The interesting thing in it is that Truman is #5, who left office with the next lowest approval rating after Bush, due to his poor speaking, Asian war, economic problems, and having used the atomic bomb.
I loathe The Chimp for many reasons, but high among his crimes is the way he almost single-handedly discredited conservatism as a national political movement. He and his policies of reckless spending, injudicious militarism, corporate cronyism, idiot religious fundamentalism and contempt for the rule of law are now taken but the public at large as "conservative" policies. He has accelerated this country's decline into statism and despotism - and for that he can never be forgiven.
Assuming he can give a speech... "Fool me once, won't get fooled again..."
