    The Arrogance of Blatant Hyprocisy

President Obama's trip to Elkhart, Indiana today has put me in somewhat of a quandry. While he goes there to pontificate about their high unemployment rate, his "green" environmental policies are, by their very nature, anti-RV.

Two-faced? Or is he just playing Americans for fools....

General Note: Let's be clear about a couple of issues...

    1) The President's push for his ridiculously expensive stimulus package is really NOT ABOUT STIMULUS. It's about social re-engineering. This is a ten-year program with back-loaded spending which will fundamentally re-align our priorities, exponentially enlarge the size of the federal government and take power away from the states, and impose what is clearly a socialist agenda.

    2) The moving of control over the census to the White House is a blatant, brazen and arrogant power-grab which will re-align Congressional districts for many years to favor and support a Democratic majority.

    3) The move by a Democratic Congress to give the District of Columbia the so-called "status of a state" to give, in effect, the national government representation IN AND OF the national government, is blatantly unconstitutional, and will hopefully be struck down in the Supreme Court, but who knows. With the current climate of lunacy in Washington, expect anything.

In my opinion, as with CAFE, Obama is at the very least catastrophically ignorant of the engineering/economic aspects involved. He, like so many DC politicos, is a smooth-talking lawyer-lobbyist type who knows nothing about such grubby nuts and bolts issues - and in any case won't let his ignorance prevent him from pushing his "great ideas"- even if they kill us.

He is a smooth-talking demagogue as are the Democrats. I find it confounding that so many addled sheeple buy into the reality of their policies. Notice I didn't say rhetoric since their rhetoric can sound good at times.

Obama's recent push on the "California standard" (and CAFE) is a case in point. He obviously has no clue (or just doesn't care) that these policies will wreak havoc and produce very little meaningful improvement in either air quality or fuel economy.

These SOBs in DC not only think they know everything, they have a "born to rule" mentality that enrages me.

Maybe economic collapse has its upsides - if we can reorganize the country and throw these shysters down the proverbial well!
