Have you ever heard of the comic group Tim & Eric? I've been a fan since I first saw them on "Adult Swim" (Adult Swim comes on late at night on the Cartoon Network and features incredibly off the wall shows).

The reason I'm asking on these forums is because after buying all their seasons on DVD and getting burned out of them about a year ago, I've rekindled my love for them and I think they would fit in well with these forums.... they seem to have a profound hate for the "mainstream", with a surrealistic twist.

Here are some samples of their work:

Never heard of them, not being a TV watcher, but thanks for the links. I've missed some interesting programs over the years by not being a watcher. For instance, the series "Firefly" was made into a good sci-fi film, which I bought on DVD. The liner notes mentioned that it had been a TV series. Netflix had the series on DVD and I watched it after enjoying the film. I'm going to look on Netflix for Tim & Eric.

The "Tim and Eric" tv shows are not on Netflix, but their movie is, and it is absolutely terrible. Nothing like their television show and there current internet work afterwards. They tried way too hard. If you'd like to give it a look, it's called "Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" but I'm warning you now that it is terrible and doesn't hold a candle to their other work.

Another excellent show from Adult Swim that is on Netflix is called "Delocated"... it's a spoof on reality television about a family in the witness protection program that gets relocated to New York City, it is hysterical, and like other Adult Swim programs, is totally off the wall.

Tim & Eric are hit and miss, but when they hit it is fucking art. Art god dammit! Feast your eyes and ears upon the surrealistic hatred of sports with a music video Eric made for some band I've never heard of:

(If you've ever seen the show Twin Peaks, the coach in this music video is the same actor, Ray Wise, as Twin Peaks' Leland).
