I don't think she will; she thinks I betrayed her and can't fathom why I don't love The Chimp, Republicans generally and think America is the freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeest and bestest country around!

You managed to use three worthless words in a single post! "Love" freedom" and "best".

Each one of those words have to be explained each time they are used or else they have so many definitions that the word becomes worthless.

IMAO, the USA has too many laws to be considered free. And I think most of us would "love" almost any so-called "free" country that we were born in. Which is "best" depends on who is asked.

If we could ask a commie which is best, most free and which to love:

"The Vietnamese people deeply love independence, freedom and peace. But in the face of United States aggression they have risen up, united as one man."
--Ho Chi Minh

And BTW, no helmet or seatbelt laws in any commie country that I am aware of.

Yep!

I find the 4th of July especially noxious, with all the braying about how "free" we are - when you can't even legally buy real fireworks in most states anymore.

Wouldn't be "safe."
