Mase thanks for posting. This 944 looks pretty good with the (non-stock) 911 wheels. Nice touch with the wider wheels out back.

This by far is my favorite 944 and Porsche color. If I ever own a 944, it will be one in this color.

Wow. That article brought back memories. I remember a family friend bought a 1983 944 back in about August of 1982. It was grey with a black interior. I remember the strong pull (relatively) of the drivetrain and the superb cornering when I got to ride in it.

At the time, I was impressed that the 85 mph speedometer that was prevalent in all cars of the day was replaced by a 160 mph unit with a 7000 rpm tach. It signified at once the dawn of a new era of automotive renaissance but the end of the era of affordable speed.

I remember I felt the same way when for 1986, Pontiac offered on the Trans Am a 140 mph speedo option.
