    2010 Taurus

Well, maybe it'll look better in person. It's got a lot of styling cliches going on -- the chrome fender badge, the overwrought styling line along the doors, excessive use of chrome.

It definitely gets the award for "most annoying new car website"

I find it neither ugly nor exceptional. Just another bland blob. They really do all the look the same...

Agreed. If you owned one it would be advisable to have it painted in bright yellow with purple spots otherwise you would never spot it again if you left it in a large car park.

I love all the overheated PR about "sculpted curves." Please.

American cars haven't had style in decades.

Though it's not a styling homerun like the current Chrysler 300 was when it was released, the Taurus is better looking than most of its competition. Here compare for yourself:

    2010 Taurus SHO:

    2010 Toyota Camry:

    2010 Honda Accord:

    2010 Hyundai Sonata:

So what do you think? Do you agree the 2010 Taurus looks better than it's competition?

Agreed. Those cars are boring by comparison. I think Ford has been doing a great job over the last 5 years. So has GM, but we all know where theyre headed. I wonder how much longer Ford can continue to compete against the American version of British Leyland.

To my - European - mind the better proportioned car is the Toyota Camry. But then I am a Toyota fan and owner so I could be a little bit biased.

Excellent point. It's a rough road ahead. Ford was smart in not taking the bailout dollars, for the time being it's saved itself from GM and Chrysler's fate.

Fair enough, can see your logic...

What's your opinion on the Accord? Do you like the US or the smaller more stylish European version of the Accord?

2010 (European) Accord S version (essentually the US Acura TSX):

Looking at the photos, and remembering that I will not see the cars in the 'metal' they all, except for the Camry, look extremely nose heavy. Almost like they designed the front then thought 'No, this is way to heavy we'll have to save weight on the back end.' Then they squashed the front down to try and make it look lighter, but failed anyway.

    IMHO of course.
