It may be that you can legally carry a concealed pistol (if you have a CHP) but not a fighting knife, baton or brass knuckles, etc.

I call the police department over lunch and talked with a deputy.
He told me I can carry it out in the open.
I'll be getting a belt strap for it!
Side note: I saw a Warlock at DMV yesterday with a HUGE knife on his belt!
