Voting . . .

Voting is painful for me – almost like going to see the dentist.

One the one hand, I wish our rights were not up for a vote; that I didn’t have to worry about someone else being in a position to simply pull a lever (or tap a screen) to take my money – or my liberty – away.

On the other hand, if by voting I can prevent my money or my liberty being taken away – and yours, also – then it seems okay to vote in favor of that.

Of course, you’re usually not voting just for that. Hence the uneasiness of libertarians regarding voting.

Which has become a lot like buying a new car – and specifically, buying new car options. Which are plural, usually. The thing you want is bundled with things you may not want. The sunroof is part of a package. If you want that, you’ve got to buy this and that too.

It’s worse with voting, of course, because the package you’re stuck with costs more than just money for features you didn’t want. It is probably also going to end up costing someone else their rights – as well as yours.

Even as you’re voting to protect yours – and theirs.

This is so because casting a ballot is – among other things – the endowing of an official with essentially unrestricted proxy power to “represent” you . . . without any formal requirement that he is, in fact, representing you.

Even if he wanted to – exactly in accordance with your specific wishes – the thing is mechanically impossible. How does one person “represent” the will of even half a dozen different men and women? Let alone the thousands (if not tens of thousands) who vote in most congressional races and the millions who vote for senators, governors and presidents?

Even with the very best of intentions, the best that can be expected/hoped-for is that the person who is voted in will try to avoid acting in such a way as to violate the rights of any of the people who voted for him. And even those who didn’t vote for him.

But he is not obliged to act in that way.

This is arguably the fundamental problem with voting for “representatives.”

These people we vote for cannot “represent” everyone – so they end up representing some ones. These usually being the ones who were most helpful to the candidate seeking election; i.e., those who furnished him money – and such people tend to get what they paid for.

A very good example of this being the people representing the pharmaceutical companies who contributed very large sums to the presidential campaign effort of the Orange Man, the first time around.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. details how these people were represented by the Orange Man.

In brief, the people who represented the interests of the pharmaceutical cartels were appointed to key positions in the federal apparat that “regulates” – would you believe it? – vaccines, among other things. They got what they paid for. And the Orange Man – who had met with RFK, Jr., prior to meeting with the representatives of the pharmaceutical cartels – stopped meeting with RFK, Jr. Whom the Orange Man had previously promised he would look into making available to researchers data pertaining to negative side effects of the pharmaceutical cartel’s meds, so that the public would be better-informed about the pros and cons of these meds.

I voted for the Orange Man. But I didn’t vote for that.

Sigh.

But what was the alternative?

There is an argument in libertarian circles that a vote for any office-seeker is inherently a vote for the system that puts people’s rights on the ballot. That, by voting – however well-intended – the evil of the system is not merely perpetuated but anointed.

You voted, after all.

There is truth in this. If enough people stopped voting to take away other people’s rights – even if they didn’t actually vote for that – it would become much harder for “representatives” to violate people’s rights.

But there is also truth in lying to a cop, if it will help you avoid your rights being trampled.

It is a kind of gaslighting to blame the person who votes to protect his – and your  – rights when the person he voted for – to not violate anyone’s rights – ends up acting in a way that violates the rights of others. No one is responsible for the actions of someone else – even if they voted for them. Particularly, if they voted for them to not violate anyone’s rights. If rights are subsequently violated, that was an unavoidable part of the bundle – the package – they were stuck “buying.”

It  does not mean they wanted to buy it.

I have no desire to ever travel on an ocean liner. But if I found myself on one and the thing hit an iceberg, I wouldn’t bitch about the poor ship-handling skills of the captain or the crappy design of the hull. I’d do all I could in that moment to salvage what could be salvaged – in the hope of surviving. I’d “vote” for the lifeboats to be lowered and for as many people to board as possible – even if a few Bruce Ismays sneaked on board.

Voting will be a problem for as long as it is possible to vote to take away other people’s rights. That will only change when people’s minds change. But until they do, it’s no sin to vote to try to protect people’s rights – even if the person you voted for decides not to.

Thus, this coming Tuesday, I will hold my nose (and show my face) and vote in Virginia’s gubernatorial race. Not so much for Glenn Youngkin, the Republican candidate – but against the Leftist candidate, Clinton fixer Terry McAuliffe. The latter promising to do to people’s rights what the iceberg did to the Titanic. Youngkin isn’t a libertarian. But he might – like one of those lifeboats – keep things afloat.

I’ll vote for that.

  1. Another issue that unites globalists is climate change. Globalists argue that climate change is too important to trust to voters in individual countries. Climate change is the perfect cover for globalism because combating it requires an internationally coordinated policy run by elites.

Their real agenda is to define a “global problem” so they can advance “global solutions” such as world governance, world taxation and world rule by elites. It doesn’t matter that the actual science behind hysterical climate alarmism is extremely weak.

Unfortunately, the media, corporations, governments and international organizations are run mostly by globalists.

And many of them are working hard to silence dissent. We’re in a Brave New World.

  2. I’d just like to remind everyone that you’re not actually voting — they fraud all elections. Well, most of them, the ones that matter to them. The entire election process in America is completely dishonest & unfair. It has zero “integrity” — they love that word integrity because it’s vague and no-one really knows what it means.

Also, all of these Hitlers across America were not even elected by the people, because the Hitlers have been massively frauding our elections for at least 25 years now. So, you can’t blame the people for these Hitlers. We don’t even know who the people really voted for. Also, even if some people voted for a Hitler, they did NOT vote for what laws the Hitler made — the Hitlers always lie to the people making false promises. So the people got bamboozled in either case.

The only way to run a real society is for the people to vote on every agenda item, law, and public service. That’s it. No more dictators making up the agenda & laws and making the decisions for the people. All dictatorships are ALWAYS criminal. This is the law of physics.

Elections/voting is the foundation of society / civilization itself. Yet on planet Earth, not one single country has honest elections yet. This is the source of all problems in the world. There is no actual society … there are only dictatorships… and dictatorships are not a society at all. The definition of a society is for the fair majority of the people to have power & control by making the decisions (voting). Dicatorships are not even a society. We are all living in a peasant/prison system.

    • Hi Harry,

I don’t disagree fundamentally with any of the points you’ve made. That said, I do think that it is worth voting in a situation such as the current one in VA – if only because fraud will be more apparent if the loathsome Clinton Creature “wins” the (s)election.

      • Thanks Eric. Yeah, you may be right about that. You’re smart. As much as I loathe the idea of even participating in a rigged game, I guess you have nothing to lose. We should run every strategy we can.

        • Thanks, Harry…

I figure we haven’t much to lose. The vote will occur, regardless. And if we don’t vote, it is nonetheless certain they will. Another way to think about voting is to think about a leaking roof. A new roof is necessary, but it’s pouring and it’ll have to wait. But you want to limit the damage, so you place a tarp or similar over the shingles, to mitigate the damage until you can get the roof fixed.

    blackface the most hated leader?

blackface is the worst thing to happen to canada

Nortel was the most powerful internet company in the world, handling 70% of the worlds internet traffic. They were the jewel of the tech world, and they were Canadian.

Starting in 2004, Nortel began being infiltrated by the Communist Government of China. Using all of the Intellectual Property stolen from Nortel, Huawei was born. Hauwei proceeded to bid against every Nortel opportunity, and using their own technology, by 2009, Nortel was bankrupt.

Canada was the global leader in technology. Now those billions of dollars and ultimately 100’s of 1000’s of high paid, highly skilled employees, along with world leading Canadian technology, now belonged to China.

Shortly after the bankruptcy of Nortel, in 2010, The director of CSIS, TEN YEARS AGO, in an unprecedented move, came on CBC News and warned us that our government is being infiltrated by hostile foreign nations.

From the very top, our Government has been completely infiltrated by the Communist Government of China. These senior officials are either directly complicit in the motives of China, or are direct agents of the Chinese Government and Communist Party.

Justin Trudeau has sent $100’s of Millions of dollars to China. Under the guise of “climate change” and “women’s health”.

We now know that Communist China also gave the Canadian Dominion voting machine company a $400 million financial boost through a Swiss bank account, belonging to the Chinese government.

As for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his role in the massive US election fraud, was to harbor the George Soros linked criminal election rigging Dominion voting machine company and let them commit criminal activity, across the US border, which could pretty much be considered as Canada committing an act of war on American independence and democracy,

blackface and xiden are owned by china………china only has an injection rate of about 3% and does not inject it’s military.
U.S. and canada inject their military with the lethal experimental gene extermination therapy.
the hospitals are filling up with the injected. when the injections started the death rate jumped up.
in the next war china wins.

ATTENTION china is not using the mrna experimental gene altering injections, they have only 3% of their population injected, no mandates, they don’t inject their military (in the next war they will win because their army is healthy).

the experimental gene therapy extermination injection is being used in the U.S., canada, australia, new zealand, europe, these countries have a high % injected, ( lots of countries are below 1% injected).the white people are the first target for extermination.

The Prophecy of a KGB Agent
a 1985 interview of Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB agent who defected to the West in 1970.

The interview is about the Soviet Union’s (today china’s ccp style government together with the bankster/wef/un/.0001% great reset, globalist, new world order central government worldwide) strategy to subvert the United States and all countries worldwide. It is eye-opening and I wish to share a quote here first:

“Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students, without being challenged or counter-balanced by the basic values of Americanism and American patriotism … The demoralization process in the United States is basically completed already … Most of it is done by Americans to Americans thanks to lack of moral standards.

As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures. Even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camp he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom. When the military boot crashes him, then he will understand, but not before that. That’s the tragic of the situation of demoralization.”

What Mr. Bezmenov described 35 years ago is unfolding in front of our very eyes. To me, what is most alarming is that the demoralization is mostly “done by Americans to Americans due to lack of moral standards.” Actually, as Bezmenov pointed out, “for the last 25 years, actually it’s over-fulfilled because the demoralization now reaches such areas where previously not even Comrade Andropov [KGB leader during 1967–1982] and all his experts would even dream of such a tremendous success.”

According to Bezmenov, only 10 to 15 percent of the KGB’s personnel and resources were allocated to traditional clandestine espionage in James Bond’s style, with the rest going to “legitimate, overt, and open” ideological subversion. He said that subversion happens in four stages: demoralization, destabilization, crisis, and “normalization.”

The first stage, lasting for about 15 to 20 years, the period of time needed to raise a generation, is to brainwash the public with communist ideology. Manipulation of the media and academia is required for this purpose.

The second stage focuses on throwing society into chaos, and it usually takes 2-5 years. During this stage, the status quo in economy, foreign relations, and defense systems are changed. The establishment promises all kinds of goodies in order to win people’s support for creating a massive government that is intrusive to people’s lives. Media and academia are also essential to make it successful.

The third stage instigates a crisis that leads to a civil war, revolution, or foreign invasion. This stage only took 2-6 months.

This is the stage when the leftist idealists, or “useful idiots,” are no longer needed, because they would be disillusioned, become obstacles, push back, turn against the new government. They are going to be eliminated, exiled, or imprisoned. note: this is the interesting part, when the communists takeover, leftist idealists, or “useful idiots,” who helped the communists are exterminated. for one they know too much.

it happened in Grenada, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and China. “It is the same pattern everywhere,” said Bezmenov. when the communists takeover leftist idealists, or “useful idiots,” who helped the communists are exterminated.

These three steps culminate in the fourth and final stage of “normalization”—the populace begins to accept and assimilate communism. This final stage can take up to 20 years to complete.

The amazing book, “How the Specter of Communism Is Ruling Our World,” gives a comprehensive analysis of the non-violent infiltration of communism in the West. In 1884, a year after Karl Marx’s death, the British Fabian Society was founded to bring about communism gradually. p. e. trudeau brought fabian communism to canada.

It encourages its members to advance socialist aims by joining suitable organizations and ingratiating themselves with important figures, such as cabinet ministers, senior administrative officials, industrialists, university deans, and church leaders. Since then, many American intellectuals began accepting communist ideas or its Fabian socialist variant.

The 1960s counterculture movement produced a large number of young anti-traditional students who were influenced greatly by cultural Marxism and Frankfurt School theory. After graduation, they entered the institutions with the most influence over society and culture, such as universities, news media, government agencies, and non-profits.

What guided them at that time was mainly the theory of “the long march through the institutions” proposed by Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci. This “long march” aimed to alter the most important traditions of western civilization. As a result, generations of young people have been indoctrinated with the communist ideology.
Why are Intellectuals So Prone to Communism?

Intellectuals tend to be fooled by radical ideologies. This phenomenon has drawn the attention of scholars. British historian Paul Johnson found that radical intellectuals share the fatal weaknesses of arrogance and egocentrism.

Founding Father John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Interestingly enough, a ruthless communist dictator, Joseph Stalin, echoed his point from another angle, “America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.”

part of the nwo/ccp/who.0001% great reset agenda is to put in place china’s ccp style government all around the world with central control.

globalist/nwo/wef/who cabal who is in it? the elite nobility/.0001% billionaires and their huge corporations, big tech, big pharma, big oil, big media (all the media, fa//ce..book, google, twitter), big banks, china was chosen to lead it. (they believe in slavery, transhumanism, fake science).

politicians are scared of romanian solution

      1989: Romania’s ‘first couple’ executed
Deposed Romanian president Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena have been shot by a firing squad after a secret military tribunal found them both guilty of crimes against the state.

They were charged and convicted of genocide and undermining the national economy among a series of other offences, officials said.

News of their death was announced to the people of Romania on national television amid reports the couple had been found smuggling large amounts of money out of the country.

A stunned reaction from the public gave way to scenes of delight and a public outpouring on the streets to celebrate.

But there was some unrest from troops who supported the former leader.

The deaths end the dictator’s 24 years as communist party leader – 21 of them as Romania’s president – during which he suppressed all opposition using brutal force.

The National Salvation Front is now running Romania, and America and the Soviet Union have recognised the new government.

But the White House said it was “regrettable” the trial had not been held in public.

      Christmas celebrated

The new government has pledged democracy will replace the tyranny of Ceausescu’s rule and promised to allow free speech, free thought and free enterprise in Romania.

Party leaders called on the West to aid and support its new reform programme.

The executions come after 10 tumultuous days of violence and an upsurge of mass protests against Ceausescu’s regime.

Demonstrations began in the western city of Timisoara against the harassment of a dissident ethnic-Hungarian priest, Laszlo Tokes.

It led to protests about a lack of basic supplies such as bread but the backlash from Ceausescu’s armed forces led to accusations many people were massacred.

Demonstrators stormed Ceausescu’s palace and he and his wife tried to flee Bucharest but they were captured by military forces who had turned against them

  5. is the Janet Yellen proposal to tax all appreciated value on a house. Failure to pay, or the inability to pay can result of forfeiture of one’s home. What will they do with these homes? My contention is that this is one more strategy to remove home ownership from as many Americans as possible. It appears that the quasi-social credit system will, in part accomplish the same.

After the homes are seized what will happen to the properties? These soon-to-be vacant homes, would make ideal residences for new residents, like illegal immigrants and Chinese citizens who have come to America and Australia, simultaneously.

someone said the illegal immigrants are the replacement for people fired over no injection….

  7. For few years I was a bit of a purist when it came to not voting I believed it did nothing but legitimize a crooked system (which is mostly true) > did also conclude that if elections didn’t matter, then why do leftists work so hard to subvert and infiltrate the political systems. Also 97% of the population thinks elections and political solutions are ALL that matters. Justlook at the right wing/libertarian forums where people are attending protests at the capital to beg their masters for permission to be free. There are thousands of solutions to our ills that don’t involve ticking a box. Voting is just one way of alleviating the force exerted on oneself, and not a very effective one. You’re really only voting for the one who “sucks less” and nothing more.
Having said that I will vote for the next ______. When I think of the drug and firearm laws that have changed in favor of more freedom I know it is not totally useless.
Leftists authrotarians have infiltrated multiple institutions, cultures and industries over a series of decades. Use whatever you can to maintain amd change whatever you can.

  8. Great essay. As someone who has killed 25-26 deer, I can say that hunting puts one in touch with “real reality.” You are killing an animal that wants to live. I don’t enjoy “killing” — I enjoy a “successful hunt.” I enjoy being able to provide my own food.

The other aspect of “real reality” that non-hunters are clueless about (as they ride mobility scooters through the grocery store to “buy” prepackaged meat with EBT cards) is how much WORK it is — scouting deer, spending all day in the cold and the elements, and how much physical labor it takes to drag a deer out of the woods, load it into your truck, hang it and butcher it. And that is nothing compared to the work involved in quartering and packing out an elk.

Our pioneer forefathers were hunters. The American frontier of the 18th and 19th century sure as hell wasn’t Disneyland. But our pioneer forefathers were much freer than us…

      • Sorry, I meant to post that to the other article in which you made the comparison between the hunter and the store-bought meat. I needed more coffee this morning.

But I had a hell of a tasty venison pot roast for dinner!

  9. Dark Winter 2.0 coming your way.

Now there is a terror threat, confirmed, for NOVA. On the weekend, just before the vote on Tuesday. So the terrorists, the real terrorists, are now occupying US territory, throwing their weight around to influence election outcomes. Maybe so.

Fear is a good tool to use to steal another election.

The voters get another beating to improve their morale. Of course there is always your feet, you can vote with them. There is always the bullet in place of the ballot. Kind of messy, don’t want to go there.

If voting mattered, you wouldn’t be able to vote.

    • Hi libertyx,

I agree with you – in principle. The problem is the Constitution has been “interpreted” to justify all kinds of things. It is the inherent problem of the thing. What constitutes “general welfare”? Or “necessary and proper”? Lawyers wrote the thing so as to end run the thing.

My point is that voting to protect one’s rights does not implicate one in the subsequent violation thereof by the person who was voted in. If I give my girlfriend $100 to buy groceries for us and she decides to buy herself some clothes, that isn’t my bad. It would be hers.

      • Hi Eric,

It is evident that the current political/governing system is broken.

        Some reasons:
        1) Lack of sufficient participation in the process by We The People.
        Voting only, isn’t enough.
        2) Corrupt two-party system – brought about by number 1.
        3) Public (propaganda) schools.

  11. wow you’re in a tough spot Eric. On another note, I finally watched V is for Vendetta…. man where is V. and man how asleep do people have to be to not realise whats happening today when they basically made a MOVIE about it!!! But have to say – the ending scenes did bring tears to my eyes….

  12. Hi Eric. “Thus, this coming Tuesday, I will hold my nose (and show my face) and vote in Virginia’s gubernatorial race. Not so much for Glenn Youngkin, the Republican candidate – but against the Leftist candidate, Clinton fixer Terry McAuliffe. The latter promising to do to people’s rights what the iceberg did to the Titanic. Youngkin isn’t a libertarian. But he might – like one of those lifeboats – keep things afloat.”

This expresses my thoughts exactly. Youngkin is an underwhelming candidate, but we might experience some relief if he is governor. If McAuliffe gets into office, Virginia will be royally screwed. The last time he was governor, we had a Republican legislature to limit the damage he could do. This time, the Marxocrats in the legislature will do nothing to stop his inevitable excesses.

On a related note, I will happily vote for Winsome Sears for lieutenant governor.

  13. What’s with these exemptions, special people don’t get culled…..

Report: Ivermectin used by 100+ members of Congress and their staff, they get ivermectin, you get the slow kill machine injection, it is very safe and affective, it sterilizes you and kills you, the end….

    1. The White House 2. The CDC 3. The FDA 4. The WHO 5. Pfizer 6. Moderna 7. Johnson & Johnson 8. U.S. postal service

ATTENTION: in australia all doctors are exempt from injection.
i would bet the doctors in other countries are exempt too, that explains why they don’t say one word about the injections, they don’t care and are probably paid well to cooperate.

a scientist working on gene modification says he only has a piece of paper saying he is injected (faked)….haha….sounds like the scientists are exempt…
NOTE: sounds like the exempted ones get a passport saying they are injected, but aren’t….so they can dine out etc.

the nurses aren’t exempt, when the population is reduced 90% (the wef goal) less nurses are needed, same applies to enforcers, plus they will be replaced by robots soon, they are cheaper and follow any order. some of them are starting to push back because they are getting mandated now, joining with the little people on the bottom.

The Governor of Virginia is making all Commonwealth employees take the jab or be fired.

NOW ALSO: Members of Congress, their staff, and federal court system employees are exempt from the Biden administration’s new vaccine mandates,

another exempt group: U.S. postal service

    NBA players are exempt

ATTENTION NOTE: if you have a lot of money you can probably buy a faked exemption like the exempt get.

‘In June 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt signed into law the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906, also known as the “Wiley Act” after its chief advocate, Harvey Washington Wiley. The Act prohibited, under penalty of seizure of goods, the interstate transport of food that had been “adulterated.”

‘President Franklin Democrat Roosevelt signed the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act into law on June 24, 1938. The new law significantly increased federal regulatory authority over drugs by mandating a pre-market review of the safety of all new drugs.’

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_and_Drug_Administration

Eff ’em all: Harvey Washington Wiley; Ted Roosevelt; Frank Roosevelt.

Fedgov poseurs, poisoners and prostitutes; wholly corrupted.

If FDR were still around, I’d kick over his wheelchair, sending him sprawling helplessly into the gutter. Then I’d stomp his Bakelite cigarette holder into powder.

  14. I wish we could vote for “None of the Above.” I would enthusiastically attend every election if this was a choice.
But no way in hell any government is going to allow that to happen. Mr. NOTA would win almost every election, from local dog catcher to US president. It would expose the thing that politicians don’t like to talk about: Most Americans hate them and wish they would go away.
When they hold forth about having a “mandate” due to winning an election, it’s a lie. About 1/5 of adult Americans aren’t even registered to vote. And then only about 1/2 of the ones who are registered bother to show up for most elections. Winning a plurality of the votes that do get cast in no way means you or your ideas are popular. A lot of us have just given up. Caring about this shit consumes too much energy and we get sick of being asked to choose between the Turd Sandwich and the Giant Douche.
Adding “NOTA” to the ballots would be an interesting social experiment.

    • None of the Above.

That’s why Brewster’s Millions was one of my favorite movies. Where Richard Pryor runs for mayor of New York with a “none of the above ticket”.

Speaking of voting, can we vote to be transported to a time and place where you can get a 65 Pontiac for $2250 like the above picture?

    • Absolutely, Amy! I agree.

“NOTA” would likely win nearly every time, especially lately.

And should “NOTA” win, the candidates should be considered null and void, and other candidates would have to be nominated for election.

    • Well, you could do like I did and BE none of the above… Run for some office promising to do little or nothing unless something is being repealed. Think about it- the system is evil but you can put caltrops in its path.

      • Hi Ernie,

I sometimes think of offering myself up for some local office; it’s an appalling prospect. But at least I’d have little to do – because I wouldn’t do a damn thing I wouldn’t want done to me!

        • Eric, even if you did manage to win the popularity contest, unless you spent most of your time engaged in fund raising, virtue signaling, and photo ops, you’d not get back in. That’s simply the nature of a corrupt and corrupting system.

Someone once said that if we just paid who ever won the popularity contest 100 million a year to do nothing, it would be FAR less expensive and damaging to the country than the current system. But its not just about money. Some people have a deep seated drive to control other people.

Politics is about power, as well as money. Its a scam that goes back thousands of years. While it may be “Good to be the King!” Its even better to own the King (as do the central banks and their cartel). That way, when the rabble eventually come for the King, those behind them slip away into the shadows, and wait for the next King to arise and buy them. Rinse and repeat, over and over and over.

  15. An honest election with dominion voting machines?

We now know that Communist China also gave the Canadian Dominion voting machine company a $400 million financial boost through a Swiss bank account, belonging to the Chinese government.

will china interfere with this election?

As for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his role in the massive US electi on fraud, was to harbor the George Soros linked criminal election rigging Dominion voting machine company and let them commit criminal activity, across the US border, which could pretty much be considered as Canada committing an act of war on American independence and democracy, along with China.

At this point, if not quickly rectified along with full collaboration with the US government, President Trump would have been within his right to militarily attack Canada.

Also Justin Trudeau is looking into rigging the next Canadian election in his favor, with the help of those same rigged voting machines. (they are used in provincial elections already). Done deal now, too late.

George Soros’ son was seen at the Dominion company, along with Justin Trudeau, who we also know is taking money for his financial racket foundation from Chinese billionaires,

puppets of the communist dictatorial oppressive regime, who also practices human organ trafficking on political and religious prisoners.

We also know that trucks filled with election ballots were caught trying to cross north at the Canada-US border in Michigan, making us all wonder how many truck did disappear north, away from US police jurisdiction, with more President Trump votes.

Justin Trudeau is the biggest shame in Canada and should immediately resign as Prime Minister of Canada and be totally investigated for massive corruption.

Depopulation va//cc……ine advocate Bill Gates also designed the fraudulent election software used by Dominion

    November 25, 2020 Ethan Huff

In a new video, the illustrious Roger Stone drops a major bombshell about Dominion Voting Systems, alleging he has proof that Microsoft, at the direction of billionaire eugenicist Bill Gates, designed the software used to commit election fraud.

The longtime political veteran who is helping spearhead the “Stop the Steal” movement for election integrity in the United States says that Microsoft developed what is known as Election Guard, which is capable of hiding votes, switching votes and altering election outcomes.

Election Guard has “been used by Dominion, as well as Election Services, Hurt Intercivic, Clean Ballot, Election Systems and Hardware, BPro, and Smartmatic,” Stone claims.

“In other words, 100 percent of the voting machines and voting systems in this country are using the same software that Dominion has been using to switch votes.”

For the past several weeks, reports about Dominion’s vote-counting software altering votes have been flooding social media. Numerous sworn affidavits contend that administrators have backdoor access to the systems, allowing them to switch votes at will.

Attorney Sidney Powell, who is working independently on behalf of both President Trump and the American people, says she has in her possession solid proof of this, not to mention the fact that more than 100 Dominion employees have been caught purging their LinkedIn accounts in recent days.

On top of that, Dominion representatives changed their minds at the last minute and decided not to meet with Pennsylvania lawmakers about the allegations, which clearly suggests that they have something to hide.

“The denial by the mainstream media that there’s any evidence whatsoever is ludicrous,” Stone correctly points out, debunking the bizarre and nonsensical media claim that there is “no evidence” of election malfeasance.

“The evidence is overwhelming and compelling. Whether Sidney Powell, a fine attorney who isn’t given to making claims she can’t back up in court, can bring a case without the cooperation of the Central Intelligence Agency and the FBI to come clean remains to be seen.”

Bill Gates’ actions are the epitome of treason
That Bill Gates is connected to Dominion is really no surprise, considering his “philanthropic” organization paid Black Lives Matter (BLM) “students” to count ballots in key battleground states.

The so-called “Campus Vote Project” recruited what were described as “young black students” to flood polling places as poll workers, replacing elderly polling place veterans who were told that it would be too scary to work at them this year due to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).

Gates is also behind the mass va//c…….cination campaign that is being rolled out at “warp speed” to inject the entire world with Co//vi,,,,,,,,d-19 jabs. According to Gates, the world will only be able to return back to “normal” once everyone is va//cc….in,,,,,ated with his “cure.”

The infamous “Antifa U-Haul” incident in Louisville, Ky., has also been linked to Gates, who reportedly funded the shields and other riot gear that was supplied to BLM “protesters” following the Breonna Taylor verdict.

They say that where there is smoke, there is also fire. The same can be said of Bill Gates when it comes to fraud, deception and mass genocide. If evil lurks, Gates is almost certain to be hiding in the shadows.

2020-11-15 update: since 2009, Dominion Voting Systems operated from 215 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON, M5T 2C7,Canada – an office space of the radical Tides Foundation. This building houses (or housed until a few months ago) a Toronto office of Tides Canada and a Tides’ incubation space for leftist groups.

Dominion Voting Systems Corp. is the Canadian company behind the ballot switching software.

Dominion was founded in 2003, with a mission to provide electronic voting systems friendly for progressives. Because of such partisanship, it languished with almost no customers for the next 5-6 years, until the Obama administration came to power.

  16. Maybe vote for the one that will steal the least money (the leftists are the biggest thieves), or the one with no criminal record….

something you have to understand about governments everywhere, they are thieves stealing taxpayers money, they have their hands on the money coming in from taxes, fines or money they borrow, so they steal some and never get caught, they are in control, untouchable. money ends up in their offshore accounts and accounts of friends and family.

Dr. Marc Faber says these governments steal between 5% (honest governments) and 100% (crooked governments) of the money collected, borrowed.

    mullin’s quote
people refuse to believe that we are governed by criminals. I refer you to the opinion of one of the most famous FBI agents, Charlie Winstead, the man who gunned down John Dillinger. In his book, “The Bureau”, William C. Sullivan quotes Charlie Winstead as saying, (P.27),

“When I investigate a man and prove he’s a criminal, if he doesn’t already work for the government, they’ll hire him. If he already has a government job, once they hear he’s a crook they’ll promote him. The criminals in Congress only feel comfortable with other criminals.”

We could not ask for a more qualified source, nor for a more apropos phrase than “the criminals in Congress.” The criminals enact into law program after program to reward their fellow-criminals, and to rob and enslave the workers of America. Anyone who gets in their way is disposed of by the “majesty of the law.

  17. Well, my girlfriend came down with the ‘Rona, and I might, at this time be having mild symptoms of the same.

After ~3 days of sickness, including heavy fatigue, intermittent coughing and aches and pains, my GF says she’s feeling much better. Still coughing a bit, but better.

I have, of course, been bombarding her, and myself, with my arsenal of vitamins and supplements, as well as nasal sprays and irrigation.

We both voted “No” on the Jab, but I feel that soon, with any luck at all, we’ll both have that robust natural immunity. A little suffering first.

Buy the ticket, take the ride.

    • Hi BaDnOn,

Sorry to hear that you and the GF are not feeling well. Best wishes on a speedy recovery for both of you. What concoctions did you try? Which ones do you think helped?

      • Hey RG,

Well, first, my GF seemed better when she woke up, and ready to “go get ’em”. But after getting up to take a bath, she felt a bit nauseous and weak, and went back to bed. We’ll see what happens there.

As far as my list of remedies:
        Monolaurin – 2 grams/day
Oregano Oil capsules- 510 mg, 2/day
        “BioZinc”- 15mg day
        Quercetin- 500 mg/day
        N-Acetyl Cysteine- 1200 mg/ day
        Vitamin C- 4,000 mg/ day
        Licorice Root- 450mg/day
        Saline-buffered Nasal Rinse- 2-3 times/day
Also Xlear nasal spray for GF.
I’m trying Betadine(tm) Cold Defence Nasal Spray

Sorry, but no good science is being done here. Just all out war with everything that has SOME scientific basis. I have noticed the licorice root gives me some feeling of well being after being taken. Might just be illusory, however, and I don’t want to overdo that one.

We’ll see if it hits me today. Took my GF about 3 days after exposure (her daughter, now recovered after 3-4 days) to really feel it, and that’s about where I am.

          • Pff, haha.

Of course! 5,000 IU Vitamin D (+K2) as well, plus a little sun bathing.

Also left out L-Lysine, about 500mg/day, and more if things get worse.

            • I have to cut in on your conversation and recommend NAC to your supplements. 1500 mgs two times per day. This will help keep it out of the lungs.

              Good luck.

              • It’s in my list, Ancap, but thanks.

I’m so far doing “fair”, I don’t have a great deal of energy at this point, but can be up and moving around.

Mostly, it’s felt like a hangover combined with nasal drainage. Unpleasant, but not insurmountable.

    • Sorry to hear about your GF and you having symptoms.

From your list, it looks like you are taking prompt action with a number of helpful treatments.

Others that might interest you, on page 2 of the FLCCC’s early treatment protocol, are aspirin, melatonin, curcumin, nigella sativa (black cumin seed), honey … and of course, ivermectin.

      https://covid19criticalcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/FLCCC-Alliance-I-MASKplus-Protocol-ENGLISH.pdf

      Get well soon!

      • Hey, thanks Anon!

I forgot about melatonin. I’ve been taking 5mg/night. As far as nigella sativa, honey and curcumin, I’ll check that out. Thanks again!

    • Sounds a lot like the flu……. (Of course, when the wildly inaccurate PCR test says that one has the ‘Rona though…) But the flu sucks, and I’m glad she’s feeling better.

      • Hey, Nunz. There is that possibility. And she took a rapid antigen test, so who knows about that. She’s had her ups and downs. Not doing so well today. She keeps vomiting, and it’s leaving her dehydrated. I might just take her to get the monoclonal antibodies.

        • Just a few thoughts, not medical advice… Since you mentioned she is taking the same battery of remedies as you as listed above, it is possible that any one of those or any combination of two/several could possibly cause vomiting. Initial bouts of vomiting you tend to want to let happen to expel what needs to expel. After that, you might want to get her to smoke some weed to calm the stomach and drink plenty of fluids to avoid the dehydration. A lot of times when folks go to the hospital for vomiting, they basically give them anti-nausea drugs that accomplish the same thing.

        • Hi BaDnOn,

Has she taken any of the licorice root? If she doesn’t want to I would suggest a tea of ginger, if you have any lying around. Ginger tea or fresh ginger root to make tea will help to stop the vomiting and reduce the nausea. Fennel or mint tea will also work, but not as well, both will calm her stomach though. Also, a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar will help as well by killing any toxic bacteria in her stomach.

Getting the monoclonal antibodies may not be a bad idea, because she seems to be getting worse. I am assuming everyone’s oxygen levels are okay and there is no lung pain, right?

  18. I find the action of voting similar to signing a tax return. The difference being, goons with guns don’t show up at your door for failing to do the former. So I fail to do so.

  19. All they need you to do is give tacit authority by participating. Voting isn’t a contract with the person or the machine and doing so only serves to recognize and embiggen their usurped authority over you.

The old hippies had it right when they asked rhetorically “What if they threw a war and no one showed up?” Not voting, which Neil Pert so observed, is a vote in-and-of itself against the system. I choose not to recognize the authority of this system devised by man and instead want God-given free will.

Had more people recognized the folly decades ago society could still just walked away from the corruption peacefully. The emperor would have been naked spewing his venom without an audience. The system would have just withered as it should have. But with each election cycle completed (probably this was cemented after WWII between the Cold War and 9/11) the lie is entrenched deeper in our psyche and in application, the inevitability guaranteed now where it’s impossible to escape or avoid the all encompassing web that has been woven.

The elections themselves aren’t even on their face honest anymore. Everyone knows they are lie and the results are pre-determined no different than the worst central American banana republic.

But you still line up to do your civic duty, flag pin proudly affixed, team red or team blue alliances selected.

It’s the same mentality as the COVID. Everyone knows the masks and distancing are theater (or worse, literally Russian roulette with the shots to your health and life) but they still go through the motions hoping that appeasement will just get everyone off your back. You can’t appease them enough and doing it only encourages them to push more.

  20. Amen, I’ve been voting for the “lesser of the evils” in elections for years and am sick of it. After the overwhelming evidence of election fraud in the 2020 Presidential election (and evidence that the Kentucky 2019 governor election was also stolen), I’m seriously thinking that there isn’t any reason to go vote AT ALL.

  21. The 2020 election,,, the ‘failed’ recall in Kalifornica,,, the uselessness of the Arizona audit and the brazenness of McAuliffe pretty well shows the election corruption trend.

In 1981 at age 14 McAuliffe started a business sealing driveways,,, by 1985, 4 whole years, he helped fund the Federal City National Bank. Quite a leap, eh? In 1988 became the chairman.

Younkin being part of the Carliyle Group should be enough to frighten anyone. And claiming he’s not a politician while running for office! Com’on,,, How do you figure he got to be Chairman of Carlyle?

Fighting corruption is impossible when 80% of Americans are corrupt and 19% bribeable.

Good luck! It’s a die if you do and die if you don’t situation.

In my view, after a lifetime of witnessing government abuse, the best government is no government.

    • I got the age wrong…. It was 1971 he started the driveway sealing business. So that means 14 years later he helped fund a bank. I guess sealing driveways is a pretty good business….

  22. There’s no such thing as voting to protect one’s rights when the very purpose of the election one is voting in is to elect someone to an office whose purpose is to perpetuate, guard, and expand the dominion of the system which that office is a part of.
And if politicians can be relied upon to do one thing, and one thing only, it is THAT!

Secondly, no one knows what any candidate will do once in office, as they are all liars. You vote for the one whose lies are more convincing to those whom he is trying to woo by using very carefully crafted professionally written speeches which are designed to evoke images in the head of each and every hearer to make them think that their candidate is saying what ever it is that they imagine his image-evoking words to mean.

And even if the elections weren’t rigged [Seriously, will there ever be another honest election in the USA again?] it wouldn’t matter, because our support-the-troops flag-waving neighbors who still think they are free, and the assholes in CA. and NY and cities and towns all across this country now, who keep voting for communist tyrants (as opposed to the mere socialist tyrants of the other side) all far outnumber us, and they are the wolf and we the lambs in this ‘democracy’.

Ron Paul barely got 3% of the vote among Republicans!! Americans will not have nor tolerate liberty. You want to see revolution, uprising and change? Just take away the tyranny- The free shit; the ‘safety’ mandates; every government service and program which relieves people of personal responsibility at the cost of their liberty and privacy- because they don’t care about the latter.

The only vote I cast on election day is the Vaticanesque dropping of the large deuce into the porcelain ballot bowl, which accomplishes far more good and no harm- and then I also get to see a portrayal of the near future, as I flush the whole mess, and wash my hands. At least that way, the turds end up where they belong- and not in the White House nor governor’s mansions…..

  23. Eric,
I am looking forward to your interview later this AM…Friday 10/29 (at 11 o’clock ?) on “the David Knight Show”.

Always an interesting interchange of ideas; highly recommended.

  24. The propaganda and brainwashing can cease right now. lol

“Every election is a sort of advance auction sale of stolen goods.” – H. L. Mencken

Why isn’t there an election to recall the bums, send them packing, along with all of their chicanery?

A national referendum to stop the current policies and a national recall of every elected official at the national level would be a good start.

    Are you insane?

You can’t vote for that, you get to vote for the candidate who wants to win, not the candidate that is wanted to represent the huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

You can’t breathe free, you filthy no good swine, get that mask on!

Please mask the Statue of Liberty, and mask Lady Liberty too.

Nobody is going to run for office that has a clear conscience, not gonna happen. Congress is filled to the brim with kakistocrats that have legislated your life into a new state of miserable wretchedness.

Didn’t vote in the 2020 stolen election, too much trouble to vote for your next beating to improve your morale. Purdy obvious by now that the corrupt assholes in power are coming for everything you’ve got and are going to make sure it happens.

Has to be a planned pandemic, you can feel the effects directly. Deductive reasoning tells you something is very wrong and you are being wronged because of it.

To hell with your rights, you’re gonna do what we tell you.

    Yeah, right.

Stolen elections have consequences, the Demonrats, the Republiclowns, and the rest of the motley crew are going to find out, the School of Hard Knocks will teach them a lesson the hard way.

“Up yours, assholes.” – quoting from Blazing Saddles

  25. Some day….maybe some day, we’ll get a candidate elected on dismantling the beast. Firing 75% of Wash DC bureaucrats and just block grant the money to the states. No more Dept of education, environmental protection agency…etc.
A good thing that has come of Dems steeling an election then behaving as if they never have to run again is they are now showing whom they really are. McAuliffe doubles down on stating parents have no say in education because they think they never have to win again. Same with Bite-me and the rest.
The thing we have to worry about is what Stalin said: it’s not who votes who counts, it’s who counts the votes who counts.

  26. The last time I voted was for Ron Paul in 2008. I even made a sizeable monetary contribution to his campaign, and would have been a delegate for him at the state Republican convention if a last-minute change in my work schedule hadn’t interfered.

I remember being so excited when Ron decided to run. But when I would tell others about him – intelligent people whom I assumed would immediately see how reasonable his arguments against government were – they would yawn at best. It was a real eye-opener. Most people do not want to be bothered with thinking.

So after seeing how a true libertarian was treated, I gave up. I only have so much time on this earth, and I will no longer waste any of it on voting. I will instead play tennis with my friends, read LRC or EP Autos, make something on my 3D printer, cook for my wife, clean the toilets. Almost any activity I can think of will improve my life more than driving to a polling place and making a mark for Creep A or Creep B, or raising my impotent “No!” to a tax increase that a mob of emotional basket cases wants with all their hearts.

“Representative government” is such a stupid notion that I can’t fathom how anybody could continue to buy it once it’s been explained to them. If I want my representative to vote against a bill, and my neighbor wants him to vote for it, how can he represent both of us? Let alone hundreds of thousands. When somebody truly represents me, he will do exactly as I say, every time.

And speaking of features you don’t want: I guess we’ll see how many Uber drivers choose to fork over $334 a week for a Tesla rental – so they can watch at the charging station as their gas-powered competitors whiz by.

    https://www.autonews.com/mobility-report/see-interim-hertz-ceo-mark-fields-discuss-companys-trifecta-big-deals-tesla-uber

    • Indeed, I recall pointing out to my son that Ron Paul was our last hope. A hope we left rotting on the vine. He was the last candidate that in my mind was worth voting for. Local, State, or Federal.

  27. ‘People who represented the interests of the pharmaceutical cartels were appointed to key positions in the federal apparat that “regulates” vaccines.’ — eric

And the travesty marches on. Only one dissident, Dr Michael Kurilla, dared to speak up this week against jabbing kids:

“The benefit here is assumed to be prevention of severe disease, which is what we’re all hoping for,” Kurilla said during the meeting. But among the recovered, he added later, “The question really becomes, does this vaccine offer any benefits to them at all?

“Approximately 68 percent of the children who are hospitalized with COVID-19 have underlying comorbidities. That means about 32 percent do not. And then if we were to take 40 percent of that group that may have immunity already, we’re getting down to a very small percent of otherwise healthy 6- to 11-year-old children who might derive some benefit,” said Dr Cody Meissner.

Absolutist response of a CDC apparatchik:

“We don’t want children to be dying of COVID, even if it is far fewer children than adults, and we don’t want them in the ICU,” said Dr. Amanda Cohn, a CDC official.

    https://tinyurl.com/2rwhyysy

Zero covid hospitalizations for kids is like zero tolerance for drugs — an extreme and unworkable goal.

Big Pharma has got the bit between its teeth now: bottomless billions of Big Gov funding, no liability, and the prospect (discussed in the meeting) that fading immunity means twice-a-year boosters for life.

As someone said in another forum, we’ve all faced the hypothetical question of what we would have done to resist Naziism ninety years ago. Jabbing kids with mRNA injections is the monstrous moral travesty of our own time. How many will stand up to loudly insist, ‘No, NO, NO?

    • A modern-day nazi doctor blurts out the truth:

Dr. Eric Rubin, an adjunct professor at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, said,

“We’re never going to learn about how safe this vaccine is unless we start giving it. That’s just the way it goes. That’s how we found out about rare complications of other vaccines, like the rotavirus vaccine.”

Presumably his kids will defer the jab till we find out how many other little tykes got snuffed or disabled by his Mengelian experiment.

  28. As I’ve often mentioned, the only difference between the two parties is the speed of the handcart to hell we are riding on. The Republicans prefer to drive it a bit slower. The destination remains the same. Tyranny and poverty. Now if we had representation per capita as was laid out in the Constitution when it was ratified, we would have thousands of representatives. Which would inhibit any one of them acquiring any extraordinary power. To that we could add placing on the ballot anyone who wished to be on it, without the “qualifications” imposed by the two parties in power. Giving us hundreds to choose from. But alas, we don’t, and we won’t. We are stuck with what we’ve got until it collapses. The sooner the better for our progeny. If I were to stoop to voting, I might very well vote straight Democrat, to hasten the process. An excellent argument Eric, but I still hold that voting is authorization of the results.

    • JK,

I liken both parties to rapists who want to screw us, but the GOP will give us some KY and be gentler about sticking it to us; we’ll be violated no matter what, but the GOP will give us a kinder, gentler violation… 😉

  29. ‘If anything she trends even bluer than she did a decade ago. Is a 180 even possible?’ — RG

Evidence from another state (NJ) electing a governor on Tuesday suggests that yes, it is possible.

Despite being definitively a liberal blue state, NJ has alternated Ds and Rs for decades. Notable R-party RINO governors included Christine Todd Whitman (1994-2000) and Chris Christie (2010-2017).

Likewise, in true-blue New England, both Massachusetts and Vermont have R-party governors.

Not shilling for the R-party, but local factors can operate to evict DemonRats from the governor’s office even in hopelessly liberal states, with possibly the sole exception of one-party Commiefornia where Maoists and Trotskyites have a firm death grip round the state’s neck.

    • What difference has it made? There was no lessening of tyranny or insanity in the aforementioned states when the R’s were running them. Even on the local level- for instance: The eastern half of Long Island has long been controlled by the R’s on the county, township, and town/village levels- and is one of the most oppressive tyrannical places in this country- equaling and in many respects even surpassing the tyranny of California- and with higher property taxes…..

  30. Voting was originally limited to white male landowners –i.e. those with ‘skin in the game’ which is obummer’s way of saying ‘the most to lose’. I’d be happy to return to something similar & limit voting to those who pay federal income tax (I would rather get rid of 16th amendment altogether).

In my oddly shaped congressional district, I’m one of nearly 900,000 people. I don’t really feel represented at the federal level.

If 2020 taught us anything, it was Stalin was right in that all that matters who counts the votes (whether they’re real or not).

    • Well-said, Mike –

If there must be voting, then the vote ought rightly to be limited to those who pay taxes – at least as far as any question of raising/disposing of tax dollars is concerned. Very few would say that a person who isn’t a shareholder in a company has any voting rights …

      • And those charities the shareholders “donate” to don’t get a vote. Anyone receiving “benefits” should likewise not be allowed to vote, including those employed by the shareholders. Imagine how very few would be eligible to vote given these simple and logical restrictions. No one receiving money from the state, however small the amount, charity or wages, is allowed to vote. It’s actually the only way democracy CAN work, otherwise people vote themselves money from the public treasury until its bankrupt. Like right now.

    • That is similar to something I thought years ago. Voting, at least at the Federal level, should be like is done in any other corporation, essential a proxy of people for and whom own the stock. So you return your picks for representatives from a slate of options with your tax return.

Even if you’re getting a refund or in the most extreme case truly net zero for the year the act of filing a valid return presumes you worked, had money withheld from you and you’re trying to get some of it back. That’s basically good enough for me to justify voting.

Just fogging a mirror and being lucky geographically to be on this chunk of politically defined dirt instead of another arbitrary one isn’t sufficient.

  31. Eric,

IIRC, another part of the libertarian position on voting is that, by voting, you’re legitimizing the system and all those in it.

    • I can see this argument. But everyone, at times, does something to legitimize the system. Just using their paper money is legitimizing the system and everyone in it.

I’d argue that wearing a mask because a sign says so does far more to legitimize the system and everyone in it than voting. They are going to rape and pillage you whether you vote or not. When you put on the mask, you’re doing it because you’ve bought into the lie or you don’t have the courage to do the right thing. Not having the courage to dissent and stand alone is the biggest problem society has.

Disclaimer: this isn’t an argument in favor of voting. But it’s interesting how some libertarians tried tying not masking to violating the non-aggression principle. Many did this early on in the covid scam. They know who they are. Many of them are adamant on the evils of voting, but like all of us, have blind spots.

    • Hi Mark,

Yes, but that position essentially demands going supine in the face of aggression. I see no reason to do so. I do not see that it violates libertarian morals to do so, either. I am not voting to harm anyone. I vote to defray harm to myself (and others). If the person I am voting for decides to violate people’s rights, that is on him – not me.

      • Other than he has been granted “legitimacy” by receiving your vote, along with sufficient others, to win the office. He has been given power by such, and he will damn well use it, just not for your benefit. We are far beyond an election making it even close to right. We will still have fiat currency, the public debt will still be well beyond the ability of foreseeable generations to pay it off, there will still be massive abuse of our rights, there will still be a defense budget more than twice that of Russia and China combined, there will still be US troops in nearly every nation, there will still be an effort to centrally control the market place, and on and on ad infinitum.

    • Voting is the formal giving of one’s consent. If one votes, they are essentially agreeing to the mythical ‘social contract’ and making it real. To vote is to give heed to the idea that the majority has the right to decide (or to pick those who decide) and to agree to abide by those decisions, because oine can not say that they do not believe in ‘democracy’/representative government (or government, at all) if they participate in the most fundamental process of what supposedluy legitimizes that government, and if they expect their decision to be obeyed, while rejecting the concept that they are beholden to obey the decisions of others when those others constitute the winning majority. THAT is why voting legitimizes the system.

If you hang stockings on the mantle, even if you say you don’t believe in Santa Clause, YOU become the Santa…..

  32. The reality is you can’t vote “against” anything except yes/no bond/tax issues. You are always voting FOR someone as “None of the Above” is never on the ballot…although it should be.

That plus the fact that ballot access laws prevent anyone without Billionaire status from getting on the ballot. Then, if there is a 3rd or 4th choice, there’s the “a vote for the 3rd party is a vote for my enemy” mentality which is totally insane.

Bottom line, the system’s rigged so you only get two choices. So it comes down to this, as it always does, the ballot box or the cartridge box. It’s sad that men of peace are forced to use the former.

    • I view voting as a defensive action. A feeble attempt to protect me from the greater evil.

I often vote none of the above, but that’s just me not lending my support to any candidate – or leave that race blank, not that my vote will change anything except the final % just a little.

There are usually no good options because the money has already bought policy outcomes before the election is even held.

      • That’s like walking into a McDonald’s and ordering a Whopper, which you know they don’t have, and then leaving empty-handed. Why would you waste your time? Just don’t go to McDonald’s [The Clowns get elected either way]

  33. Hi Eric,

You and I are in the same position. I have been swaying back and forth between “should I vote” and “why the hell should I vote”. Honestly, I still haven’t made up my mind and probably won’t until Tuesday. I have no love for Youngkin and honestly, I am still apprehensive that he could pull off a win even if he has the majority of votes. A complete and utter distrust of the voting system.

If I vote I then have convinced myself that our vote actually matters, which I know deep down it doesn’t. The media has built up this race to epic proportions, daring us to believe that Virginia is a purple state. She isn’t. Deep down I know that. Why do I want to so desperately believe that the majority of Virginians will vote for the lesser of two evils? For over a decade our state’s peers has shown she is for socialism. If anything she trends even bluer than she did a decade ago. Is a 180 even possible?

Still I will probably vote Tuesday just to cancel out a vote of some numbskull commie who believes government knows more than the individual. I will, foolishly, even sit in front of the TV at 7pm upon the closing of the polls. I will naively assume that Virginians will try to grasp onto some form of freedom, no matter how small, while acknowledging that Fairfax County or Richmond City will come up with the needed ballots to push McAuliffe over the line.

I will wake up the next morning with a new goal of escaping this state in mind.

    • RG,

I don’t know how “blue” VA is. As I’ve discussed at length elsewhere, the GOP blew off 39 of the 140 statehouse races, thus ceding control of those seats to the Dem party. As the old lottery commercial goes, you have to be IN it to win it! Even if the GOP had won 25% of those races (a realistic possibility, IMO, considering VA is much more than Richmond and the DC suburbs), then they would’ve controlled at least one house, and have been in position to REIN IN Gov. Coonman.

      • Walter Karp, in his book Indispensable Enemies, describes how the insiders of both parties often want to lose elections, if winning the election meant that a reform candidate, disliked by the party leadership, would prevail.

If I were the boss, both the D and R parties would be prosecuted as racketeering operations, their assets seized, and their leaders jailed. Then I would poke them with a sharp stick through the bars.

        • They’ll also lose so as to increase fundraising; they can then say, “Look at what those power hungry people are doing! We need your money to stop them…”

      • Hi Mark,

She’s blue and she’s becoming bluer. The GOP is basically ousted in any district in NOVA and even my once very rural town is bingeing on purple. If McAuliffe wins it allows me to sever the umbilical cord that has been my home for 40 + years. Some would disagree with me stating I am not willing to fight, and that may be true. To fight though one must believe that the outcome will be fair and that the respective winners and losers will accept the results. This is no longer the country that we live in.

There is no doubt that the Dems and GOP are both part of the same two headed snake, but with a Dem win my hopes of continuing to homeschool my children are erased. McAuliffe will force vaccination on every business in the Commonwealth, taxes will increase, and crime will skyrocket.

I have no desire to live among that.

        • But how can you be sure though? When the GOP BLOWS OFF over 27% of the races, how can you be sure that the total Dem control of Richmond is an accurate reflection of VA sentiment?? How can anyone guage the true sentiment when the Dems run UNOPPOSED in 39 of 140 (almost 28%!) races? When the Dems run unopposed, even in a rural area, they’ll win no matter what!

I know that NOVA has the lion’s share of the population, but it’s not all of VA; VA has rural parts too, parts that I’m sure are more conservative. Ergo, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume that the GOP could’ve taken 25% of the races.

If the GOP had won 25% of those races they blew off, then the GOP would be in control of the statehouse; they’d be able to rein in Gov. Coonman. Shoot, even if they’d won 20% of those races, they’d still flip one house, possibly both! Controlling at least one house puts the brakes on Gov. Coonman. You mean to tell me that, even when the rural areas of VA are considered, that the GOP couldn’t win 20% of the races that they blew off? Sorry, I don’t buy it.

We have a similar situation here in PA. It’s no secret that our two largest cities, Philly and Pittsburgh, skew the elections; it’s enough of a thing that folks here refer to the effect “Phillysburgh” has on elections here. Even so, we have a divided gov’t here; the Dems control the executive branch, while the GOP controls both houses of our state legislature. Guess what? Fuhrer Wolf COULDN’T unleash his inner Hitler! He couldn’t emulate his brothers in arms, Phil Murphy and Andy Cuomo, in the neighboring states of NJ & NY respectively. The end result is, save for some posted signs and some masked people, life is almost back to what it was two years ago. It’s not because Wolf didn’t WANT to institute tyranny here; he simply couldn’t.

The difference here is that, unlike VA, the GOP doesn’t blow off more than a quarter of the races; there are contested races here. Again, you have to be IN IT to win it! The VA GOP, for reasons only they know, decided to cede 39 statehouse races to the Dems, thus giving Gov. Coonman and his fellow totalitarians total control in Richmond.

How long the divided gov’t remains here, I don’t know. The Dems control the executive branch, which includes the Sec. of State that controls elections. They changed the rules, did mail ballots, and the rest is history. We’ll get an idea next week, since we have school board and other elections going on. We’ll find out for sure in 2022 when we have our state and federal elections; we’ll see how honest they are then. After what happened in 2020, I won’t hold my breath.

Anyway, my original contention stands: that VA isn’t as blue as everyone thinks it is; it only LOOKS that way because the Dems control everything in Richmond. They control everything because the GOP blew off 39 races. I don’t buy the proposition that, had they contested all of those races, that they couldn’t have won 20%-25% of them; the numbers don’t add up. I’d classify VA as a purple state, but it’s not solidly blue. Those are my thoughts…

          • How do I know she is becoming bluer? Because I talk to these people everyday. They are moving in from out of state and moving further South and West in the state. They are now my neighbors from Vienna and Massachusetts. They are my clients who have left NOVA and have transferred to Charlottesville, Chesterfield, and Roanoke.

My conservative clients have moved to Florida, Tennessee, and Texas. They took there voting records with them. There is not a secret coalition of red voters in Virginia. If there are just because a Republican is on the ticket doesn’t mean they are coming out to vote for them.

Which districts didn’t have a Republican running in 2017? How many of them didn’t have a Democrat running?

            • RG,

I don’t know about 2017; I dug in to the 2019 voting records. That said, I can comment on the previous two gubernatorial races (2013 & 2017). In 2013, you had a solid guy in Ken Cuccinelli, but the GOP pulled all financial and logistic support from him. In 2017, the GOP put up RINO and Romney wannabe Ed Gillespie.

BTW, I just saw on Twitter that there’s a new GOP chairman there, and that they’re fielding candidates in ALL the races! Again, they don’t have to win all of them; they only need to win 25% to get at least one house.

            • My point all along is that, since the GOP blew off 39 of the 140 races in 2019, they had NO HOPE of winning! You gotta be in it to win it, as they say.

For me, I’m just looking at the numbers. The GOP blew off 28 races in the House of Delegates, and they blew off 9 VA Senate races. 28*0.25=7; 9*0.25=2.25. Those are the numbers. Here are some more numbers. The Dems enjoy a 55-45 majority in the HoD, while they have a 21-19 majority in the VA Senate. If the GOP had won 7 of the 28 House races they blew off, guess what? They control the House! If they won 2 of the 9 Senate races they skipped, then they control the Senate. I don’t see how it’s so impossible to: 1) run in all races; and 2) win 25% of them.

      • We enjoy the abuse, Nunz. We keep hoping that “this will be the time” and a great light will be shone down on Virginia and its people will roll out of bed and see it.

Also, it gives us a really good excuse to be pissed come Wednesday morning.

    • The first election you sit out is the hardest. It’s been drilled into your head for so long. It’s your civic duty! People fought and died for your right to vote!

You know in the back of your mind the logical arguments but your emotional attachment to the Spirit of ’76 story has been told and retold for generations. The noble lie is strong. Have no doubt, whether you do or don’t vote the outcome won’t be any different, though.

However when the inevitable still occurs, you, in your mind and soul, will redouble your inner strength to deal with it knowing in your heart you are not an accomplice to the violence being perpetuated on your neighbors. You at least didn’t ask to put on your own handcuffs.
