    No more manual transmissions...

    ...for Ferrari or Lamborghini.

I guess if you want a Lambo with a manual, buy an Audi R8.

    Those cars are over-rated anyhow.

There was a time when exotic car money got you exotic car performance. Today, for well under $100k, you can buy a car that will accelerate, handle and stop as well as the "exotics"

And for about $50k, you can take a stock $35k car and modify it to deliver similar performance.

These $250k cars are to a great extent about showing off how much money you can spend on a car.

    Sad but true.

You can get the same performance in a Corvette now. And yet, oddly, I still don't want a Corvette.

The intended environment for the exotics is The Riviera. That's where they make sense for a Eurotrash dude with too much money. Anywhere else you'd be better served by a 5-Series. Personally I'd rather have a Lotus Elise or Caterham Seven if I was rich and needed a 2-seat sports car fix.

And if you really need a Lambo with a manual, you can still get the Audi R8 with a clutch pedal.

    I'm sorry, but that's a disgrace.
