When Clovers Kill (Or Try To)

You may have seen the video.

A guy on motorcycle, girlfriend riding along, blitzes by some cars. Well, he tried to. An aging psychopath in the lead car by the name of William Crum – who apparently believes that passing over the double yellow and above the speed limit ought to be a  capital offense – deliberately swerved into the path of the bike, causing its operator to lose control and wreck. There were injuries but – amazingly – no death.

Which the crazed car driver laments.

When queried about what he’d done, Crum stated, “I don’t care.”

And why doesn’t Crum care? Because – his words – the biker was “one of those turds that was doing something wrong.”

Which apparently entitles him to perform a discretionary four-wheeled execution at 60 MPH.

Many people appear to agree. Here are some comments copied from the web site, Jalopnik, defending Crum:

“know how this all could have been avoided?

1. Not riding since he had an invalid license.
2. Not breaking the law and passing in a double yellow zone.”

….

“The guy was riding without a license. It follows that maybe he should have been more careful then not.”

….

“I don’t know, I see motorcyclists like this and they are reckless, dangerous imbeciles. Plus he had a passenger to boot. Also, I think it’s possible that the driver wasn’t trying to hit him, but scare him, as he swerved over well before the biker got to him, not at the same time as if he was intentionally trying to hit him.”crum Clover

Interestingly, it turns out that Crum was also “doing something wrong.” Several things. CBS News reports that Crum has a criminal rap sheet dating back to the ’90s and has been previously charged with assault, reckless driving and making terroristic threats.

Clovers – and Crum qualifies for the vice presidency of the club, at least – are violent.

Murderously so.

But in an arbitrary way.

When another person does something they, personally, do not approve of, then it’s ok to kill them. But I expect Crum would object to being put up against the wall for his “done something wrong(s).”

This incident (and subsequent commentary) reveals the Clover mindset in all its pustulating glory. Subjective, arbitrary, self-justifying. Never principled. This characteristic incoherence manifests in numerous ways, including the inevitable atrocious grammar and usage mistakes.

Clovers almost invariably can’t even spell.

Thinking is a bridge much too far.

Anyone believe – even for a a moment – that this creep was bitten by a spider, as he later claimed? The local Hood County, Texas DA doesn’t believe him. Crum has been charged with multiple felony counts of aggravated assault and is currently behind bars.crum Clover 2

Most of us have encountered Crum’s type at one point or another. The type who cannot abide another vehicle passing them. And who will sometimes do almost anything to thwart it – including swerving into the path of the vehicle trying to pass or (yes, indeed) speeding well above the lawful maximum, then slowing back down to below the limit once the would-be passer has been successfully thwarted.

These people are not right in the head, it goes without saying.

But then, neither is the system – and we get what we encourage.

In this case, for instance. Why was it illegal for the biker to pass? The country is being painted over double yellow. Legal passing zones are becoming as rare as kids walking home from school. Take a look at the video. The road is straight, the sun is high – and there is no reasonable reason why passing ought to be illegal. Especially on a motorcycle, which (if you’re not a rider, you may not realize) has explosive acceleration capability that very few cars can match. Executing a quick – and safe – pass on a bike is just that.

Quick – and safe.

But Clovers like Crum believe it ought to be illegal to pass pretty much everywhere. Because they are uncomfortable with it or – more likely – they simply can’t abide the idea of being passed. By painting over all the formerly legal passing zones, they get this codified; they confect a “crime” that has no victim – a Clover’s favorite thing.

And when some poor rube decides that ignoring such a law is morally neutral (since there’s no harm, no victim) it becomes Clovers’ mission to make a victim out of him.crum Clover 3

Thus Sanders – the biker – who harmed no one, finds himself charged with passing in a no-passing zone and operating his motorcycle without a license. He becomes the victim. Of Crum. And of the state, which creates Crums and encourages Crums.

None of this would have happened if the idiotic double yellow (no passing) zone didn’t exist. Crum/Clover would not have felt entitled to enforce the law; would have been restrained in his actions by the knowledge that the biker hadn’t done anything actionable by passing – and that his actions (swerving into the path of the biker) would find no justification under the law.

So, ultimately, it’s not actually Crum’s fault.

Its the fault of a system – the government – that creates the necessary conditions for social friction, with its inevitable consequences.

Crum is thus a mere Golem, set loose among us in his millions.

Don’t focus on him; he is just a mindless – if vicious and loathsome – animal. Focus, instead on his keepers and handlers.

Then we’ll begin to get a handle on the problem.

  1. I can’t entirely agree. I agree that people who think that you deserve to be executed for violating a traffic rule isn’t right in the head and that includes those commenters who supported him on youtube.

I agree that a no passing rule is idiotic if the road and other conditions such as weather allow a clear line of sight.

I don’t agree about the license issue.

Maybe the rider is skilled maybe he isn’t. If he isn’t, he is putting others at risk. If you have a license you have proved to yourself that you have at least the bare minimum skill required to operate the vehicle somewhat safely.

I ride myself and I see a lot of idiots on the road.

    • Hi Fredrik,

Well, idiots abound here – and they’re almost all duly licensed.

Why presume that someone’s incompetent just because they haven’t got a license? And presume them competent because they do?

Consider a parallel: Is a person who possesses a high school diploma necessarily literate? There are college graduates who are illiterate.

Meanwhile, some of the most literate people who’ve ever lived had little (even no) formal education and weren’t degreed – which is the academic equivalent of a license.

      Back to riding…

I rode for years prior to being licensed. Was I suddenly competent because I got the license? And, would a person who had just recently learned to ride, who had very little experience on a bike, but who managed to pass the test and get a license be a better rider than I was at the time? With years of riding experience under my belt?

      • It’s not that little piece of plastic that contains your skill as a rider or driver, that much is true and I agree that formal education not nessecarily imply intelligence and/or skill.

However a lot of people doesn’t have humility or enough judgement to abstain from doing something they can’t handle.

Suppose you hade been an awful rider those years before the license. Maybe you would have told yourself, I’m not safe. I don’t yet have the skill to safely operate the bike so therefore I’m not going to risk other peoples lives by riding on public roads, not until I aquire those skills.

Very few people would reason like that if there weren’t laws. There are of course people whom the laws don’t reach. Car and Bike thieves, drug addicts etc. etc. But if you don’t need a license, alot of “ordinary” people will drive and ride without the nessecary skillset.

18 year old William will test ride his buddies supersport down the block during that party, having at best rudimentary skills.

50 year old Joe will buy a brand new Harley going on vacation with his wife now that the kids have flown the nest, having that same rudimentary skills.

Not everyone will act like that, but many will.

Yes someone who had driven/ridden for years with no license is more skilled than a rookie with license but when I’m on the road I feel I have the right to know that the odds are just a little bit better because other people have passed a test and thus showed they have at worst, the bare minimum of skills required.

It’s not a very accurate yardstick, but it’s better than none imo.

        • Hi Fredrik,

          You write:

“However a lot of people doesn’t have humility or enough judgement to abstain from doing something they can’t handle.”

Certainly. How does licensing prevent such from doing so? Do laws prohibiting drunk driving prevent drunk driving?

I go back to what is – for me – the core issue here:

Arbitrary control and punishment based on group metrics.

Why not just treat people as individuals instead? And instead of punishing and controlling them for things they have not done, leave them along until they’ve actually done something harmful?

          Drunk driving, for instance.

Instead of stopping people at random and forcing them to prove they are not “drunk” according to a very general and highly suspect standard that takes no account of the person’s actual driving, why not focus on the handful of people whose actual driving is suspect?

Licensing is getting government’s permission to do something. Are we little children?

If a private business wishes to test a prospective driver to establish competence, that is legitimate. The prospective driver can elect to work somewhere else.

But with anything the government does, we have no choice. We are under duress. This is why most if not of all of what government does is illegitimate.

Licensing falls into this category. You are under duress; you are punished for failing to comply – regardless of harm not caused.

Since no one has the moral right to harm another person who has done them no wrong first, it is illegitimate for government to harm us by demanding we kowtow to it and get (and pay for) licenses of any kind whatsoever.

          • FB is glad those people passed some test and feels better they did. In 2012 I had to re-up my DL. The tester had just come from testing a 16 year old girl. She was still shaking from the kid pulling right across in front of a car with the ROW. Yep, the girl passed since that was only part of the test. That same time, the first day I went in I couldn’t get waited on all day since there were so many illegals, taking the test in Spanish. Our road signs aren’t bi-lingual……..yet. I hang my head, I hang my head.

      • eric, my father bought his license when he was 10 at the Drug Store. He and an older man would haul groceries, dry goods, mercantile type stuff to Odessa when the roads were dirt. He was a good driver and disdained speed limits and the enforcers of same.

        • “my father bought his license when he was 10”
My dad used to talk about ‘cracker box drivers,’ because they would ‘tear along dotted line.’ (if you know what that means, you’re old) But I guess he could also have meant that’s where they got their licenses, like a prize in the Cracker Jacks.

      • Look, I have issue with California permitting “lane splitting” by motorcyclists. I can’t count how many times my driver’s side mirror or my elbow, resting on the window sill, has been clipped by these yo-yo’s as they buzz in between a line of cars stopped at the light. Nevertheless, I habitually, when rolling up to a light, check my mirrors to see if a biker is approaching, and if it’s tight enough quarters, will move the mirror so he can pass (and it stays intact). I prefer to fight the “good fight” via the political process and be PEACEFUL in the mean time.

  2. Crum better hope that other riders in jail or prison don’t hear about his crime. Justice tends to be swift in places like his current residence.

  3. “On my honor as a human being, I will give no respect or obedience to counterfeit “laws” or systems of belief, present or future. I do not give, nor have I ever given, consent to be subject to the whims of the criminal collective known as “government”. I will strive to avoid aggression, and will defend myself and others in whatever way I see fit against all attacks. I will seek to live as free in my body as I already envision in my mind.”

  4. When a Big Fat Greek Clover threatens you with prison rape.

New Mexico Judge Threatened First-Time Non-violent Offender with Prison Rape
    http://sputniknews.com/us/20151030/1029360227/New-Mexico-Judge-Threatens-Rape.html

A New Mexico judge threatened a sentence of 15 years in prison, telling the defendant he would be probably raped every day.

Bernalillo County District Court Christina P. Argyres
    https://archive.is/CbbW3

In a statement to the court, the defendant plead for leniency by explaining that he was just an “impulsive teen” and “young and dumb.”

Things took a turn for the worst:

Judge Argyres: “Do you know what would happen—and I’m going to use your words, Mr. Gay—if you go to prison, to a ‘young and dumb’ person in prison? Do you have any idea what would happen to you?”

Isaiah Gay: “I would probably get beat up, I guess. I probably—”

Judge Argyres: “You would probably be raped every day, number one. You probably would be beat up every day. And I hate to sound like that, you know, rude, but that’s exactly what would happen to you. You’re a young guy, and the trauma that would cause you, you’ll never get that out of your head.

The judge didn’t stop there, either.

“To me, the issue with residential burglary, again, it’s almost like a rape, because it is such an invasion and such an intrusion of somebody’s life and their property.

“Do we send him to prison?”Judge Argyres asked the prosecution. “I hate to use the word ‘bitch,’ but that’s exactly what he’s going to be, and I don’t want to destroy Mr. Gay’s life. He’s already a convicted felon. So I am willing to put him on probation.”

  5. In fact, the driver first said he took a wasp sting, later it mutated into a spider bite. I thought his next flash would be “scorpion.” There are two spiders in his area that have a serious bite, the brown recluse and the black widow. Neither cause the instant shocking pain of a wasp. The red wasp especially has been likened to a 460 volt electric shock. When he exited his car saying “I don’t care,” he hell well had not taken a sting even from a less severe wasp species, as he’d have been hopping around and possibly flailing his arms from pain. Did the authorities find a sting site? Probably not. If a driver has a crisis, he’s supposed to pull off to his right, in almost every case.

  6. Clovers like Mr. Crum are exactly the reason that I will never own a motorcycle. The vehicle I usually drive has 18 wheels. I know that if I had tried to pass Mr. Crum with my semi truck the way the cyclist did, he would not have attempted his little stunt.

    • “Clovers like Mr. Crum are exactly the reason that I will never own a motorcycle. ”

      Ditto.

I really like motorcycles. But the few I’ve ridden on belonged to friends.

I really can’t see myself riding one day in and day out. I just know I would run into someone like Crum sooner or later.

  7. I’m preaching to the choir here but this is a perfect example of demonstrating the standard of the non-aggression principle (N.A.P.). Did the motorcyclist’s actions break the N.A.P. with regards to this psychopathic clover? That is, did they harm him? Did they damage his property (car)? Of course the answer is no. They weren’t even threatening.

Now apply the same standard to the clover. Did his actions break the N.A.P. with regards to the motorcyclist? Did they harm him and his passenger? Did they damage his property (motorcycle)? Of course the answer here is yes.

The comments in the clovers defense (referring to the comments on the other websites that is) are very disturbing and infuriate me. It matters not that the motorcyclist was riding without a license or passing in a double yellow. Those things are merely artificial constructs of the state (which is itself an artificial contstruct). What matters is the N.A.P. and the actions involved and their consequences. The motorcyclist caused no harm. The clover did. End of story.

    • Those who commented in the Clovers defense did not harm anyone or anyone’s property. Can you live in peace with them and your non-aggression principle? Maybe you can write an article at them.

      • Hi Ramrod,

First, consciousness must happen. Remember your John Adams. The revolution took place in people’s minds – the fighting afterward was incidental.

As bad as things are – and will be – there are more “awake” people now than probably in 50 years. We need more such.

Fighting will not accomplish anything until we’ve undermined the rotten structure we’re trying to batter down.

        • Of course its a long shot, that people will do the right thing. Or even to lessen their daily onslaught of doing the wrong thing.

It’s rather like the Sci Fi movie, The Day of the Triffids, where most of the world has gone blind, and sentient plants have taken over complete mastery of the dwindling wasteland world of humans.
          http://www.strangerviews.com/books/day-of-the-triffids-analysis/

Clovers are rather like these mobile vegetables, when needed, they uproot themselves and act as carnivorous individuals to get what they want by all means possible. Then quickly replant themselves and continue to vegetate as part of the state.

They are ubiquitous and hardy opponents, to be sure. What do you suggest be done. What we need is to buy some more time, and to keep researching ways to escape them or subdue them.
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKQRKxGiTX4

Because unlike the movie version of the short story, simple seawater doesn’t kill Clover Triffids.

These kinds of articles – like: When Clovers Kill or Try To – and gatherings at places like this are important because all but a very few of the humans left in the world have been made blind by the bio-engineers of the Triffids.

It is humanity’s blindness to reality that makes them helpless to the cannibalistic clovers who sting them and then consume them to keep themselves going.

Under the NAP, the biker had every right, maybe even the obligation to shoot that clover cauliflower in the face and keep on shooting until he was dead and no longer a threat to human beings.

But that of course only brings swarms and swarms of more relentless Triffids to continue the attack. Unless you do it right, and are not caught nor identified.

        • Who is talking about fighting? Last week while waiting in line at Office Max, I gave an oration about American culture to my captured audience. They did not appreciate my viewpoints.

          • Wish I coulda been there. I enjoy watching those more comfortable in a cubicle squirm when the physical environment won’t allow them to hide. They all had plenty to say to you once they were what they thought of as “safely ensconced” in their nanny-mobile some miles away

            • I rarely get stuck standing in a line for a cashier, thankfully.

But on those few times when I do, and if the cashier is robotically carding people or otherwise being a clover automaton while doing the state’s biddings, I make a point to be as unreasonably unpleasant of schnook as I can muster for their edumacations.

Because the indignant “Just Doing My Job Sir” is the company town b*llshit copout mantra that’s gotten us all to this recent lowpoint.

  8. A guy did this to me in Charlottesville about 5 years ago. I decided to illegally split lanes on My BMW bike and this guy in the right lane swerved into me and bumped my right saddlebag hard enough to make the bike jump sideways. But i did not go down and ended up having the guy trapped at a traffic light farther up the road. The driver, a young ginger, tried to fob it off as his being “startled” by my passing. I gave him a serious dressing down, scared him enough that he admitted he wanted to “teach me a lesson”. I let it go at the dressing down, but the pistol in the fairing cubby was calling out to me and it took discipline not to reach for it!

  9. “Most of us have encountered Crum’s type at one point or another. “

Unfortunately, many of them work for the police departments.

  10. Just the other day I was behind a slow poker in a Camry about a quarter mile before I knew that the two lane road was going to merge into one lane. I decided that I wanted to move a bit faster than 5 mph under the speed limit, so I just casually went around this guy with at least 100 feet or so to spare before the two lanes zippered into one.

Well, the dude leaned on his horn as I passed and gave me the middle finger. He was ranting and raving out the window at me as I pulled away from him. Sure enough, when the cars all merged into one lane, there was about a fifteen car line backed up behind him.

Now I did NOTHING wrong, NOTHING illegal and NOTHING that was unsafe. Why should this driver even care that I passed him? Because he’s a control freak who enjoys inconveniencing others, that’s why. He’s not on the level of the despicable Mr. Crum yet, but they’re out there. And there are a lot of them.

    • I got a better one. I may have told this before.

Main arterial rightmost right turn lane once around the corner becomes a right turn lane into a big box store. There are two straight lanes that become one just beyond the store. Mr. and Mrs. Clover are in front of me. They turn right and accelerate slowly into the (right) straight lane. My destination is the big box store. I turn tight into the right turn lane. I have passed mr. and mrs. clover when I hear a blaring horn. We are the only two on the road. I stop. They stop. I ask what the problem. Mrs. Clover (from the passenger seat, oh they were about 80 driving a caddy) yells something about me passing them. I yell back, that I am going to the store. I then continue. My lane didn’t even go the same direction and how dare I pass them.

  11. This!!!
Its the fault of a system – the government – that creates the necessary conditions for social friction, with its inevitable consequences.

  12. There’s another cloverific story out there today, about a four year-old girl who was shot in a road-rage incident. The eyewitness statement is that a red pickup truck in which the girl was riding was repeatedly swerving back and forth across the lanes to prevent a red car from passing it. Eventually the driver of the red car shot into the truck and killed the girl.

I would not vote to convict the shooter if I were on his jury. If the ‘crime of passion’ defense works when a man finds his wife with another man, and if a getaway driver who never leaves the car is as guilty of murder as the bank robber who kills the security guard, then the girl’s father, who was driving the truck, is at least as complicit in her death as the shooter. The girl was an innocent bystander; her father was the proximate cause of her death.

      • HHmmmmm, Coors…….Unser…….think I may have a clue. Seriously though, the only shootings allowed in Albuquerque are by the armed pheroes….or beat downs……or vehicular assault.

    • I’d send the shooting driver to the gas chamber w/o any compunction, and the asshole dad that is complicit to PRISON…death is appropriate for the one, but too good for the other…let him mentally suffer by knowing that HE is responsible for his child’s untimely demise, and if he offs himself in the can, so be it.

  13. On the subject of the double yellow lines:

They should only exist in places where passing would be a bad idea. Like on curves, blind spots, weird rises etc. Now that they are everywhere, they are MORE likely to be ignored by people trapped behind slow drivers. So you don’t really know where the most hazardous spots are on a unfamiliar road. So you may, by accident pick a hazardous place to pass because it may not look bad.

I will argue that more double yellows make a road less safe then more safe. Unless there is a physical road condition that would require a double yellow (police revenue is NOT a physical reason), ALL of the rest should be a passing zone. Most of the one side only passing should be removed (unless it is a physical reason) and replaced with both side passing too.

Proper passing should be part of driver training, and the ridiculous no speeding rule repealed and replaced with a get yourself out of oncoming traffic as soon as you can rule. If you go faster you also put yourself further ahead of the person you are passing too.

    • Rich the 2X yellow only serve 1 purpose, the imposition of state’s will upon your actions, and to rob you of your most precious possession, that of time. Sanity does not prevail with clovers, who unfortunately are now in control of most gov’t agencies that interact with the public.

Nor do the clovers want proper driver’s ed, because the drivers would then be questioning the state’s decisions in traffic matters.

      • In threads elsewhere on this story people were acting like the government actually had caring expert people decide where the passing zones ware to be. Decades ago yeah, maybe. Today it often seems to be the decision of the guy painting the stripes. They just double yellow everything by default. Not many roads hold their passing zones after the stripes get repainted unless there are signs. If the signs are there, it remains. No signs? Stripe crew decided not change the pattern. Double yellow the whole way.

  14. This Crum psychopath is government personified.

The essence of every politician or hero, is their willingness to put you in peril in service of “the law” and their delusion of what constitutes the “public good.”

It is only the lifetime of humiliation and debilitation that blinds you to how feeble and toxic all so called “politics” really is.

If you take away the violence, it’s empty lunacy would be obvious.

No one comes here to argue about astrology. Though astrologers are no more noble or heroic than politicians and bureaucrats.

Astrologers don’t organize and paint yellow lines and put up signs so everywhere you are forced to serve Scorpios or Aries or face fines and imprisonment.

But each philosophy is no better than the other.

You don’t quote astrologers or look up to them. Yet you do quote their political equivalents who are equally deluded, and violent and psychotic to add insult to injury.

I mean, take Patrick Henry. An a$$hole in funny pants who said “gibs me liberty.”
    https://i.imgflip.com/swoup.jpg

Are you seriously impressed by this? Gibs me f*@k!ng liberty? Wake up man!

We all retreat into fantasies, because the truth is hard to take. But its time.

The only reason we give any credence to governing “rules of law” and institutions of tyranny, is because we’re all plucked chickens held around our necks by Stalins like this Crum guy, and we’re all too damned ashamed to admit it.

Clovers like Crum clump together and become idiotic herds and run roughshod over everything decent and human in the world. They are our enemies, and there can be no compromise or avoiding of this horrific reality.

We have no property, rights, or accomplishments to call our own. Because everywhere there is a Clover laying in wait, eager to cross the double yellow line of mandated behaviors and knock you into a ditch to cripple you for life or make you die a horrible death, because “it’s the law” and doing such a thing is what “makes America great.”

The Clovers are nothing to you, and it is only the use of force that makes you act against yourself, and start thinking you have anything in common with them.

The first step is seeing how miserable and pathetic you are, and then resolve to improve yourself and find ways to avoid or thwart these Clovers so you can at last enjoy the peaceful and prosperous life you deserve because of all the value you create and the many true relationships that you’re involved in with actual human beings that matter.

    • Hi Pedro,

Yup – dude is lucky he didn’t get his head caved in. If he’d done that to me, I doubt I could have restrained myself.

      • Certain loosely organized groups of motorcycle “enthusiasts ” are well known for dishing out some street justice to Crum’s type. Riding in packs and announcing ones intentions via conspicuous display works well. As an individual rider of 44 years experience I could bore you all to death with my stories of clover encounters, but I would like to say that as a 16 year old on my very first ride an oncoming car turned left in front of me and nearly wrecked me.
        K-

  15. more likely – they simply can’t abide the idea of being passed.

That. They get into a rage even if passed legally when they are going under the PSL.

As those here know I am also a vehicular bicyclist and obey the vehicle code 100% so people can’t hide behind the law or some violation on my part. It doesn’t stop drivers like Crum from enforcing their own personal idea of the vehicle code. I swear I’m the only one who’s actually read it. The cops certainly haven’t. I’ve had drivers nearly kill me and then their excuse is ‘bicyclists don’t obey the law’ like what other people do is the reasoning to kill me. Group think, again promoted by state, evident in Crum’s words.

The only reason Crum is being charged is because of the video and saying the wrong thing. Before the age where video could be everywhere Crum would not be charged. He’s probably gotten away with behaviors like this several times.

    • We have too many “busy bodies” in our society. Most of the time in the past, they were seen as the harmless crackpots that they are. They are the ones calling police over stupid things that don’t involve themselves, saying unwanted stupid things to people that don’t involve themselves. The people making sure people “know the rules”, no matter how stupid the rules are.

When I was a kid back in the bad old 1980’s, we had a old lady neighbor who had 911 on speed dial. Did the police come out every time she called over some stupid stuff? Of course not, it would have been a huge waste of time and 99.99999% of the time police weren’t needed. The dispatchers all knew her and would, most of the time talk her out of the stupidity of the moment. Thankfully she passed before the rules changed requiring police be sent out to every time 911 is dialed.

As the stupid rules of our society have increased to the ridiculous level of today, its only increased the range of busy bodies.

Then we have dangerous busybodies like Crum. Ones that think they are “volunteer” law enforcement. Never mind that even in our growing police state few real police would hit a motorcyclist with his car. Never mind that looking at Crum’s history we find he is hardly housebroken himself. If anything Crum needs to mind his own business first and get his own house in order first, not getting into the business of others.

Its been not noted, that if Crum wasn’t driving so slow to begin with, maybe passing wouldn’t have been necessary to begin with.

We need a lot more “mind your own f***ing business in this country.

      • richb – “we need a lot more myob in this country” is the spot on solution to a lot of petty conflict. “None of your business” or “mind your own damn business” were commonly heard phrases when I was a kid in the 50’s/60’s. Now we have “see something say something” and everyone’s a little shit East German Stasi informer, plus they get to feel all self-righteous while informing you what a bad person you are for ignoring the rules of their god, the state. To hell with all of them.

        • I concur. In Crum’s case though, he’s clearly a psychopath as his record indicates. No telling how many times he’s assaulted someone and it’s not recorded. People like him have always been that way and don’t have the capacity to change. If ever there was a case of justified street justice, it’s that case. Everybody’s a damned videographer now so simply hitting him in the head with a tire knocker just creates another govt. victim.

        • I agree on the MYOB sentiment whole-heartedly. I just read today they’re teaching the kiddies “If you see something, say something” for school situations.

      • Crum created the situation he desired so he could exact some sort of retribution to those whose presence alone offended him. They represented everything he was incapable of having, each other, a good time on a fun machine. Everything he did was calculated.

It’s the reason that if on a lonely road the “news” would have read “Lone motorist found dead beside his car” had he tried that with me and been unsuccessful. FBI’s number one weapons of death, feet and fists.
