He’s No John Galt

Glenn Beck – after reading ad copy urging his listeners to buy Rough Greens and Relief Factor, which constitutes the bulk of his show – said something so spectacularly wrong the other day that I could not let it pass without comment.

He compared Elon Musk with John Galt – the fictional character created by Ayn Rand in her novel Atlas Shrugged, which was about capitalism. Not crony capitalism. More finely,  rent-seeking masquerading as capitalism. The leveraging of government force to get rich. The redistribution of – as opposed to the creation of – wealth.

What are carbon credits?

They are a wealth redistribution scheme. Company A produces something of value for which there is a market, established by the fact that people are willing to exchange their money for it. Like a truck with a V8 engine (or a car with a V6 engine). But the government says these things produce more “carbon” than it says is allowable – according to an arbitrary standard it lays down based on assertions that “carbon” is causing the “climate” to “change.”

The government – more finely, the regulatory bureaucracy – says this excess “emitting” of “carbon” must be cancelled out via either the production of vehicles that “emit” no “carbon” at all – at the tailpipe – for which there is no (or very little market) or via the purchase of credits from another producer of such vehicles in lieu of producing them.

Obviously, none of this form of exchange is voluntary.

That is how Tesla – which is Elon Musk’s electric vehicle operation – funded itself, in the manner of a tick feasting on the blood of a dog. The “carbon credit” being a kind of transfer tax imposed by the government but collected by a for-profit corporation. It is how Tesla sucked dry the once-successful Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep brands that are now rustling shells of their former selves. When you bought a V8 Ram or Charger or Chrysler 300, part of what you paid – assuming you could afford to – went to Tesla and thus to Musk.

What is a carbon tax?

It is a tax designed to economically punish the use of “too much” energy, defined as that which exceeds your “carbon footprint” – which is defined (arbitrarily, once again) as the the amount of “carbon” your existence generates. If you drive too much – or eat too much meat or keep your house too warm or your house is too large – then you have exceeded the allowable size of your “carbon footprint” and are tax-punished accordingly. The government – which collects the tax – is enriched while you are diminished.

Elon Musk is a proponent of taxing “carbon.” Naturally. He believes the “climate” is “changing” and – much more important – his lifestyle will not be diminished because he could lose 90 percent of his wealth and still be richer than 90 percent of us.

He also stands to benefit from such a tax since his “carbon footprint” is considered small because his battery-powered vehicles are considered to have no “footprint” at all – because they do not produce any “carbon” directly. The “carbon” created indirectly by the manufacture and associated activities involved in making tens of thousands of enormous lithium-ion batteries and pumping them full of electricity is not counted toward the size of his “footprint.” But your gas-powered truck’s “emissions” are. And also your steak dinner and the fact that you turned up the thermostat in your house to keep warm.

What is digital money? It is non-physical money over which you have the illusion of control. Put another way, it is a medium of exchange that only works as long as the digital-electronic mechanisms that you have no control over allow. It can, in other words, be used to control what you are allowed to spend – and on what and how much. You have exceeded the allowable size of your carbon footprint this month – but it’s not yet next month? Well, for the remainder of this month, your digital purchasing power will be limited and there is nothing you can do to get around it. You wave your device at the scanner to pay for the groceries on the conveyer belt but the purchase won’t go through.

No steak for you.

Elon Musk is proponent of digital money (DOGE and Bitcoin, specifically). He is also a recipient of great tranches of government money via his Space X operation. It is not funded by this billionaire. It is funded by taxpayers – who are forced to fund it.

John Galt spent the entire novel battling such rent-seeking, cronyism and grift. He did it chiefly by persuading the productive to stop aiding their exploiters and (ultimately) their destroyers by going on strike. He did not urge them to get rich by getting in bed with the government. He had nothing but contempt for the force and fraud that is the essence of government. He believed in the absolute sovereignty of the individual and that personal worth was a function of the creative capacity expressed via productive work the value of which was measured by the free approbation of the market. That honest wealth did not require anyone else’s wealth to create it.

His symbol was the dollar sign and his coin was gold.

No man could be less Galt-like than Elon Musk – down to the humblest street sweeper, who does honest work and earns his money by providing value for value and without the intermediary of coercion.

Steve Jobs was Galt-like. Preston Tucker is another. Musk is a predatory parody of Galt. One that’s as funny as a basket of dead rabbits.

    • Indeed, Jonathan –

I listen to him and others on “conservative” talk radio to glean what these shills are being paid to tout. Beck and Hannity are insufferable. But there are a few who seem ok; David Webb is one of the few.

  1. Remember, Beck is the guy who was fully against Ron Paul when Paul was running for president.

Beck has always been a piece of shit. Now, he’s just a really rich piece of shit.

  2. I don’t trust that E. Muskrat!

BTW I just heard Trump say the electric vehicle mandates are going to end. I just watched him talk (on Right Side Broadcasting Network’s youtube channel) — I rarely ever listen to any politicians talk. I was able to sit through Trump’s entire talk because it all sounded good! I’m starting to understand why ppl go nuts over this guy. I think America should have King Trump, and fire everyone else … and then have the people vote on everything. We don’t need congress, the state governors, the county commissioners, the city managers — they are all organized crime — why don’t we people get to vote on anything anyways — this makes no sense for all these crazy politicians making laws for us and deciding international policies — how dare they! Are we people or their slaves?

    • Hi Harry,

Trump’s pattern is to say what people want to hear – and to say it in vague language. The fact is there’s no EV mandate, as such. There are regulations that serve as a de facto mandate – and the distinction matters. If the regs are not rescinded – and the regulatory apparat neutered – then the lurch toward “electrification” will continue while Trump talks about “ending the mandate.”

        • Hi maup,

Well, like many (millions) of others, I held my nose and thought – maybe – there’s hope he would be better than the certainty of that utterly loathsome Kamala woman and the entourage of Freaks behind her. It was a vote for Hitler rather than Stalin, basically. That’s a good measure of the mess we’re in.

    • Morning, Jim!

That was just what I needed to get me irritable and ready to go this morning! Lawsee. No mention at all in the article that “mask” wearing is psychological theater performed by neurotics to make themselves feel better. No mention that “masks” stop the spread of next to nothing. Just a paean of sorts to this sick obsession with sickness.

  3. Plunk down a double-eagle on a table, then place 27 100 dollar bills next to it. Offer one or the other to a taker, no conditions.

Which one would you take? The 27 100 dollar bills or the double-eagle. Your choice, make the call.

12 thousand plus double-eagles were struck in 1907, extremely rare coins. Numismatic collectibles, without a doubt.

One is potentially worth 500,000 dollars, better than bitcoin.

It’s an ancient relic, still commands value, a commodity, very fungible, if you ask me. Make the right choice.

Even a rose can bloom in the desert – El Guapo

  4. Beck is an elitist who would like cars to go away for most.

About two years ago, after returning from a trip to Yellowstone with his family, I heard Beck go on an hour long rant about how the crowds of humanity had spoiled the park and other tourist attractions he had visited in the recent past. What struck me was the intensity of the vitriol he spewed that morning — it wasn’t the usual “carnival barker” schtick he practices on the show.

  5. Musk is and enigma to me. Is Space X exempt from having to buy carbon credits for it’s almost daily rocket launches? A search doesn’t turn up much. Not that I’m a supporter of carbon credits. OK, Occupy Mars. We can’t even get back to the moon after over 50 years, if we actually did go. Get to the moon and I actually might say OK, we’re cutting the BS and getting somewhere.

      • Get human carbon based life forms to the moon and build a moon base and I’ll say that we’re getting somewhere. And no AI baloney, I want proof of life.

        • Under a our current debt-based fiat money system, things like “moon bases” are pipe dreams that will never at any point in the future become economically feasible.

    • Lol sure we just jettisoned to the moon with a rover and film crew, played and cruised around while broadcasting the whole shindig back to earth..

      Using 1960’s technology 😃

      • The moon landing was real.
And so was the fact it was faked in a studio.

What would you do if you knew both accepted narratives are 100% true?

  6. MSM radio is all Zionist propaganda. Take for instance the shock jock Howard Stern, a greasy tribe member, with underworld tones, dark glasses, drugs, porn and because he is a Jew, it is not surprising when a New York City Jew radio host calls for the deaths of all Palestinians. Everyone understands the Jew Stern is a psycho Jew maniac, but not with Glenn Beck, the lily white Mormon boy who projects himself as squeaky clean god believer.

The owners of the MSM and everything else need to keep us occupied while they figure out how to kill us all off, so they have set up this false Left-Right paradigm, you take a side and wring your hands in utter madness as they criticize each other, but never the Jewish ownership of police state Amerika. No, no, no, Glenn Beck will never talk about what really matters, because like Stern, he is a paid shill.

Notice on the topic of Israel, far left Howard Stern and far right Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and Mark Levin AGREE. They all agree with what Israel is doing, because you see, the left and the right are on the same team, and you the Amerikan tax slave are the intended mark. Alex Jones, is of course, just another MSM shill that will NOT talk about Israel. But he strayed off the ranch with his Sandy Hook HOAX and they took him down.

Great comments so far! Now if you want to hear some straight no bullshit talk, yesterday’s Jim Fetzer show on RBN was good, he hosted Henry Makow, a Toronto Jew who tells all about Jews, freemason, Chabad, Trump, etc.

    https://grizzom.blogspot.com/2025/01/the-raw-deal-with-jim-fetzer-20250115.html

The best part is when Fetzer kept reiterating that Chabad Rebbe Schneerson said he was not the Jewish messiah, because before the Jewish messiah comes, all the Christians have to be dead first, yet all these moron Zionist Christians love Chabad Trumpenstein and Israel.

    • That’s propaganda, does Donald get to approve that image?

Forgot to computer image two horns, come on.

      Pure Bullshit!

The media is more evil than Charles Manson.

When it comes to evil, Bibi is off the charts.

      Could it be Satan?

The wheels of justice grind a very fine grist.

      • I am convinced that Netanyahu (nee Miliekowsky) IS an unleashed demon.
In demon lore, demons cannot completely disguise themselves, a visible “defect” is always visible.
Netanyahu’s (nee Miliekowsky’s) demoniacal “defect” is the permanent “cold sore” on his upper lip.
In 2020, the “Large Hadron Collider” operated by CERN, the high-energy physics research institution, was conducting high-energy experiments.
It is speculated that a “portal” to another dimension was opened, allowing demons from another realm to enter our universe.
Notice how quickly the “world tuned upside-down” after these experiments were conducted.
From the “summer of love” riots in major cities, to the installation of a false American presidency due to election shenanigans, to the present-day murderous genocide going on in the middle east, one could easily put “two-and-two” together and at least entertain the possibility of demonic possessions and visibility in our realm taking place.
        Farfetched?
Most likely, YES, but observe the recent advances in high-energy physics, including the possibility of alternate dimensions, wormholes, travel beyond light speed and other subjects that were once considered to be impossibilities…

        • Netanyahu is the antichrist – a Polish imposter Khazar Jew. I don’t think he is a demon, he is the devil himself, Satan, and his plan is to totally destroy the United States:

          As published on VT

“If we get caught they will just replace us with persons of the same cloth. So it doesn’t matter what you do. America is a Golden Calf and we will suck it dry, chop it up, and sell it off piece by piece until there is nothing left but the World’s biggest welfare state that we will create and control. Why? Because it’s God’s will and America is big enough to take the hit so we can do it again, again and again. This is what we do to countries that we hate. We destroy them very slowly and make them suffer for refusing to be our slaves.”

          – Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu

(Benjamin Netanyahu was in a meeting at Finks bar in Jerusalem, a well-known Mossad watering-hole. Here is what he said as taken directly from the transcript of the recording, which was witnessed and which has been 100% fully authenticated.)

    • That portrait is sinister, especially when compared to Trump’s official portrait in 2017 where he’s smiling. His fan boys will of course spin it to say the image he’s projecting is “serious business!”. But it looks like the message he’s conveying is that the second go-around will be emphatically totalitarian in nature.

  7. Glenn Beck began as a morning show zoo keeper with a drug habit.
    He’s a total clown.
Not sure exactly how he became an Alex Jones clone with a CNN show back in the mid-oughts.
(But that was when Jones was still seemingly a libertarian – before he became a globalist Republican.)

    • Beck was banished to afternoon drive in Tampa for a couple of years prior to 9/11. Once the airplanes flew into the buildings, however, Clear Channel turned him into a national morning talk star almost overnight.

In Tampa, we were happy with the change since a fill in talk host moved up to full time in the afternoon who was much more entertaining and middle-of-the-road than Beck.

  8. The earth is all we have,,, we better damn well worship it,,, or its extinction. This carbon crap is too much. One these political scientists don’t have a clue. Two: the earth is cooling and has been for the last few million years. The chart I link to shows cooling and heating periods. Cooling for awhile then rapidly heating. In the last few hundred years the planet has been cooling rapidly. Then around 1850 a heating trend started, just like the heating trends in the past few hundred million years. And they blame it all on carbon,,, the very element that is responsible for their miserable lives. Their answer? Make everyone’s life just as miserable!

If in fact carbon is the one trick pony then why did it start cooling again after each heating cycle? Look at the chart! Yes, they blame it all on carbon because it fits their narrative and they’re squeezing billions of fiat out of us because either we’re too stupid to see it or too lazy to tell them to shove it up their lying wazoos. Little by little they’re eliminating every decent invention that makes our lives easier and more enjoyable. Little by little they want us to freeze, starve, be murdered by their medical establishment or kill each other in their useless wars. They hate humanity. They hate themselves. They hate the element(s) that gave them life. They exist in their own version of hell and wish our participation. They are a pox on humanity and need dealt with like any other pox. First they capture most of the money then tell us what we can or cannot have,,, can or cannot do. All for our good of course. Let them all emigrate to Billionaire Island and kill each other off. A blessing for humanity.

    • The earth cooling is the ONLY thing that can happen.
Here is solar and planetary evolution in a nutshell:
1: All of existence is a fractal. What does this mean? It means as energy systems perpetuate out into time, the same energy pattern repeats in ever diminishing fashion. Let’s take it from the top…super-huge “Gen 1” stars formed, had a short life span, exploded, seeding very heavy elements out into the cosmos. Heavy elements coalesced to form planets, while the remaining hydrogen forms smaller stars. Still massively large, we have the first fractal expression of the super-large stars in smaller Gen 2 stars. The cycle repeats, slower this time. Gen 2 stars explode. Now we’re getting Gen 3 stars. Our sun is likely a Gen 3 or Gen 4 star. Gen 4 stars are fractal expressions of their larger siblings. Smaller. Weaker. SLOWER. Now we have a fractal expression which has a long enough time frame to support life. And for the record, planets form first, and the process is actually orderly with no gigantic crater-forming impacts.

So all of existence is fractal in nature. Following along so far?

The reason for this is that the inherent patterns of energy remain the same, only the available energy diminishes. This is why things get smaller and slower over time. Less energy. It’s not a defeat of any Newtonian laws, the energy isn’t destroyed, it simply isn’t localized anymore. This is why giants existed. And insects were huge. Energy levels were high enough to sustain larger organisms. it’s not anymore.

      2. Habitable planetary zones start far out, when stars are young, and migrate inwards as stars age. The result of diminished solar output over time causes inner planets with hydrogen dioxide (water) to cool. As atmosphere thickness is determined by water content, lower solar output means less oceanic evaporation. Less evaporation means thinner atmosphere. This process continues until atmospheric pressure gets so low the boiling point of water gets somewhere in the 70f range whereby oceanic loss begins at a staggering rate, sublimating to space. This process is known collectively as “desertification”. It is why Mars is a dry desert. The sun cooled over time and her oceans boiled away into space.

3: This process is mid-way through completion on Earth. Her deserts are growing. This is absolute fact. Growing deserts are a 100% telltale sign of solar cooling. Life on the Earth will one day, quite soon actually, become uninhabitable. If I had to guess how long? I’m guessing a few hundred thousand years. Tops.

4: This process will be revealed sometime in the near future on Venus. If you all want to write this down, this will go down in history as one of the greatest scientific predictions of all time. At some point in our future, solar output will diminish to such a point, that the atmosphere on Venus, which currently holds all of its oceans in suspension, will lose its ability to maintain those oceans as water vapor. If you want to know why it’s so hot on Venus, and atmospheric pressure is so great? It’s because THE OCEANS ARE STEAM. Big secret. So what will happen?

Over a period of probably a few months to a few years, there will no longer be enough solar energy to maintain the oceans of Venus as steam, and the temperature and pressures on Venus will begin to rapidly drop, so suddenly as to be nearly unimaginable, and the oceans will rain from the skies and Venus will have her water ocean. And Earth scientists will be privileged to witness one of the greatest rainfall events in planetary history.

At this time, she will dim significantly, and will no longer be the brightest object in our sky (save for the sun and the moon). Jupiter will take that distinction from her.

      That is how planets evolve.

Now, when you’re ready to experience the ultimate global war…wait until there is a race to establish new colonies on Venus while the “lower-class” gets left behind on the dying Earth. If we’re SMART, we take this bitch over NOW, because under OUR RULE, EVERYONE can go to Venus when the time comes. Because finances won’t even be a consideration. Under JEW COMMIE RULE, they will be planning THEIR evacuation, while they fill our heads with their pseudo-scientific nonsense about “CO2 causing global warming” which is the biggest bunch of absolute nonsense that it’s beyond the imagination that anyone believes in it.

      • You are a scientific ignoramus. Almost everything you have written here is complete bullshit. Solar output is not diminishing over time. In fact, the sun is slowly growing hotter over time. This will continue until it reaches its red giant phase. The earth will become unhabitable in about a billion years due to the increase in solar luminosity. As for Venus, there is almost no water vapor in the Venusian atmosphere, which has a thick carbon dioxide atmosphere and clouds of sulfuric acid, giving a surface temperature of almost 900 degrees F and a surface pressure 90 times greater than the surface pressure on earth. The idea that Venus will become inhabitable in the future is absurd.

        • Martin, I agree with your statements regarding Venus and the Sun based upon current theory and known facts. They may be correct.

I do not agree with the personal characterization of letmepicyou in your first sentence. That does not belong on this forum.

        • Hey Martin,

Thanks for taking care of this reply. I was going to post something similar last night, but I then figured “why bother?”.

Observations of Venusian atmospheric composition and the physics of Main Sequence stars will be dismissed as “Jew propaganda”, undoubtedly.

    • Seriously who is this Glenn person?

And who in a healthy mind is listening???

This guy was an obvious and ridiculous PSYOP plant going back to at least 2010.. hard to believe someone is still funding him.

      • Seriously. If you haven’t even figured out that Joe Rogan is a shill, you should be on Jew meds.

About the only person that comes CLOSE is Stew Peters. He’s the ONLY guy I hear out there right now calling out the Jew. And saying shit like, “There are no good Jews.” Amen, Stew, amen.

Do I grant him absolute trust? Helllll no. He’s financed by Jew gold. But at the very least, he names the Jew, and that makes him the exception to the rule nowadays. Rogan won’t even let you SAY the “J word”. Commie pos that he is.

  9. One world government with their GAIA cult religion….

GAIA = climate change cult religion. A satanic cult.

After the war, eugenics-promoting organizations and think tanks changed their names while continuing their work, morphing into new forms by the 1960s such as the environmental movement, transhumanist movement, including the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector.

the climate change/global warming/depopulation needed hoax is an excuse for a cull and to get total control.

Total control…..part of that is getting rid of all ice powered cars, too much freedom….

a modernized form of human sacrifice carried out under biological/ecological camouflage that is rooted in the sacrificial oak imagery of ancient paganism.

Klaus Schwab says there is global warming, depopulation is required. Is it just a satanic sacrifice?

Depopulation, extermination is so evil it would require people to be brain washed in a religion, a satanic cult to actually do something that evil.

    • You’ll own nothing and be happy dead.

That goes for you, too, Klaus. Ya farqing icehole.

What a waste of human flesh.

      Change my mind rot.

    • Glenn Beck is an actor on the conservative Left-Right paradigm the owners use to keep the populace divided, confused, busy with bullshit while they carve up the world. Glenn Beck is a well paid bullshitter like Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and all the rest. I would rather listen to my toilet flushing than any MSM radio talk host, they are all owned and lying for the golden shekels. ALL OF THEM LIE THEIR ASSES OFF ABOUT THE GAZA SLAUGHTER AND ISRAEL HAVING A RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF. THEY ARE ALL ZIONIST WHORES WITHOUT SOULS. TRUMP IS THEIR GOD-KING.

      • One of the biggest shills for jews, israel and the “deep state” is Sean Hannity. On Hannity’s radio show, a caller asked him about the deliberate israeli attack on the USS liberty (AGTR-5) on 8 June 1967. Hannity abruptly cut off the caller and declared that “israel is our “friend” and never would have done such a thing”. I damned near fell out of my chair when I heard THAT.
On another front, 8 June 2017 was the fiftieth anniversary of the attack on the USS Liberty (AGTR-5). Normally, the fiftieth anniversary of any event rates at least a mention in the mainstream media. Not so for the USS Liberty (AGTR-5). There was not a peep from the so-called “mainstream media” about this “act of war” by our “friend and ally”, israel.
This is merely more proof of who owns the “mainstream media”. Hint: It isn’t gentiles…

          • It’s called “propaganda”. A famous Jew related to the Jew Sigmund Freud named “Edward Bernays” actually wrote the book on it. It’s called, not coincidentally, “Propaganda”. I own an actual copy. I recommend picking it up and reading it, it’s not a very long read.

Here’s something few know. One of Netflix’s co-founders is Marc BERNAYS Randolph, who is himself a Jew descended from Edward Bernays (the “father of public relations”) and Sigmund Freud. If ever there was any better clue that Netflix is propaganda, it was literally created by the Jew that wrote the book on the subject.

If you want to know why we’re so ignorant on the Jews, that goes back to a few very specific places.
1: The creation of the Scofield Bible. How a failed minister and bankrupt lawyer got his own “version” of the Bible published (thanks to the help of the Oxford press – keep THAT in mind) is a fascinating story, but none of the “Google Giants” will take you there. I promise that Jews are involved.

2: The creation of the Jesuit order. How did a group of Sephardic Jew Marranos (read: Spanish and Portuguese crypto-Jews) led by “Ignatious of Loyola” get away with creating the Jesuit order within the Catholic church? Here is actually one of the biggest secrets covered by Jewgle censorship. The Jews 100% DO NOT WANT CATHOLICS TO KNOW THEY CONTROL THE CATHOLIC CHURCH VIA THE JESUIT ORDER. This is like, a bigger secret to them than Jews being the origins of communism. Jewgle might let slip that Jews are behind communism, but it will NOT let this fact slip. You have to hunt far and wide to discover the FACT that the creators of the Jesuit order were JEWS.

3: The conversion of the “Department Of Education” in America to a CABINET POSITION in 1979. This allowed the Jews to capture American education at the start. By 1980, a Jewess was in charge of the DOE. Her first act was to remove the books from Nobel Prize-winning author Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Books like “200 Years Together” and “The Gulag Archipelago”. Why? Because Solzhenitsyn’s works, once required reading in American schools, pointed out the absolute links between communism and Jews. Period. His books were replaced with “The Diary of Anne Frank”, a book about “Oh, the poor little Jews.” This is why when you talk to people today, they have no concept of where communism comes from.

That’s what gives. Control of the mind.

            • Anne Frank’s “family” consisted of criminal jews who were plying their black-market, fake identification and smuggling trade when they got caught. They were arrested for criminal activities, NOT for being jews.
Anne Frank’s “daddy” was treated in a “(death) camp hospital” and survived the war where he added on to the (in)famous “diary” using a ball-point pen, not invented till the 1950s.
What the hell is a “hospital” doing in a “death camp”?
Not only did Otto Frank “add” his own remarks and statements to the diary, sexualizing Anne Frank’s behavior, (a jewish penchant) he screwed the publisher out of shekels as well.
The whole Anne Frank story is as phony as a three-dollar bill…

          • One of the biggest shills for jews, israel and the “deep state” is Sean Hannity. On Hannity’s radio show, a caller asked him about the deliberate israeli attack on the USS liberty (AGTR-5) on 8 June 1967. Hannity abruptly cut off the caller and declared that “israel is our “friend” and never would have done such a thing”. I damned near fell out of my chair when I heard THAT.
On another front, 8 June 2017 was the fiftieth anniversary of the attack on the USS Liberty (AGTR-5). There was not a peep from the so-called “mainstream media” about this “act of war” by our “friend and ally”, israel.
This is merely more proof of who owns the “mainstream media”. Hint: It isn’t gentiles…

            • You’re misusing the word “gentiles”. Like most Christians, you’ve been fooled into thinking the word “gentile” means “non-Jew”.

It means nothing of the sort.

The word “gentile” means NATION. It does NOT mean “non-Jew”. When Jesus commanded the disciples to “preach to the gentiles”, he meant “preach to the nations”, as in, the nations of Israel.

Not…”other” nations. And certainly not to Jews.

It’s not the only word Christians mess up. Most don’t know what “firmament” means, either.

  10. Eric

With all due respect, you’ve got to do more research regarding “digital money”.

You are portraying different things as being one and the same. This hurts your believability as much as Glen Beck hurts his by saying Elon the Grifter is the same as John Gault.

We already have digital money – any dollars you spend on goods and services with a credit card, debit card, or gift card are digital money. On-line transfers of funds from from a checking account to pay your credit card or electricity bill are done with digital dollars.

Central bank digital currency (CBDC) is different than either cash currency or Bitcoin. CBDC can be programmed to control what it can be spent on. Bitcoin cannot.

CBDC are controlled by proprietary code. Bitcoin is open source.

All crypto is not coded to have the same characteristics. Bitcoin, DOGE, Etherium, Fartcoin, and Hawk Tuah coin are not the same things.

I’m not shilling for any of these “digital” concepts. I favor good old physical cash – preferably backed by precious metals but that no longer exists. Given that the Government has limited the largest bill in circulation to $100 and that doesn’t even buy two bags of groceries; you can see that the Government is already well on its way to creating a cashless society. Sadly society has walked right into the trap they set for us.

    Prepare accordingly.

    • BTW – I’ve seen your donate via Bitcoin QR code. So I can see that you do perhaps understand more than this article implies.

Digital money and Cryptocurrency are difficult concepts to write about for public consumption. You have a difficult job. How to explain simply vs teaching details.

Forgive me for being critical or getting too lost in the details of digital money.

      • Buy 157 Japanese Yen for one dollar, that is today’s price. The Bank of Canada will more than likely accommodate the exchange.

The Yen will increase in value and be 90 yen for a dollar. Cash in your 157 Yen and receive back $1.67.

Not much work to achieve a 67 percent gain, spend 10,000 dollars, have 16,700 dollars, just have to wait for it to happen.

The Yen reached 88 per dollar 20 years ago or so.

Have to play the long game, but that’s okay.

In the past, the Yen was equal to one penny.

        Those were the days.

      • [Digital money and Cryptocurrency are difficult concepts to write about for public consumption. You have a difficult job. How to explain simply vs teaching details. ] BID

Actually it’s pretty easy. Just think Bad -> Worse of any currency system based on electrons and your understanding is complete! Sort of like the Tulip currency.

Take away the cash and coin and you have ‘their version’ of CBDC. No more anonymous spending. They can and WILL do exactly what Eric says and implies. CC and Debit card are eventually paid off in paper and coin currency. Without an internet connection or power CBDC is nothing but a wet dream for the bankers and a ball and chain for the users.

Bitcoin et all are just fake asset crap. Nothing used as a workable currency medium should vary by thousands of dollars, pounds, whathaveyou daily. You purchase a Tesla one day for one bitcoin. The next day the coin loses ‘value’ by half. The seller loses half the closing cost. Lets say the coin doubles in ‘value’. The seller still loses half as he could have gotten half again the price by waiting one day. This will destroy business.

CBDC allows the bank/government ABSOLUTE control over your spending. In short,,, CBDC will destroy economies, people and businesses alike. Eric is 100% over the target. The rest of us are stuck with it and that is what’s wrong with democracies. Nobody should be forced to follow just because the majority are stupid and/or uneducated or don’t care. In my neck of woods the majority ‘voted’ to put rat poison (fluoride) in the drinking water. I drilled a well but even that doesn’t work out in the long term. People talk about processed food bad for you but poisoning the water? No prob….

        CBDC poisons the currency water.

        • “CC and Debit card are eventually paid off in paper and coin currency. ”

          Please feel free to elaborate.

Americans have credit card debt to the tune of $1.166 trillion dollars.

Please explain how this debt will be paid in paper and coin. Especially, given cash in circulation (worldwide) is only about twice that amount at $2.3T.

        • You are just embarrassing yourself here.

I said elsewhere that it’s no crime to be ignorant, but when you are arguing, on a public forum no less, from the position of knowing nothing about the subject, it is best to stick to other topics.

      • If you can’t write about it so that someone with an IQ of about 80 can understand it (and you can’t, where cryptocurrency is concerned), then it’s too complex to implement on a broad scale.

Simple is good. Simpler is beautiful. Simple works.

          • The Federal Reserve Bank decides how many dollars are in circulation. To help cover the debts created by Congressional overspending, some additional dollars are printed on paper and some are added onto the balance sheet as digital entries. As the money gets spent, it circulates throughout the economy but the people who get the new dollars first benefit the most. More dollars chasing the same goods and services means that prices rise.

            • Pretty good actually!

But who is the Federal Reserve and how do they decide how many dollars get made? What gives these pieces of paper value?

But still not exactly suitable for 80 IQ agreed?

            • Cool. I’ll give it a try.

Bitcoin is a digital record of transactions maintained and added to by a worldwide network of computers and is regulated by the mutual agreement of these computers on the details of these transactions.

              • BaDnOn,

Playing devils advocate and reflecting the attitude of the crypto haters, where’s the value in that. Couldn’t that record of transactions just be a record of how many dumps my dog took today?

Where’s the value in keeping track of transactions.

Not trying to beat you up, more to the point that I was being too harsh on Eric.

This stuff is difficult for people to understand. It has taken me a long time to understand gold, dollars, debt, crypto and I still wouldn’t consider myself an authority.

I think you nailed it in your original post.

Keep your options open and keep your powder dry.

                • Burn It,

I think you were being cordial and considerate, and I’m not trying to be harsh with Eric either.

Regarding transactions, that’s most of what the banks and stock market does as well, there are just centralized authorities in play there.

With cash sales, you keep a record of transactions, too, and typically give the buyer a receipt. When there is no physical token, the record of these transactions establishes one’s holdings.

I really, as you were pointing out, don’t think the essential concepts are any more difficult than that of the mainstream financial systems at large. Your common man doesn’t typically understand the Fed and T-Bills and bonds and all that shit. And he doesn’t have to, but sometimes he might wonder why things continuously become more expensive. But that is another story.

                  • H BaDnOn (and Burn it) –

You guys aren’t being harsh – and even if you were, I’m not a baby! My position on crypto comes down to a gut instinct (and I have learned to trust this instinct) that it’s scammy – and dangerous. The speculative nature of it appeals to people’s desire to get rich quick and the fact (incontestable, I think) that it is at the very least entirely dependent on devices we know spy on us such as dey sail fawn and the computer I am typing on gives me the creeps. I do not buy that assertion that crypto is anonymous or secure. I believe it is a way for them – the government, corporations – to know everything we do, financially. And allow them to control it, too.

                    • You and I have the exact same gut instinct on crypto. Red flags down to my SOUL with crypto.
Have you ever looked at the symbolism in Ethereum? 100% chock full of “As above, so below” Jew symbolism.

                    • “I do not buy that assertion that crypto is anonymous or secure.”

I’m with you Eric, bitcoin is certainly not anonymous. By definition of having the bitcoin ledger public, the transactions are not anonymous. The transactions may be obscured by not having user ID but now with Know your customer rules at the exchanges, you can be certain the transactions can be traced and ID’d to a user with enough effort. Coin mixers make the task more burdensome but not impossible.

Secure – well that largely depend on the coin owner and how well the keys are protected.

Thanks for understanding my commentary wasn’t a personal attack.

            • “To help cover the debts created by Congressional overspending, some additional dollars are printed on paper and some are added onto the balance sheet as digital entries.”…
Um, excuse me here. Point of order?

“Debts” aren’t created by “Congressional overspending”.
“Debts” are created by the creation of a piece of paper labeled “NOTE” instead of “CERTIFICATE”.

EVERY DOLLAR PRINTED IS DEBT. “Congressional overspending” has NOTHING to do with it. CONGRESSIONAL SPENDING PERIOD using DEBT INSTRUMENT CREATES DEBT.

Once you all figure out why the word “certificate” isn’t found on any US Dollar, and the word “Note” isn’t found on any Silver Certificate, you’ll be figuring out where debt comes from.

It’s not from ANY kind of “spending’.
It comes from the VERY EXISTENCE OF FIAT DEBT-BASED CURRENCY.

            • The Fed has only a fairly rough idea of ‘how many dollars are in circulation’.

One of the many strange features of the fiat system is that money is being created and destroyed all the time. Consequently there is no exact way of knowing how many dollars there are at any given time.

In fact, most dollars are ‘created’ via commercial bank credit. That’s right – the banks create loans, on which they get to charge interest, literally from thin air.

As that credit is repaid, the ‘money’ behind it is destroyed again.

The Fed is, via very imprecise instruments, always trying to ‘measure’ lots of unmeasurable things, for example the ‘CPI’, unemployment, or how much credit there is in the system. It then aggregates all this into an incomprehensible mess, and ‘regulates’ it via the blunt tool of interest rates.

The Fed is an entirely ‘anti-market’ entity. It interferes in things that should absolutely be left to the free market and directly helps cause the boom & bust cycle.

But hey, what’s new. That’s how ‘modern capitalism’ apparently operates.

              But I guess that’s j

      • Burn It Down,

I happen to agree with all you said.

I’d rather have cash and gold on hand, too, but cryptocurrencies have their utility, and they aren’t all used for the same purpose.

Mainly, it is difficult or impossible to pay for things at a distance with cash or gold. Almost no one will accept these as payment. Try finding an online (or mail-order, where they still exist) business that even accepts money-orders anymore.

They will probably accept credit or debit, but purchases are increasingly scrutinized by banks and credit card companies. Many businesses increasingly accept crypto, however, which is not subject to the whims of the gatekeepers. As government, with the help of these gatekeepers, continues to make purchases of those things of which they disapprove more difficult, crypto will likely be instrumental in the maintenance of a freer economy.

And of course, yes, if the power grid is destroyed and the Internet goes dark, digital assets will vanish. Sure. Also, Eric’s business model is destroyed and the world’s economy comes to screaming halt and hits a wall. The US government could disband, and then cash would be worthless, too. Gold and other precious metals might maintain value, but more utilitarian possessions would become the objects of true desire…

But for now, let’s keep our options open.

        • >The US government could disband, and then cash would be worthless, too.

So, what *does* happen if the US Govt packs it in?
          Do FRNs become worthless?
Does that piece of green paper with Andy Jackson’s picture on it become “just artwork?”
          Inquiring minds want to know…

          • Indeed Adi

            I have millions of Zimbabwe dollars. Wheee . . . I’m a millionaire.

Also have some Iraqi Dinar’s, a few Deutchemarks, Swiss francs – all sorts of useless pretty paper trinkets to remind me of what those FRNs are worth.

            • I like to show my Zimbabwean 100 million dollar notes to people. I point out that it has all those legitimizing features, holograms, pretty threads, pictures of some politicians and signatures of others.

It tends to make the reachable ones think a little bit, and plants some long term seeds. If you don’t plant seeds you eventually won’t have any fruit…

          • Hey Adi,

Well, these Federal Reserve Notes are backed by the “full faith and credit” of the US Government, whatever that means, so in the government’s absence, I guess there is no more faith or credit.

And without faith, people lose belief in something they always knew wasn’t true: That this paper had value. But they also concede that they were right about something else: The government’s credit was no damn good.

      • You are saying precisely those same things I tried to explain both via contributing here and through private conversations with Eric.

With me having donated some Bitcoin, Eric now knows that he can receive money from anywhere in the world and without having to worry that PayPal or his bank with suddenly decide to de-bank him.

And if he is really concerned about intermediate volatility against the USD, as he mentioned the other day in another article, he can convert BTC to fiat easily and quickly, as soon as it is received.

But I guess old habits die hard and it is also, sadly in my view, a lot less scary for many, especially the older generations, to keep associating government-issued, always depreciating fiat cash for ‘freedom’, rather than try to understand that for one, fully digital money is inevitable because most people are totally OK with it, and two, not everything digital is necessarily bad.

        • I am agnostic on crypto, I see the flaws. But I have held for years the conviction that it is absolutely a better version of a currency, and the inevitable replacement for travelers checks and maybe for bearer bonds.

  11. Regarding EV’s being the answer for the future…I kinda like this explanation from the Show “Landman” except for the argument we are running out of oil quickly:

Maybe, just maybe the truth finally has it’s boots on. I’ll believe it when we start seeing actual debates about the climate hoax and how it attempted to turn Amerika into a Marxist hellhole.

    I agree with Eric Peters.
Elon Musk is a grifter and the AS character he most reminds me of is James Taggart.

  13. Elon has no idea of how much damage he has caused with his stupid electric vehicle that will not solve one problem. An idiocrat none can compare. GFY

    Just another firebug is all.

He can Go Galt and stop right now.

If you are a freelance firebug, paid to do the job, you fly to LA during the Santa Ana windstorms, wait until nightfall, make your way up the canyon and set the woods on fire.

Sleep all day, set fires all night. The A-Team, that is the arson team, can do the job.

Gotta be one arson fire after another.

People are suffering and are in desperate need of help.

People in Gaza are in need and do need help too.

If you politicians want death and destruction, the chickens have come home to roost right before your lying eyes.

Sow the wind, reap a whirlwind.

    Done deal in LA.

    Way to go, Joe!

  14. I feel your blood pressure increasing, Eric. It isn’t worth it. This is all for play.

Do you know the secret of every successful business owner? The ability to read the people that they are selling their product or service to. Sure, the product and service has to be good (or at least functional) for business to continue, but all business people are salesmen. The best transform themselves into what the buyer wants. This will be different for each potential customer. Don’t believe me? Look at what is happening right now in our country. Silicon Valley, actors, news media, and politicians are untying the ropes of DIE/ESG initiatives, they are visiting Mar-a-Lago and bending the knee, they are speaking out against men in women’s sports, and chopping off children’s genitalia. Where were they four years ago or a decade ago? Quiet as a church mouse or loud promoters of climate change and wokeism.

What has changed? The energy in the room. If a business person wishes to make money (big money) they scrap what is no longer selling. They sell what the audience is interested in and they become that personality to make the sell.

Is it right? No. Is it principled? Also, no. But, it happens all the time.

People like Trump, Musk, and Zuckerberg are enigmas. Do they believe what they are selling? Sometimes. I don’t paint these people as intentionally evil (you and I will probably disagree on this point) I view them as the salesmen that they are. None of us know anyone until we meet them behind closed doors. Every sales poly is a lesson in psychology…we need to be attuned to that and respond accordingly.

    • Good stuff RG. Eric’s article is great too.
IMO, everyone, in some fashion, has to be a salesman whether they like/know it or not.
‘Professional’ Salespeople solve all people’s problems in my world, because they are experienced, very knowledgeable about many things, and know how/who/what to do.
I’m not sure I would say ‘they transform themselves into what the buyer wants’, but I get the gist.

      • Hi Chris (and RG) –

Salesmen don’t offend me at all; there is nothing ignoble – as such – in selling. The thing with Musk is he’s selling fraud. Because what he’s selling is coercion and manipulation. I’d cheer him if Tesla were built on legitimate sales – without any government mandates, carbon credits or subsidies. But we all know that’s not the case.

        • I used to think that, but have come around to the position that he saw the machinations going on with the green radicals and decided to make money on their folly. Nothing could be more libertarian.

Morally, it is observing that some suicidal loser is going to off himself in a spectacular way, and knowing you cannot stop it, deciding to sell tickets to watch. I cannot make myself do that kind of thing, which has slowed my wealth accumulation considerably.

        • Hi Eric,

Every industry is government mandated, regulated, and tortured. Musk took advantage of a situation. He didn’t create carbon credits.

Every business owner wants government to side with their way of doing business. Sure, it would be great if Uncle Sam and the states would mine their own damn business, but they don’t. This is not only in the EV sector, but oil, real estate, finance, etc. Why do you think K Street lobbying is a multibillion dollar industry?

          • Hi RG,

No – but he did create a grift based on “carbon credits.” And mandates and subsidies. He produces nothing of value – in the sense that a free market values things.

            • Hi Eric,

Except it is no different than pretty much industry out there. When the Free Market takes a back seat to government intervention every field is a grifter, including my own.

If government had not concocted the IRS tax code (and regulations) to be over 75000 pages there would be no industry for accountants. People could pay their flat tax and send in their postcard. But, the realtors and builders want a deduction for mortgage interest, and the airline and trucking industry want to write off their planes and trucks, the restaurants want to write off their kitchen equipment and old food, and the churches want deductions for charitable giving, etc. Do you see where I am going with this?

Musk is taking advantage of the laws on the books. He didn’t create them, but he is benefiting from them. Many of us are doing the same thing.

              • Hi RG,

You provide a service that is valuable – helping people hand over as little of their money to the state as possible. This is honorable work. And – the real point – accounting would still be wanted in a free market sans the government. You are not a grifter!

Musk is. There was no market for EVs. There is no market for EVs. What there is was artificially created by government and exploited by Musk. There would be no Tesla absent the government, except perhaps as a very small/low-volume specialty car company catering to a handful of very rich people. “Carbon credits” are extortion. No one would buy such “credits” absent the threat of government.

Musk is also a liar and hypocrite. Here’s one example you are already familiar with: X labeled me “abusive” – and locked me out of my old account – because I posted that Keir Starmer ought to suffer ass rape and be left to bleed in the street. But Musk can say “Fuck you in the face” – to people who oppose his H1B advocacy. So much for free speech. So much for applying the same standard to himself that is applied to others.

                Fuck that plate-lipped Albino!

    • RG, those are EXCELLENT points! I never thought about it, but that makes a lot of sense. It explains why Zuckerberg, Musk, Bezos, etc al are all making a pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring of our soon to be POTUS. It also explains why companies are dumping DEI policies. They’ve seen what happened to Bud Light, and they see what’s happening to Disney as we speak. No sane businessman or CEO wants any part of that, as few businesses can survive such a massive hit to their bottom line. At the end of the day, as George Carlin used to say, businesses are all about “keeping it in the black”…

  15. One of the root causes of my tinnitus came to mind as I read this:

Wheels within wheels in a spiral array
A pattern so grand and complex
Time after time we lose sight of the way
Our causes can’t see their effects

    Computerized clinic
    For superior cynics
Who dance to a synthetic band

    In their own image
    Their world is fascist*
    No wonder they don’t understand

    The most endangered species
    The honest man
    Will still survive annihilation
    Forming a world
    State of integrity
    Sensitive, open and strong

Neil Peart & Rush, Natural Science

People create their own world view. But the media is always looking for someone to prop up as a false god. Musicians, actors, pop writers are always good for a headline. In the 1960s it was astronauts and Chuck Yeager. But of course they all have feet of clay. Occasionally a businessman will get some traction. Jobs was no Galt. But he was also smart enough to project a proper image to the world to sell product. Musk seems to have no one to help him maintain his mystique, but after Jobs died the media needed another business hero, and clearly Larry Ellison wasn’t going to be it. So Musk it was. And because their world is fascist, they don’t understand that he’s just the natural and scientific outcome of it.

Rand wrote A is A (or A=A). At the time I got what she was saying, but really only the last few years did it hit home for me. Boy is boy. Girl is girl. The honest man turned to Trump and Musk because that’s who we have to work with. Will we survive annihilation? So far we haven’t been doing so well. We used the ballot box. The left has begun using the flamethrower. Will the honest man have the stomach to use the ammo can?

*Actual lyric is “fashion,” but what my 15 year old ears heard out of my Yorx stereo was “fascist.” It stuck and is a better line anyway.

  16. Glen Beck is the kind of person who, if he told me water was good for me, I would automatically believe the opposite. As for Musk, he just comes across as being creepy as hell even before he speaks.

    • He’s chasing his audience. Unfortunately that means he’s playing the same game Lamebaugh played during the Bush administration, no matter what happened Bush was GOAT. Rush got a free night in the Lincoln bedroom. What with Beck get?

  17. Glenn Beck actually compared Elon Musk with John Galt? That’s about as laughable as if someone were to compare Tony Fauci with the late Mother Teresa. I suppose next, there’ll be people comparing Joe Biden (who is the worst President in my lifetime) with some of the better presidents we’ve had in history after Biden leaves office next week.

If we were getting a President Kamala Harris next week instead of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk was trying to get in with the incoming administration while pushing carbon taxes, there’d likely be MASSIVE opposition from conservative leaning people toward such taxes instead of comparisons to John Galt. With Elon Musk and some of the other things he’s pushing in addition to carbon taxes, it’s best to watch what he DOES as opposed to what he SAYS.

    • They’ll prop up economic figures and compare “growth” from the dead bottom of COVID lockdowns and point out “well, akshually, the Biden administration oversaw one of the greatest periods of (insert whatever BS stat they want) since (whatever phony timeline they use).” Or they’ll use non-inflation adjusted GDP. Or some such other nonsense to come up with a positive spin.

“He got us out of Afghanistan!” never mentioning the shit show.

      • Hi RK,

Corporate media is already concocting narratives to make the past 4 years under the Biden Thing appear better than they actually were, and people who think the Democrat Party can do no wrong will EAT IT UP as TRUTH. And in his farewell speech last night, Joe Biden warned, IIRC, of an oligarchy taking over the country. The only problem is, that was already happening under HIS watch (or lack thereof). Anything that Biden decreed or signed the past 4 years was was likely pushed by oligarchs, climate change zealots, war mongers, Big Pharma, the military-industrial complex, globalists, technocrats, or the DC establishment. But we’re to believe that ANYTHING bad that happens over the next 4 years is Trump’s Fault and no one else’s (including corrupt government).

    • >Joe Biden (who is the worst President in my lifetime)

They will start naming public schools after him real soon now.
That is just the way the world works.
      Maybe even an aircraft carrier…

Howja liketuh granulate frum J.R. Biden HS, eh?
Yore chilluns just might have that “opportunity.”
Butt whut will be there mascot?
Let’s hear it fo’ the Biden Buffalos…

  18. Beck should be looked at like the cartoonish clodhopper he is. He did some good work , exposing the Marxist/Bolshevik fever dreams of Oblahblah. But that was decades ago. Since then he’s taken a shine to NGOs helping Illegal Aliens…So, fuck that guy.

I always felt Elon could evolve into more of a Gail Wynand type character. Even though Wynand betrays Roarke, he did some good along the way. Worse than Elons rent seeking grift and all the other bad things you listed, is his drive to corral and tag humans with the internet of things. Best thing for the US would be Elon leading the first expedition to mars.

All these high profile supporters are just riding the wave of Trumps popularity for moar shekels. At some point, Trump will be left holding the flaming bag of shit the US is becoming. Trump will revel in it, claiming its a big, beautiful bag. In the end, the word Trump will become a verb, much like Munson became Munsoned in the movie Kingpin.

  19. Glen Beck, Hannity and all those so-called “conservative” talk radio hosts are frauds. “Buck” Sexton is the son of a Manhattan billionaire and former (?) CIA, LOL.

Can you say “Operation Mockingbird,” kids???

Limbaugh was the real deal early in his career, a fat Midwestern corn-pone who shocked the Establishment by saying what average people really think. He was a sportsball fanboy doofus and naively believed wholeheartedly in the “American Dream” while jobs were being offshored to China and the economy was becoming financialized by the Wall Street Ponzi racket. Toward the end of his career he got co-opted into becoming a water-carrier for the Republican establishment and the Zionists.

“Conservative” media today is a grift, a scam. It’s all basically a pro-Zionist, neocon, warmongering Hasbara operation at this point.

The idea that a “conservative” talk show host could call the richest guy in the world and a rent-seeking grifter on the climate change racket a John Galt is absurd on the face of it, LOL.

    • Mark Levine is another one. Railing against Congress and Humus one moment and pushing office furniture a couple seconds later. These talk show hosts are only honest until they can get some big sponsors and then they show what they really believe in, and it’s not you and me.

  20. Beck seriously compared Musk to John Galt? Did he ever actually read the book? I don’t listen to Beck or any of the other talking heads –haven’t listened at all since Rush Limbaugh’s passing.

    • Spatula City!

Take the red pill, Rush. Now take the blue pill, next, the green pill. Time for the yellow pill is next.

      What? I can’t hear you.

    • Hi Mike. If Musk was like Galt he would have shut down operations and moved away from the corruption to Galt’s Gulch and made his plans on what do do next, not siphon away as much money as he could from the American Taxpayer while shouting “Musk, Musk, Musk I’m the greatest” on Twatter.

  21. ‘His symbol was the dollar sign and his coin was gold.’ — eric

During WW I, when the Federal Reserve was striking up the band, it began accumulating small quantities of short-term debt to provide liquidity, as permitted by its enabling legislation.

By the middle of WW II, the Fed’s debt holdings (primarily Treasury obligations) exceeded its gold holdings for the first time.

Today, the frozen gold reserves (if they exist at all) are still valued at a derisory $42 an ounce, and constitute one minor entry at the bottom of its balance sheet. Paper and digital dollars are ALL debt-backed now. Pre-1964 silver certificates are collector’s items.

Smoking cigarettes with a gold dollar sign on them was a sassy thing to do in Ayn Rand’s time. Today, tobacco is b-a-a-a-a-a-d-d and the US dollar is a sick joke managed by idiot yenta Janet Yellen.

We modern-day Galts smoke pre-roll blunts with the Bitcoin symbol embossed on them. Heighth of fashion, as ol’ Holden Caulfield used to say. *flicks Bic*

    • p.s. Who made that sign in the lede photo, with the first line in regular sans serif font and the second line in condensed font?

Might as well be rendered in Comic Sans. Hell, add a third line: me so horny.

  22. If Environmentalism is a religion, the Muskrat is the Pope.

Carbon Credits and digital currency make the Middle Age church practice of indulgences and tithes look modest by comparison. Have you prayed to St. Greta of Thunburg today? Did you stand naked in the storm to repent for not being vegan? Will you share videos of Bill Nye the Science Guy and Peter Hotez?

At some point this will break because it is simply not “sustainable”. People’s natural desire to live and avoid death will override this nonsense eventually. What comes after is anyone’s guess.

Also, I’m sure you will get some pushback on Rand and her writings. Objectivism is a fairly logical concept but, it’s morphed into a cult of personality with psychotic Jews at the helm…go figure.

        • I’ve been saying that for decades.
The man-made climate change fraud cult has convinced some human beings that us ordinary humans (we) are pollution. This misguided statement exposes how environmentalists think which states that the “greenies” consider humanity (except for themselves) to be a “pestilence inflicted upon the earth”, NOT an integral part of the earth.
If (((they))) have their way, what is left of humanity after the poison “jabs” take their course will be in walled-off soviet-style apartment buildings with the pristine wilderness only available to the “anointed” “greenies”…
Automobiles will be off limits, the “unwashed” humans will be limited to buses and trains. Only the “greenies” will be allowed to use automobiles.
(((They))) will tell you that “you will own nothing, and will be happy” and that “it’s all for your own good”
Welcome to the future…unless we stop it NOW.

          • GovCo biologist David M. Graber has been preaching this since the 80’s. To wit…

“Human happiness and certainly human fecundity are not as important as a wild and healthy planet… [Nature has] intrinsic value, more value to me than another human body or a billion of them… Until such time as Homo sapiens should decide to rejoin nature, some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along.”

David M Graber “Mother Nature as a Hothouse Flower” Los Angeles Times Book Review (October 29, 1989), p. 9
