimated at 10,000).

  11. What a cooooool president with a BaDaSs car! He’s even got his coolguy shades on.

Why they took this pic? Only thing I can think of is to give the moron lefty boomers a break from their TDS & StAnD wItH pianodick Ukraine Twitter rage, with an upbeat and optimistic photo op meant to recall the good ol days:

“Yeahhh! 67 Corvette! That sure was a car! Vrooooooooom! Made in America, I like it!”

    • Hi Michael,

Biden is a classic narcissist-sociopath. I am certain he would not flinch from mass murder if he thought he could get away with it. He imagines himself to be brilliant, great-looking and accomplished when he’s just a successful grifter. Were it not for government and the “opportunities” it provides, someone like him would be a small-town thug that everyone hated.

      • Eric,
“someone like him would be a small-town thug that everyone hated.”
And as in Skidmore MO, might end up being shot down on main street in broad daylight, and no witness who saw the shooting or the shooter to be found.

      • Hi Eric

brandon is just a parasite worked for the government his whole life because he is too useless for anything else, never done a real day’s work ever. the dinks and losers end up working for the government because they are too stupid to qualify for any job, even sweeping a floor is beyond them.

      • He is still a small-town thug in my IMHO. He should be living in the back of a trailer park in a musty single wide, wearing a dirty wife beater and driving a rusty 25 year old Monte Carlo……

  12. RE: “Joe can also rest his withered arm on the top of the door, because …”

That’s a sight that I never see anymore – except with the rare classic car I see – elbows out the window.

Such was a relaxed position… these days, everything, and I mean, just about everything, seems to be about being uptight.

I tried putting my arm out the window of the newer vehicles I had the opportunity to drive, … It just wasn’t …comfortable/possible.

I just miss seeing that. I can’t express why so well. It just seems like a very bad thing. To a lesser extent, maybe, wing vents & floor vents, too.

Regulating your water flow, your energy usage, the food you eat….

What the individual wants is subservient to what the goobermint supporters & our overlords wants.

    Bullies. …FreaKIN’ COMMUNIST!

  13. It’s refreshing to hear EP applying 1/200th of the vitriol to the Satanic interloper that he lavished on the object of his sanctified scorn-PDJT. Well done you old fart. You are finally bytaching about an actual enemy of Americans. Golf clap applause.

Oh and don’t forget the motto of a libertarian: “If at first you don’t succeed pack a bowl and smoke some weed.” Yes, that’s why your political movement will never get off the ground. Your base are pot heads….dude.

Hey man where’s my bong? Don’t you condensend me man…

    • Hi Effin,

Well, I’m not al old fart – yet. Just middle aged. As far as the Orange Fail: It is because he failed (serially) that we are in the situation we’re in. I’ve explained why several times, at length. But here’s the summary:

The one man who was in a position to calm the country down allowed one man (and a woman) to amp-up hysteria about a “pandemic” that was obviously contrived. He made no effort to bring forth doctors to counter the doctor. He declared (and never ended) an “emergency” that never existed. He enabled the unvetted counting of mass absentee ballots. He aggressively pushed dangerous drugs on the populace – at the behest of the pharma cartels he got into bed with.

      All facts.

Joe is evil, certainly. But then, he is supposed to be. Trump was supposed to not be. He turned out to be just that.

As far as pot: This is a typical non-sequitur directed at libertarians as a way to try to undermine something very important – a human being’s right to control his own body – by trivializing the issue, as you have done.

    • Your right Effin. The two dominating political parties go straight to meth, crack, and under age sex partners. Robbing us blind and killing hundreds of thousands of people in other nations in the meantime. That’s soooo much better than supporting the right to use marijuana.

  14. In European cities, residents use public transportation because there is no other choice. In many European cities, automobiles are restricted, reasons being “congestion”, the tightly-packed urban infrastructure and the main reason–just because the authorities can.
Every European I have come in contact with marvels at the wide-open spaces, the suburban areas, the ability to own a car giving one the ability to go wherever you want whenever you want. Almost every European would like to have the freedom that we have to go where and when one wants without being encumbered by “public transportation” limitations.
THAT is an aspect of freedom that liberal control freaks either do not understand or comprehend. Of course, (((they))) probably DO comprehend, it being about CONTROL, not unlike the rabid enviro-freaks who want the same thing.
Not being tied to bus or train schedules, not having to endure smelly, criminal passengers, and the inability to get one’s goods home without using a delivery service are all negatives to public transportation.
It’s always been about CONTROL–nothing more.
Rabid environmentalists and others have latched on to hatred of the automobile precisely because it allows one to travel where and when one wants without restriction.
In addition, the automobile allows one to “vote with their feet”, establishing suburban and rural communities where one can get away from “undesirables”. I suspect that this one reason is primarily responsible for liberal control freaks disdain of the automobile.

    • >In many European cities, automobiles are restricted
Yes, and many, if not most, of those cities were built many centuries ago, long before there were autos, so what was built reflect the realities of the time.

We have some quaint relics of the past here in the U.S. as well. Try Beacon Hill in Boston,
      https://www.trolleytours.com/boston/acorn-street
or the streets of Santa Fe, NM (founded 1610), the latter sometimes jocularly said to have been laid out by a drunken Spaniard riding a blind mule.

  15. thought the tweet was completely tone deaf

reminding people of the coolness of the pasts while steering them into the institutionally inspired dreariness of the future.

  16. I like to check a lot of the liberal news sites to see what the opposition is up to. Yahoo, Slate, Huffpost, etc. I especially like to read the comments, because that gives some insight as to what the idiot progressives are thinking. Now, may be wishful thinking on my part, but I believe the tide may be turning a bit on the EeeVees. Especially after this hurricane, seems a lot of the liberals are figuring out that electric is really not the answer. I see a lot more articles about lithium fires, how the batteries burn even under water, charging time problems, etc. Yahoo even ran a piece the other day about all the negatives of EeeVees. Maybe the sheeple are waking up? One can only hope.

    • I’ve noticed that too Floriduh, maybe hurricane Ian was enough of a dope slap to knock some of the cultists out of their trance. Hope it’s enough and in time to keep all of us from going over the cliff.

    • I saw a few videos on YT where they test out the towing capacity of EV trucks, and they’re advertised 200 miles towing or something, and get like 50 lol

Some stupid apologists commenting were like “maybe if you dont use the heat youll get better range?” just too retarded and ridiculous lol

      • Hi Michael,

It makes my teeth ache, too. It’s of a piece with the endless whack-a-mole rationalizations and evasions one encounters with Face Diaper and “vaccine” people. No matter how absurd (and worse) they still believe. Meanwhile, if Toyota, say, sold a Camry that lost even 5 percent of its range if you used the AC or heat there would a chorus of outrage and a mass recall.

  17. When you see something this ignorant, it clearly was done on purpose. Although, I can’t
figure out their intent. Why wouldn’t they have included a photo of him in an EV? Following the direction of the auto industry and this country, an EV would appear to be the obvious choice.

      • Hi Mike,

Unfortunately, yes. But it serves as a wake-up call (or ought to). Attempting to get along – or even just avoid these Leftists – isn’t an option. Franco knew how to deal with them. No quarter. No attempt to meet their endless demands in compromises that merely embolden them. You crush them.

    • brandon……A globalist/communist/satanist laughing in your face….

they are screwing with your head, they won’t do this to your face, they are too scared, they would get their face punched in.

the elite drives the ice sports car and eats steak……in their world you will walk and eat bugs

the corrupt slimy little scared senile wimp with a diaper should go to a conservative area, park his car and sit there and grin….

  18. I suppose we are also expected to believe Biden has the wherewithal to actually drive this car? He likely needed guidance to make sure he sat in the left hand seat, him being well accustomed to one of his “servants” doing the driving. “We’re building a better America”, for the 1%, maybe just the 0.01%. Certainly not for any that actually produce wealth, instead of stealing it. Which stealing is all Biden has ever done for a living. He was thoroughly disgusting long before he became senile. He has always literally turned my stomach. He may well introduce us to “owning nothing”, since what they ALLOW to be built few if any want. That beside the fact that his profligate government spending has devalued our “money” to the point no one may soon afford to own anything.

    • John your comment reminded me of an old friend’s morning zoo show on a small market radio station. He did a fairly good George H W Bush impression. When Clinton got elected he did a call-in skit with “Bush” getting his car (a 79 Dodge Aspen IIRC) out of storage since he didn’t have access to the White House limos any more (it’s a comedy thing. Of course he never had to drive again). After figuring out that the gas station was self-service he promply wrecked. Funny stuff at the time.

    • brandon is so senile he probably can’t start the thing, has to be helped to sit in it, if he got it in gear he would wrap it around the nearest tree, sounds like a great idea, better at high speed…lol

  19. Biden didn’t buy the car at the end of a deliberative process where he carefully considered the pros and cons vs. other models like a lot of people who weighed a similar purcase at the time. He received the vehicle as a gift from his wealthy Chevy dealer father.

    • Roscoe,
Perhaps because his father was disappointed in the number of women/girls he was attracting? Him being more attracted to LITTLE girls.

      • The stories vary about why Scranton Joe’s *wealthy Chevy dealer* (lets not forget that) father gave him the ‘vette. Some days, the story is that the car was a wedding gift.
