For people like me, it is a HUGE tax increase. I'm healthy/fit - so I pay for health care as I need it (which so far is never, other than routine dental). No insuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurance policy. I was able to afford my first house precisely because I did not have any insurance from college through my 20s, which enabled me to save thousands of dollars - put toward the down payment.

Now this octoroon son of a bitch is going to try to make people who - rationally - pay for health needs out of pocket and prefer to skip insurance altogether - buy a "mandated" policy.

Well, fuck him.

I'm done. I am prepared to resist - and will fight, if it comes to that.
