    I miss the days when I was able to know by memory (and sight) every single make/model of car and rattle off details... for the typical consumer, it was probably less unsettling to have three or four main competitors in a given segment than today's multiplicity of makes/models, which to a great extent are all very good and all very similar, to such an extent that choosing comes down to eeny meenie miney moe...
