Sounds good, but, I doubt that keeping his hand and pressure on the stick all the time is very good for the gear selector forks. Riding the stick was always a 'no-no' in my young days, especially in Fords.

On the other hand, that TA has one of the toughest gearboxes ever made, the Muncie M21 4-speed. These things were built to stand up behind 7 liter V-8s producing 500 lbs.-ft. of torque and 400-plus hp.... ;D
