Mind you, I'm not saying I support welfare. I'm just sick of the double standard that portrays some poor, desperate shithead in a run-down trailer in West Virgina who gets his $500 per month welfare/food stamps as an egregious drain on society - while there's no indignation whatsoever about the routine/daily pouring of millions - or even billions! - down the gullets of business-suited assholes who have "pull" in Washington.
I'm not a fan, for example, of the principle of government-provided health care. But, Jesus fucking Christ, there is something foul and noxious about throwing billions at the useless eaters in Iraq while millions of average Americans can't afford to see a doctor.
