Then we rode to Steptoe Butte, a few of you have been up there with me
Saturday 4-18-07
Spring is springing, motorcycles are coming out of the woodwork and there’s riding to be done and this is the bike I was riding.
Met some of my ADV friends for breakfast and a ride. ADV friends were eating while I was taking pictures of their bikes.
We rode through the Eastern Washington Palouse farmland.

This was our group
This was a Triumph group that came up. They were a lot more precise in the way they parked. The top of the butte was filled with bike it was sooooooo cool.
At the end of the 1800s there was a grand hotel built on top of this butte however with the nasty dirty windy road to get to it not many people made the journey. The hotel burned in the early 1900s and wasn’t rebuilt. Later the butte was donated to the state to remain open to the public as a park for all to enjoy.

After that we rode to lunch
One dollar tacos at a Marina next to Coeur d’ Alene Lake. I didn’t get any pictures of the pretty lake, I was too busy eating.
I rode Sunday too and I’ll be boring you with those pictures too.![]()

Ahh yes, Steptoe Butte, I remember it well..I have been really missing my Goldwing while here in Branson, I got to ride my sisters sissy bike harley sportstera couple of times, i guess when presented with few alternatives a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. anyhow right now I'm in Littlerock Arkansas waiting for my wife to arrive at the airport, Tomorrow we're driving down to Murfreesboro to mine for diamonds..(maybe if we get lucky there may be a new bike in my future) in 2 weeks i'll be driving back west to Prescott, Arizona for a visit with my older brother for a few weeks, then back to Kentucky the 20th of June. I' thinking about flying back to Portland and retrieving the 'wing while I'm in Arizona, unless I find someone who would be willing to trade thier bike for my 97 Buick Century. I should be back for good by mid July if all goes well..Bear
