The Gesundheitsfuhrer of Maine, Janet Mill, has decreed that restaurant workers must henceforth wear a literal dog collar, because a Diaper wasn’t humiliating enough.
These must be “attached at the collar” – woof! woof! – so as to make sure that the wear understands what he’s been reduced to.
How long will it be before people are required to wear a leash? Oh. Yes. That has already been trotted out . . . electronically. What else are the ankle bracelets for those who “test positive” and the use of “contact tracing” and so on?

I’d amend this to: “Eff” the corporations, which are the real enemy at this point. The government no longer has to pass laws – thereby eliminating accountability to the voters, even if only slightly. Instead, get the corporations to enact “policies.” It works more effectively than a law, because there’s no appeal – “private property”- and misguided people will even defend the corporations on that score.

I think Ken was right — they’re going to come for us all sooner or later. I don’t think any of the ‘doomsday preppers’ (as intelligent/smart as they are) are going to survive on their own for more than a year tops, and the world will not be “all better” by then, there will not be a “great reset”, that is just wishing, the dictatorship criminals are not going to go away, everything will just be WORSE, their troops will eventually come for the preppers — probably much sooner than later. So by everyone doing their own thing (prepping/homesteading), instead of organizing their neighborhoods/towns/counties into real communities, all the ‘doomsday prepping’ is just prologing the death sentence of all of us. If we, as a country, as a population of people (including ‘sheeple’), were to organize, we could have a ‘Star Trek’ future, but since everyone has given up on civilization itself, that is sealing our fate to be a ‘Mad Max’ future. So I think we should not give up just because there’s alot of ‘sheeple’ around… at least they’re not the perps, they’re not the ones that are wrecking our countries, they’ll follow any leader, so we sane ppl left need to be the leaders. What the world needs now is leadership — organizing towns/counties outside of the current regime/system.

Do you remember the Free State Project by any chance? I remember when the organizers were just getting word out there, casting around for the right place and trying to get things rolling. It was one of the better ideas I’d heard and seemed to actually have its Scheiß together. I was actually making plans to relocate.
And then, as happens every single time, infighting and possible corruption (and probable infiltration) made it fall completely apart. The “movement” continued, I believe, but as a pale shadow of the initial idea. It accomplished exactly nothing.
I’m not sure what the answer might be, or if there even is one, but it appears organized movements make easy targets of themselves that are then reduced to utter ineffectiveness.

Infiltration by governments is real and is a way for them to defuse ANY realistic movement to “take back” power that (is supposed to) reside with the people.
The Oklahoma City bombing was a government response to the growing militia movement, which was a reaction to the government abuses at Waco and Ruby Ridge. There is no way a “truck bomb” could inflict the amount of damage to the building. Not only that, the way the “trial” of McVeigh and Nichols was handled speaks VOLUMES. Introducing into evidence the “testimonies” of survivors and serial numbers of the rear axle of the truck into evidence shows the paucity of REAL evidence. It was a government operation from the get-go. McVeigh and Nichols were “patsies” set up to take the fall. The Oklahoma City bombing was the catalyst for the destruction of the militia movement. It is no secret that almost every counter-government movement has been infiltrated by federal “letter agency” types and is not to be trusted. This is the way government has been able to keep “we the people” from exercising our Constitutional rights.

I have lost friends and even some relatives just from showing concern about the way this country is going. They just don’t want to acknowledge that the government and its minions are the enemy. Anny, You’re throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Local gov is the one you’re most likely to have friends and fellow patriots on. The further up the system you go, of course, the less likely that is. At the federal level the best we’ve had lately was Ron Paul, and now perhaps Thomas Massie. But at your city/town level, you might want to get to know them. They might be friends and assets. Otherwise, we CAN all hang separately…
You make a good point. The feds and state officials are not to be trusted, although local officials can make your life a living hell just because they can. Local officials have police-friendly prosecutors who will look the other way when local officials “sicc” the police on you for nonexistent “infractions”.
In my case, a personal situation was the “code enforcement” harassment that us whites who lived in Detroit endured. We always used the city-supplied trash containers (one for every two residences). Our black “neighbors” were too lazy to put their trash in the containers, strewing their trash throughout the alleys. Guess who got repeatedly ticketed for “improperly disposed of trash”? It wasn’t the blacks who improperly disposed of their trash–it was us whites. It was as if they (the black-run city government) wanted us to move…
As far as I am concerned, NO government officials can be trusted.

Of course – because thieves cannot be trusted. Every government official is a thief. Also a person who knows his authority over you is based on the threat of violence rather than your willingness to pay for his “services.”
This is why I take the position that services should replace government – and those services should be like any other. You want ’em, you can pay for ’em and if you don’t want ’em they cannot force you to pay for ’em.
A perfect solution?
Of course not. Though that is the usual criticism. But it’s a faulty premise since no one is advocating utopia and – more to the point – the current system is far from being utopian.
But what I advocate has the advantage of being inherently safer for the individual, who is no longer at the legal mercy of vast, intangible collectives over which he has no control.
