Reader Question: ’64 Olds Emblem

Here’s the latest reader question, along with my reply!

Tibor asks: I recently acquired a nice 1964 vista cruiser survivor car but apparently through a car wash both cruiser emblems on the front fenders were broken off and gone forever and am having a difficult time locating replacements is there anyone that could possibly know of a source and I realize I would have to most likely buy a set but thats ok.

My reply: I’d start with Year One (see here) and then try Olds-specific sources; check Hemmings Motor News classifieds (here) and look under “Oldsmobile.”

I’m betting you’ll find your part – NOS (new old stock), reproduction or used – within a week!
