    Got a wife an early birthday present.

    Great minds!

    I have the same unit - also got for the wife. Ours is matte black finished, though. But same gun. It's light and simple and easy to shoot - but still packs a nice punch.

    Yeah, its a sweet little unit. The wife really likes it, has not fired it yet though.

    Going to send her though a safety class.

    Here's a not-so-great shot of mine (on the far left). I will take/post another/better one.

    Revolvers have their merits; virtually impossible to fuck one up; they can take more abuse (lack of cleaning) and still work. You don't have to worry about spring "set" in the magazine as in a semi-auto pistol. Inherently safe to carry loaded, too.

    Also: .38 special used to be the standard law enforcement round. It has a lot of punch and these days, ammo is still easy to get, too!
