Our house has the steep pitch; problem is the gutters are jammed up with ice and snow and I fear I will have to do some repairs this spring as a result...
I had to have the power company by last night. My lights were out when I got home,partially. I called my brother-in-law who is an electrical engineer (for the power company) and he said it sounded like I lost one phase off my power supply. The guy got here and, yep, I lost one leg. The ice last year weakend it and the wind yesterday morning working it back and forth was the last straw. I didn't realize how noisy my house is normally.
