Well, the Motor Gods have answered my prayers – twice!
This past week, they sent me the Mustang Mach 1 to lift my spirits, severely sagging after weeks of crossover SUVs and Face Diapered Freaks. This coming week, they are sending me a Dodge Hellcat Redeye.
This thing is the ultimate and perhaps final expression of the muscle car idea. A big, hulking American car with am equally hulking – and 797 horsepower supercharged Hemi V8 – capable of 203 MPH on top and a 10 second quarter mile. It has the power to get air in the front wheels – and that’s no joke.
I may need lawyers, guns and money.
But it ought to be a good week!
