I think I now know why the price has been changing a lot in different areas. IOW, where it used to be high is lower and vice versa on the same day.

It probably has to do with different refineries being closed for their maintenance, which is the reason why our gasoline price is going up as the price of oil goes down.

I hear we now have so much oil here in the USA that I expect the price to stay down for quite a while.

But you will see the price raise a lot when the demand goes way up from our next RV trip!

Creeping while your sleeping, prices. It's like $1.90 in Manassas where I work and $1.75 in Front Royal where I live.

Still $2.24 for premium here, although I saw $2.12 at a Kroger supermarket across town (they have fuel too...).

Yesterday, I paid the equalivant of $6,61 US Gal. for Super+ here in Germany - quite a drop from last Summer when I was paying close to $9,40.

Your gasoline prices there are like most of the SF Bay Area. But still a bit higher here in South San Francisco & San Bruno. SF is cheaper than just south of SF.

That's quite a bit better, although a HUGE pill to swallow. I guess the dollar has gotten a bit "stronger", which accounts for some of that decline. Helping that pill go down is the mere existence of the autobahn.

Yeah. That and other car related stuff is the reason I live here - well, in the Summer anyway. There's no other place like it in the world.

Aargh. Today I filled up at a station across town that is usually about four cents cheaper than my neighborhood station. I paid $2.28/gallon for premium. Driving home I passed my usual station and it was $2.24. Damn.

Gas prices are indeed creeping back up again.

Paid $2.27 for 89 octane gas at Exxon two days ago.
