Retrospect: 1975 Chrysler Windsor, Ontario Plant

Here's a look back with pictures of the Chrysler Windsor, Ontario Canada plant circa 1975. You can see all the 1975 Chrysler Cordobas and 1975 Dodge Chargers being built.

They are great cars. Very under-appreciated..

The plus side is that they can be had for dirt cheap. For instance if you search you can find a mint conditioned 400 or 360 V8 powered loaded Cordoba for less than $6,000. That's a steal for a classic car. Especially one that would be easy and cheap to maintain. Parts are still easy to come by for this car. And the car is very safe, it's built like a tank.

Hey, I'll take a full-size (by modern standards) RWD/V-8 coupe like that any day of the week - especially since (as Pete notes) you can pick up cherry examples for around $6k or so.

Might not be a muscle car - but it's easy to fix up/hot rod if you wanted. And if not, it's a super comfortable land yacht of the type they literally do not make any more...
