Wow, that's a truly horrible conversion. The Olds section doesn't even begin to fit.

I don't miss the 1970s.
Here's an interesting car, it's a 1972 Cadillac Station Wagon. Back in the 1970s for a few years you could go to a Cadillac dealer and order a new Cadillac station wagon which was converted at a coach builder (like limosines and other speciality cars) into a station wagon (by putting a back end of a full-size Oldsmobile station wagon roof/windows section:

I just hope that nobody was seriously hurt when the Olds hit the back of the Caddy.Originally Posted by chiph

Eric,
This car has been sold. Back in the day this conversion was well over $10,000 some say as much as $20,000. So this was not a cheap car when it was new. ASC which did a lot of aftermarket convertible conversions on different cars in the 1980s and 1990s also made a Cadillac Station Wagon which had a flat roof (no hump like the Cadillac shown above). Elvis apparently owned an ASC 1972 Cadillac station wagon which he bought new and kept until his death (here's a pictures of Elvis's ASC Cadillac station wagon - notice it has the flat roof showing it was a ASC conversion):
This second one is a cleaner conversion, although the C pillar is still nasty.
Seems odd to have the rear fender hanging lower than the rocker panel.
Very good eye, I did not catch the rear fender being lower than the rocker panel. Here's a 1971 Cadillac Fleetwood sedan which was almost identical to the 1972 Fleetwood sedan did not have the lower rear fender.Originally Posted by misterdecibel
Excellent point the problem with the C pillar is the angle of the rear glass does not match up with rear passenger window glass giving it a slapped together look.

Here's a real one.........

A man's greatest mistake is to think he is working for somebody else.
Mase,
Thanks for posting, I forgot about the Cadillac Viewmaster Wagon.
Now that is slick!Originally Posted by Mase

ReasonOne,
Thanks, I would really like to see the pictures of that Cadillac.
