Cop Speeds Twice as Fast as the Speed Limit to Catch Speeder . . .

It is said a picture is worth 1,000 words. A video is thus priceless. Here’s one of an armed government worker who is determined to catch a “speeder” on a motorcycle doing 70 on a government road with a posted-by-the-government speed limit of 55 MPH:

The government regards driving or riding a motorcycle any faster than that (or any speedĀ  limit) as a “crime” – never mind the absence of any harm done, which was once-upon-a-time the element that defined whether a crime had been committed. But that was a time before it became a “crime” to affront the authority of the government – which is to say, the authority of the handful of people who control the enforcement apparatus of the government. Their minions post a sign by the side of the road and it must be obeyed – because there is a sign by the side of the road. If it is not obeyed, then armed government workers are sicced on the disobedient.

In this instance, the sign said 55. The motorcyclist was riding faster than that. He was “speeding,” in other words. Ergo – according to the logic of government – the motorcyclist must be pursued by an armed government worker, who “speeds” more than twice as fast to catch up to him.

Before he can begin the pursuit, the armed government worker has to stop and turn around – because the “criminal” was going the opposite direction. By the time the armed government worker has turned around, the “criminal” who’d caused no harm was already out of sight. So the armed government worker accelerated his vehicle to speeds well in excess of 100 MPH – as fast as 130 MPH – in order to catch up. Apparently, there is no danger to others on the road when an armed government worker drives more than twice as fast as the sign by the road says is permissible.

For miles.

Other drivers have little, if any, time to react to the speeding armed government worker; if something appeared suddenly in his path, such as a car pulling out from a side street or a kid on a bicycle trying to cross the road, some innocent person likely would have been killed.

It is very difficult to square the circle here. To understand the argument that it is necessary to drive 130 MPH to catch a “speeder” doing 70 because it is “dangerous” to drive 70 MPH when the speed limit is 55.

After awhile, the armed government worker catches up to the “speeding” motorcyclist – who ought to have taken the second or third turn off the road he was on when he had the advantage of being out of sight and disappeared. For the same reason that it is reasonable for a cat to seek refuge up a tree when it is pursued by a German shepherd.

The motorcyclist accepts that he’s caught and pulls off onto the shoulder. He does not do anything that could be construed as a “threat to officer safety.” But he has greatly affronted the authority of the armed government worker and so is subjected to what can accurately be styled police state kabuki. It is a performance ritual – imparted to American armed government workers by Israeli trainers, who employ similar tactics in their dealings with Palestinian untermenschen.

It is a new thing in America.

Like the look of armed government workers, who used to dress like Roscoe P. Coltrane as opposed to special forces “operators.” Traffic cops used to wear shirts and slacks. They carried a single sidearm, usually a .38 special revolver. Today’s “operators” wear battle dress and web gear; they carry high-capacity semi-auto pistols and sometimes two, along with multiple extra magazines.

And that’s just the beginning of the show – and tell.

Once upon a time, when traffic cops caught “speeders” and other non-criminals, they’d hand the offender a “ticket,” that piece of officialized extortion-paper that is essentially a demand note requiring the handing over of money.

There was generally not a gun-drawn Hut! Hut! Hutting!

When an operator catches up to a “speeder,” he initiates the new kabuki, screaming orders at the “speeder.” Even if there is no “resistance” – even if the “speeder” hasn’t disobeyed any of the screaming – he is ordered to get on his knees and then face-planted on the ground, as if the operator had just caught Osama bin Laden.

We have been conditioned to regard this ritual humiliation as normal – just the same as we have been conditioned to regard it as normal to be treated essentially the same way by government workers at the airport, even when we haven’t affronted the authority of the government or its workers. The point of the thing is to establish the nature of the relationship. As in Israel, if you’re not one of the chosen people.

It is barbarous on purpose.

Not to mention ridiculous (which is an element of the barbarous). Screaming and yelling at people when talking is all that’s necessary. Unless it is necessary to establish who’s the untermensch.

And is it necessary to drive more than twice as fast as the speed limit in order to catch (and punish) someone for driving 15 MPH faster than the speed limit?

Not if the point of the thing is “keeping us safe.”

And they ask me why I drink.Ā  Ā  Ā

  1. Back in the early 1990’s I was on a road in western PA going back to college. I was behind another car stopped at a traffic light, at night, in a rural area. There was, what looked like a parked civilian car on the other side of the intersection but could not be sure since it was dark. After about 5 minutes, the light still would not turn green! The guy in front of me decided finally to go through it. Then, I decided to go for it too. As soon as I went through the intersection, on my way along the divided highway, I saw lights flashing behind me, and the cop (who was in that parked car earlier; he probably rigged the light so it would stay red) followed behind me for a few seconds, before speeding off for the other guy. I suspected he was writing down my license number and calling for one of his gang to come get me. And lo and behold, another cop car was barreling down the road going in the opposite direction (he couldn’t get to me yet since there was a concrete barrier there-he had to go down another mile or so and make a u-turn to get to me). So I decided to get lost in a hurry! Thankfully I found an exit ramp and made myself scarce in a little town and parked there on a quiet street for a while. Then I took an alternate route to my destination.

  2. This should be a normal speed stop if not a stop at all, and in Illinois near Chicago would not have even happened for 70 in a 55 on the interstate. Probably would be a warning on a local highway. But this cop does a felony stop on the biker, gun drawn, yelling, and swearing as if he just stole a car, clearly escalating the situation on a guy who is not causing any real problem. What for? Did they have other knowledge of this subject for something else? Def didn’t run his plate so at most he matched a description but I doubt it. Did they get permission to search the bike? Is 70 in a 55 a felony there? Because it’s not here so if there was no permission to search and its not a felony, there is a civil rights violation on top of that. Lawyer could have fun with this case.

And on top of all that, the cop leaves the radar on the whole time, even after the guy is in the car. You can hear the whistling noise going up and down as cars pass- the higher the pitch, the faster the target, and it compensates for the cruiser’s speed so when the cop is trying to catch up and the bike is going no faster, he would know the biker is not fleeing and eluding.

Most cops also know bikes go faster than traffic for safety. Hopefully this all gets thrown out in court for the dude.

  3. Got hit by someone cops where chasing once. Taxpayers of course had to pay the bill for the repairs. At least it got paid for eventually…… Should have sued, but it would be taxpayers paying yet again…..

Get the license plate number and let them go. Chases are stupid and unnecessary. Granted it will likely make more people run, but should there be the many traffic stops that happen that create these chases? Probably not.

  4. Seems to be a recurring theme of “our” government. To create conflict where there was none. From affirmative action to to trans identity.

  5. Back in the day when 55 was the limit many were doing 70-75 on the ‘free’way and the cops for the most part left them alone. Then the limit was raised back to 70. Were the folks with with the need for insatiable speed satisfied…. nope. Now the average speed was 85-90 with some doing over 100. Cops were forced to start enforcing the speed limit. The speeders were upset and quite vocal in the local rags but cops eventually got the speeds back down to 75-80. You couldn’t satisfy the speeders if you hung them with a new rope. Doing 85+ I had them behind me flashing their lights. Many reports of road rage… all that has settled down now.

I’ve seen that video or one close to it in the past. The video is mostly centered on Whitey’s insatiable racism.

  6. Here in Michigan (as in many other states) one is required to change lanes (if possible) and slow down when a emergency vehicle is at the side of the road (freeways).
A favorite tactic of Michigan State Police and other agencies is to have the back end of their vehicle sticking out into traffic, even when it is clearly possible to pull their vehicle completely off the roadway, thereby INVITING an accident.
A Michigan State Police stakeout team (in plainclothes) ran a stop sign and t-boned a vehicle which had the right-of-way. The first thing these bastards did was to yank the driver out of his car without ascertaining whether he might have injuries. They roughly handcuffed the driver. They almost got away with it, save for a building-mounted video camera (which clearly showed the stakeout team to be in the wrong). Of course, the story quickly evaporated from the local media. I hope the t-boned driver got a nice settlement.
On another note, a State trooper was killed in a rollover accident in his patrol vehicle. I queried (on various local media sites) whether the trooper was wearing his seat belt. The vitriolic responses I got from many clovers was astounding. My favorite was “how DARE YOU question whether the trooper was wearing a seat belt. He’s DEAD and that is all that matters”.
Sorta like questioning holohoax (oops, I mean holocaustā„¢) dogma. I was being vilified for asking an honest question . . .

  7. A local police officer committed suicide in a small nearby town. Two years ago, a police officer from the same police force also committed suicide.

The police chief has been relieved of his duties for reasons not known.

Seems to have some impact on the police force, police officers are human too, and what is done to their psyches does take a toll.

Here is what can be done, return to being people helping and understanding what everyone is up against. Not too difficult to act like a human being instead of an animal.

Be the solution, not the problem.

  8. My car spun off a road a few years back during freezing rain. Called the local police with the information that the road was frozen over and extremely dangerous. How does the AGW respond to a report of freezing rain and dangerous conditions? By driving his SUV at a high rate of speed and almost crashing into me. Could have killed me and the others who cars were stuck.

  9. Too bad he didnā€™t disappear off the road somewhere before the AGW caught up, poor guy must not have realized all cops are storm troopers now. Tough lesson but for sure he wonā€™t make that mistake again.

  10. Get caught speeding and get Hut-Hut-Hutted. What happens when there was a fender-bender, and one person has a language barrier trying to argue his point:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zPt8r0uM2I

Highly likely the AGW wasn’t even a witness to the accident he was called and then took the hearsay of one witness over the other and now has a guilty party to *enforce the law*. And enforce he did.

  11. “Apparently, there is no danger to others on the road when an armed government worker drives more than twice as fast as the sign by the road says is permissible.”

Ah but they are trained, see. And they have flashing lights, see. If you have flashing lights and are trained… well, you get in trouble for having flashing lights and that training doesn’t count.

But even if the cop’s lights are flashing there’s the issue that at 125 MPH his vehicle is moving about 185 ft/second. A typical city block ranges from 200 to 600 feet in length, and a suburban block about 600 to 800 feet in length at least according to ChatGPT. So on the low end he’s moving a block per second. Out in the sticks where it looks like this took place, even though there are no defined blocks, it looks like there are many entry points to the highway less than 100 ft apart. Look both ways… but by the time you look that direction he’s traveled 350 ft or more. Would you notice? For sure you probably won’t hear the siren until it is much closer (and in an urban environment would probably ignore it anyway).

    • Hi RK,

Yup – and all for what? The guy on the bike was doing 70 in a 55 – a not reckless speed – and not harming anyone. If it were not for this literally mindless insistence that speed laws must be obeyed just because, this whole thing would never have happened. The bike and the cop would have passed each other and gone on their respective ways.

What would have been so awful about that?

    • Also keep in mind that the kinetic energy which must be dissipated in order to bring the vehicle(s) to a stop is proportional to the *square* of the relative velocity, and velocity is a vector quantity.
      (50)^2 = 2,500
      (100)^2 = 10,000

If two vehicles are traveling 50mph in opposite directions and collide, the relative velocity of the collision is 50 + 50 = 100
That is what “vector quantity” means.

Want to rev up your motorcycle and crash it into a bridge abutment @ 100mph?
      Probably not.
Want to rev up your motorcycle to 50mph and cross into opposing traffic?
      Think carefully about your answer.

Our county sheriff, Chad Bianco, has said that his deputies have told him they would rather die than be “late.” Presumably that means they would have no problem killing innocent bystanders as well. Our tax dollars at work.

One RCSO deputy got his wish back in 1989, when he came screaming over the double yellow and hit me head on. I wish to point out that never getting there means you are infinitely late. Forever.

“Well trained?” I do not think so.

  12. Some animals are more equal than others.

    Especially the pigs.

Shun all pigs and their families. You canā€™t vote your way out of this.

  13. Cops get a pass to do all sorts of stuff that you can’t. They talk on cell phones while driving. You can’t. They use computers while driving. You can’t. They routinely exceed the speed limit for non-emergencies. You can’t. They get to carry high-capacity pistols and have an “assault weapon” in their car. In many states you can’t. They can assault an unarmed person they think MIGHT be a threat. You can’t.

If they run over you’re five-year-old or shoot him with a stray bullet they usually get off scot-free. You can’t.

Cops have become imperial soldiers controlling a subject population, like the IDF on the West Bank but also like U.S. Marines in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Thirty years ago I was pro-cop because I believed that if anyone ever stole from me or harmed me the job of the cops would be to make it right. But in almost sixty years I have never really needed the cops for anything, other than to make nuisance complaints about naked fags in public parks when I was trying to take my little kid for a hike, about which they did nothing but file a report. It’s a well-known thing in major urban areas that cops don’t even bother to show up for petty thefts and car break-ins and if they do, they don’t actually do anything. I knew a girl once whose apartment was burglarized and as she was there crying the cop hit her up for a date.

    She WAS cute.

Fuck the cops. “Conservatives” need to start understanding that the cops are not “heroes,” they are basically no different than General Gage’s Redcoats in Boston in 1775.

    • Nailed it. Under the Constitution there is a militia, and “law enforcement” is a matter for the people, as is military defense.

Cops are a recent development, and the key to government control.

  14. If they did a remake of “the Dukes of Hazard” it wouldn’t last past a couple of episodes as Bo and Luke would be shot for resisting arrest, Uncle Jesse and Cooter would be framed after the new Roscoe discovered a load of fentanyl in Uncle Jesse’s barn, Enus would quit in disgust and marry Daisy who both go on to found a prepper/ militia group in an undisclosed location.

Shoot, this sounds better than most TV shows do today. šŸ˜€

    • Cooter would actually be found to have kiddie porn on his computer. Itā€™s the best trap they have, viscerally disgusting so that it is impossible to get a fair trial, reputation destroying so that even if the rap is beaten the mark is destroyed forever, and trivially easy to plant.

But yes, the plot line does sound great. Dukes 2024, nothin but Hazzardā€¦

  15. The cops driving like maniacs to the scene of wrecks, or to catch speeders, is dangerous to the lives of others.

When I was a young man, I was driving my grandparents to some destination, and I entered a busy intersection, at the speed limit, on a green light. At that precise time, a police car entered the intersection from the intersecting road, and caught my car at the rear tire, causing the car to spin around in the intersection. Fortunately, no one was killed or injured. The cop was on his way to a wreck. I heard no siren. There were surveyors performing work at the intersection, and they gave us their information as witnesses and the city paid up. Whenever I see cop cars, ambulances, and fire trucks driving at excessive speeds for the conditions, I think of my experience.

  16. The reporter talking about the Israeli training keeps talking about “communities of color” being “impacted” more than others. In doing so she makes this more about politics than the totalitarianism that is at its core. I’m sure the white guy on the Harley feels better knowing that he’s getting better treatment that if he were a “colored” person.

As for the militarization of cops, Radley Balko wrote of this decades ago. The 1033 program to give “surplus” military equipment to cops began under Clinton (1997) and continues today. Once again clueless “conservatives” support such madness under the banner of Back The Blue.

So long as it’s only viewed as going after colored people whites seem to be good with it…until the jackboot hits THEIR front door. Oops…to late.

I’ll have a double scotch, neat.

  17. ‘Israeli trainers employ similar tactics in their dealings with Palestinian untermenschen.‘ — eric

The West Bank, home to nearly three million, has been under Israeli military occupation since 1967 — most of a human lifetime. Arrestees are tried in Israeli military courts. They have no democratic say whatsoever in the Israeli regime which rules them.

Last week a 30-second video from the West Bank showed an Israeli military convoy trundling by. An 11-year-old Palestinian kid jumps out from behind a car and throws a rock at it. They shoot the kid dead, not even bothering to stop. That’s impunity.

Incredibly, over the past six months, Israel actually called in air strikes on some West Bank towns. When the odious Bill Clinton mounted a military attack on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco on April 19, 1993, killing 76, it was a major wake-up call for Americans. But in apartheid Israel’s occupied West Bank, such abuses are regular events, as no countervailing force exists to stop them.

An undeclared nuclear power, Israel is involved in hot wars with its neighbors, which it declares are existential. This is insanely dangerous. But every US president from Clinton on has signed a letter promising not to reveal Israel’s illegal nuclear proliferation, which would force US arms shipments to stop. This reflects a life-threatening level of corrupt foreign influence in the US fedgov.

    Israel is our misfortune.

    • You’re right about that.

And all because of this fantasy that God “gave” them a piece of land. Somehow, that is justification to uproot and suppress the people who lived there.

Even though Ben-Gurion & Ben-Zvi wrote a book acknowledging those living in Palestine had always lived there, and were the ancient Jews who converted to Islam.

This is the evil of government – they ignore facts to propagandize the public into supporting whatever it is they want.

Safe & effective. Fight them over there so we don’t fight them here. etc

      • So, they are the “Chosen People” of their (probably imaginary) War God.
Yet, somehow, they are always being “persecuted,” For No Reason.
Time to get yourselves a new War God, chumps.
And leave the rest of us alone.

    • That’s been going on since before the institution of the state of israel. Jewish criminal gangs actually invented terrorism.
Terrorism is defined as violence committed against non-combatants (ordinary people) as a result of political and or government policy, in order to achieve a political objective.
The present-day genocides in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria etc. show what twisted minds jews possess.
The jewish double standard rears its ugly head once again.
Us goyim are expected to treat jews as individuals, responsible for their actions on an individual basis.
This does not apply to jews–collective responsibility and collective punishment (but only for goyim) are the norm in jewish thinking and practice.
This is why jews think nothing of murdering innocents. We are all Palestinians, now.
Jews are so twisted that they have no problem with sacrificing their fellow jews to achieve a political aim. The 1972 Munich Olympics comes to mind as there were mossad agents directing the whole operation. It’s called the “Hannibal Directive” which is in use to this very day. October 7, 2023 was one such operation.
Their Kol Nidre prayer absolves jews from all oaths, affirmation, criminal behavior against goyim and other transgressions committed against the goyim.
Sorta like confession for Roman Catholics.
According to jewish talmudic doctrine, us goyim are less than human, on a lower spiritual plane, to be used and abused for the benefit of the jews.
As far as I am concerned, every jew on the planet is responsible for what is going on in the middle east and in the rest of the world.
Total destruction is baked into judaism.
All jews worldwide.are culpable and responsible.
Ask any jew (even the supposed good jews) what they think of Jesus Christ. To a man, every jew is proud to have been responsible for the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.
Keep in mind that jews are already selling Gaza waterfront properties out of NYC synagogues. Trump’s son-in-law has already publicly advocated the sale of Gaza property to jews.
      Chutzpah, indeed.
      There are solutions:
–Declare judaism itself to be a foreign political system and require every jew as well as every jewish organization and synagogue in the USA to register as agents of a foreign government with the U. S. State Department.
–Remove all tax exemptions from every jewish organization in the USA.
–Close and repurpose all holocaustianity temples. Allow one such temple to remain open with signage showing the fraudulent nature of the holohoax (oops, I mean holocaustā„¢).
All jews worldwide must be recognized, marginalized and brought to task for the actions of their fellow jews.
      It’s only fair…

      • Confession doesn’t resolve a Catholic from sin. That’s something the Marxist media and secular schooling made up and is now believed by a lot of people.

        • You are correct.
Repentance is a part of confession and is always required.
          That being said…
The Vatican II Ecumenical Council was a coup committed by both jews and protestants to weaken the Roman Catholic Church.
