He knows he's got a good deal going!

And: Here are his bro's (literally; they are his brothers: Foxy and The Dude):

The Dude is big!

He eats like Elvis!

But he's a teddy bear; they both are.

Cats are cool...

Nice video.

If I could just get my dogs to stop eating the cat shit from the litter box things in the laundry room will be good to go.

Having a self cleaning litter box is less work, but sure is freaking disgusting.

Sage (or not so sagacious Black Lab) does the same damn thing. Apparently cat shit has lotsa protein in it and to a dog, it's dee-licious... :o

I would never buy a self cleaning litter box.

May I suggest a cat litter that is a little more expensive but lasts a long, long time. It is Worlds Best Cat litter. You can find it at Petco or Pets mart or any local joint (if they carry it).

Cleaning the litter box is no fun, but it is far less stressful with Worlds Best than some brand like tidy cat or whatever.

I put the poop and pee in a plastic bag from the supermarket....

Good luck.

Bet the mice are pretty big too! Gonna get me a panoramic camera so I can take a full picture of our monster, Paddy The cat, in one go.

After this picture was taken I took him up the mountain on that ranger. He sat inside my jump suit and relaxed with his head and front legs hanging out.

Cats are awesome, I wanna play with all the ones in this thread. Especially the cougars.

My cat Clyde is my best little buddy. He's sixteen years old now, still healthy and active, still goes on his daily prowl.

I used to really not like cat, but since we got Spooky that all changed.

He is way smarter than all three of our dogs combined and extremely easy to care for.

I told you he was no ordinary cat!

His parents and brother/sister are also superb cats. Good genes, I dunno. Just cool little beasts with intelligence and personality.

Here's Spooky's brother, Max - he lives up the road with our friends Bill and Angie and their two kids/black Lab Josie (plus Max's sister, Maizey):

Agree!

I got hooked through my wife, who had two when we met. Fast forward nine years and we've now got five of them...

As long as he doesn't have any experience, he'll actually be happier and healthier over the long run. Now, if he's already a daddy, he'll be pretty grumpy the rest of his life. Non-snipped, males tend to spray their territory. That may be why mom wants it done. Lastly, snipping also lessens the chance of testicular cancer which clears a lot of males out of the wild. A really good cat is hard to find and you really want to help him live a long life.

Spooky reminds me a lot of a cat my sister used to have. All black with a touch of white and just a really good personality. I won't hurt a cat but I'm not really a cat person but when he died I really missed him.

What Grouch said.

I'd do it. He's about to hit sexual maturity which means he may want to spray. He'll also want to wander - and fight other Toms.

With males, the surgery is a lot less of a big deal. They don't cut him open like they do the girls....

Yeah, I'm going to have the wife call and make an appointment. -darn it

This cat is really amazing.

He moves more like a monkey than a cat.

And he looks just like his brother, Foxy. They have the same face; same bushy tail and white spot on the undercarriage. He's also a super cool cat.

We're really happy Spooky landed well!

Several times I have tried to get pictures of our two cats side by side, just to show the difference in their sizes. At last I have managed it - Calico is the little four pounds and a smidgen (in wet fur) Calico cat, Paddy is the twenty pounds plus lardy lump Maine Coon cross. Click images for full size pictures.

Ken,

Nice cats and good photos. so I guess one could say one cat is a tug boat while the other is the QE2. ;) (Maybe not that extreme, but the one cat seems to be 3x larger than the other.)
