Still around $4.20 here in South San Francisco. A bit cheaper a few miles in any direction.

Things are getting better over here as well, my local station is selling gas at $2.027/ltr ($7.673/US Gallon - $9.203/UK Gallon).

    Re: Gas Price Survey

Oil prices have dropped close to 10 bucks a barrel and the price of gas hasn't moved one iota.

Dropping fast. Several SF stations are already under four bucks today.

    Re: Gas Price Survey

Based on current oil prices, I think that the price of fuel is about 20 cents too high

$3.65 here in extreme NW Reno. I assume cheaper downtown, but I have not been down there for a couple of weeks.

    Re: Gas Price Survey

Today, we took KingBury Grade to highway 50 to come back to SSF from our Reno home, for a change of scenery. We are getting bored with I-80.

Carson City, NV was lowest price on the way home. $3.589 for 87. Reno was as low as $3.629. South Lake Tahoe, CA was over four dollars, about the same price as here in South San Francisco. Between South Lake Tahoe and SSF, the price was as low as $3.659.

Great MPG from Echo Summit (7,200 feet) to sea level. All downhill, (and I really mean nonstop downhill) for about 50 miles. Not once was it necessary to touch the gas pedal in that 50 miles. The brake is another story.

    Re: Gas Price Survey

Yesterday my Dad reported to me that he stopped at a gas station in North Carolina off of route I95 and they had 89 octane at $4.70 a gallon. The station manager said it was around $3.70 the day before. He said it went up by $1.00 from the day before due to the hurricane damage to Houston area refineries.
