    1982 Dodge Rampage

    1982 Dodge Rampage

During the late 1970s and into the 1980s, fake fender-mounted air ducts and hood scoops became as trendy as the Village People, and were festooned on cars just as tough. The 1982 Rampage and its Plymouth-badged cousin, the Scamp, were hybrid car/pick-ups based on the K-car platform. Each was equipped with the K-Car’s 84-horsepower, 2.2-liter “Trans-four” engine and offered performance to match. Buyers quickly saw through the scam and the Rampage/Scamp were discontinued after the 1984 model year.
