A Sunbeam Alpine, possibly a Tiger. I had a friend in HS whose dad owned one of these. It was a kind of AC Cobra. Brit sports car with small block Ford V-8.
It was a Tiger - the thin chrome strip down the side is the giveaway.
Sadly killed off when Chrysler bought Rootes, as Chrysler didn't want to sell Ford-engined cars & they didn't have a V8 that would fit into such a small car.
