Instead, the masses get fatter and more stupid with each passing season, rooting for "their" team... because it's so important that "we" win.
I thought that goal should of counted too. A goal is such a rare gem in soccer they all should count. Eric some people see the challenges and beauty in sports. In my humble opinion sports is a good thing to have in our lives. Everybody in Chicago is wearing a Blackhawk jersey. Aw shucks Way to Go BLACKHAWKS!!
I didn't see it, but opinion in the British press seems to be that it was a legitimate goal. As things stand at the moment that refereeing mistake could mean England going through to the next stage at the expense of the USA - the way England have played so far, that would be a gross injustice!
