    Tailgating Cloveroni

Today I went to pick up 18 sheets of drywall for the remodel project I bee's workin' on. My little truck is fully loaded and I am gingerly gimping it home on the main county road - a lightly traveled two-lane with a 55 mph limit. I'm doing around 45, because my truck's massively loaded and I don't want to push the truck or risk damaging the drywall.

In the rearview, I notice a big Ford Expedition coming up behind me. Now, I realize I am going well below the limit and assume the guy wants to go faster, so I ease as far to the right as I can and slow down to 40, to encourage him to pass.

    He doesn't.

What he does do is ride my ass all the way into town.

If I didn't have the drywall - and had been driving my "farm use" truck - I'd have given the brakes a love tap and enjoyed spending my insurance money.

No, wait - his insurance money.

What is it with these Clovers?

Some people don't act too bright.

By your words, I am assuming that there was enough room for him to pass safely if he chose to pass you.

Perhaps he was trying to think why you were carrying the drywall around the countryside.

It was a wide-open straight stretch with a legal passing zone! And the Cloveroni still wouldn't go around.... arghh!
